BOOM!
Jonathan's body shot forward and became a blur. The sound of chanting could be heard and suddenly, sparks began to fly wildly.
"The young master's finally using his Lightning!" One of the servant's eyes lit up with excitement.
"While the Elemental Body mostly increases a Magician's power in only one element, in this case ice for the Young Master, it still increases the Magician's other element's by a 1/5th!"
"Let me see this amazing speed of yours! HAHAHA!!" Uncle Kil roared into laughter before his eyes turned serious and his muscles tensed in anticipation. Lightning, as you can imagine, marvels on its speed and destructive abilities!
"Have a taste of the 'Palm Flash'!" Jonathan growled as he got into close distance with his Uncle Kil. The lightning that burst forth from his body began to contract until it surrounded his right hand, which he struck forward, palm first!
BANG!
Jonathan's palm strike was met with an equally devastating punch from Uncle Kil, whose left fist shined in an azure light!
With determination, Jonathan didn't let this stop him as he quickly raised his left hand to the sky and began chanting the same spell again. This time his left palm burst into sparks until lightning coalesced around it.
BANG!
Once again, Jonathan and Uncle Kil's palm and fist clashed, only with opposite limbs. The result was the same and the two were locked in a stalemate.
BANG!
BANG!
BANG!
Strike after strike, the two exchanged multiple blows, neither of them gaining the upper hand until suddenly, Jonathan's right palm strike suddenly changed direction, dodging a clash of blows and instead striking the grassy floor beneath them.
With a quick chant, Jonathan's next grand spell was unleashed!
"Bastard!" Uncle Kil couldn't but help but growl as the earth around him suddenly turned to sludge, causing his feet to slip and become enveloped in the sludge. Jonathan was attempting to hold him hostage! He quickly attempted to counteract when suddenly the softness of the dirt that was coalescing around his feet suddenly hardened. Or more accurately, they had been frozen!

"Shit!" Escaping this entrapment was easy for a Magician of his strength, but doing it in time to avoid the enemies next attack? Impossible!
BANG!
Double Palm Flash!
Blood sprayed and Uncle Kil's stomach contracted as the impact shot through his whole body and sent him breaking free from the solid mud entrapment before sending him a dozen meters backwards. With a struggle, he was lucky as he still managed to persevere and hold himself tall on his two feet, not letting himself fall.
"I'm not gonna take this sitting down, brat!" He started a chant and suddenly there was a loud roar! Jonathan's eyes narrowed in response and a sense of apprehension could be seen in them.
"The 'Biting Wolf' spell?!" Jonathan couldn't help himself from exclaiming and instantly, his guard was up and he began to chant a spell of his own. Meanwhile, on Uncle Kil's side, a surging Aura escaped from his body and shot into the air in front of him before transforming into the element of ice!
The ice began to warp at an incredibly fast pace and in a flash a massive, ten feet long wolf like creature formed of ice appeared and instantly charged forth through the air, heading straight for Jonathan!
A second before the ice wolf collided with Jonathan, his spell activated and a shining azure shape appeared before him. This shape was of an intricately designed round shield that curved outwards.
Uncle Kil sneered audibly.
BANG!
CRACK!
The shield was almost instantly cracked open and the wolf continued its charge! Jonathan, expecting this had his both hands charged with the 'Palm Flash' spell!
Another bang reverberated throughout the area as palm met ice. Aura spread out in all directions from the clash, a reaction from the great clash and created a fog around Jonathan for a brief second.

Jonathan's body couldn't hold still from the blast and was sent tumbling backwards. Unable to gain any bearing, he smashed into a lone tree that hardly held on long before cracking and falling, leaving Jonathan laying there with his back upon its leftover stump with a rattled brain.
"Ugh... Looks like the tables have turned... Dammit, and I was so close this time!" Jonathan grumbled to himself, pain apparent in his face as he rubbed his aching left shoulder which had taken the brunt of the 'Biting Wolf' spell's attack.
"HAHAHA! Foolish Nephew, could it be that you've already given up?!" Uncle Kil's mischievous voice bellowed out.
"In your dreams you old fart! I'm just getting started!" Jonathan growled back through gritted teeth.
"Hahaha!" Uncle Kil's laughter continued.
Jonathan had risen to his feet at this point, though slowly and was now taking cautious steps forward. "This'll be the final clash!"
"Alright then! Whoever wins this next clash, wins, no matter how damaged they are!" Uncle Kil nodded.
The Uncle, Nephew duo came to a quick decision and the two quickly converged their auras in anticipation. There minds raced in thought, sizing up the other and planning their final move.
However, it was at this time that their sparring match was forced to a sudden and shocking stop when a blast of wind pushed against not only the two of them but the rest of the party. The force of this wind was so strong that they had to struggle greatly to not be forced off their feet. Hearing a whistling noise above them, everyone looked up, including the little kitten and were surprised to see a shining azure light blasting through the sky like a human sized shining arrow.
What shocked the little kitten even more was that inside this azure light she could see the vague shape of a blurred person...
'Flying?! A flying magician!!' The little kitten looked on amazed like most everyone else as that person flew off into the distance, leaving a wind trail in his or her wake...
However, they were all shocked to find that the surprise didn't end there as one of the soldier's suddenly pointed into the distance where everyone could clearly see two more azure forms blast through the sky, passing by in a matter of seconds towards the same general direction as the first person.
'What's happening?...' The little kitten suddenly felt like something was happening as even she could tell by the pure looks of disbelief on everyone that seeing three people flying with such ease like this was not a common sight even in this world of Magician's and Magical Beast's...

Divine Creatures
Kestra, a [Combat Alchemist] and [Woods Wraith Hunter], is excited to finally receive her third class. But when she attempts to do so, she instead receives a tribulation from the God of Trials, loses her classes, and is informed by the voice of the world that she's been selected to transmigrate with only three days to go. She tries her damnedest to prepare, but even the Elements are different in this new realm. A relatively staid adjustment period is completely abandoned though as she finds that, most distressingly, hundreds of transmigrators have appeared recently with dozens enslaved by the local city lord. Fine! She may have lost her classes and the magic is funky, but she'll be damned if she doesn't have a few true-blue skills up her sleeves. [synopsis re-write by luda305] A light hearted romp where the protag transmigrator *isn't* from Earth. The main story takes place on more of a western xianxia world. Note: profanity tag is because of side characters, and sexual context tag is for some risqué elements before fade-to-black scene. Book 1 is written and scheduled for release a chapter a day till 9/26 (24 chapters total) Book 2 will be added after it is all written. Updated to add fanfic tag because when I picked up the latest Ten Realms I realized that series has had a lot more influence on the setting than I consciously realized. Don't expect military or industrial revolution in xianxia, though.

Asturian Warbringer - A LitRPG on Earth
Currently releasing 5 chapters a week Luke Kells liked only one thing about himself: his green eyes. He hated getting bullied, hated being poor, hated being an orphan, hated his weakness, hated the government, hated his life. If someone had given him a button to push and kill everyone but him and his granddad, he would've done it without a second thought. Then, one day, after fainting during a beating, he woke up with memories that would change his life. Magic, martial arts, how to craft special artifacts; he knew it all. Anyone would’ve taken that path to glory at once. However, he had to deal with a lot on his plate first. To even begin walking that path, Luke first had to deal with his own psychological issues. Almost two years of brutal bullying that was akin to torture and no support from the school staff of the police had left him with a broken soul. Before even realizing he could be rich or powerful, he had to bring himself out of the mental hellhole he found himself in. Oh, and his memories also told him the Sentinel Tower would change reality in six months to protect the planet from the Demonic Horde. But that wasn’t as important as not making the local bully angry, right? A story about personal growth, overcoming obstacles, and reaching absolute glory at the end of the path. This is a slow-paced, character-centered story. If you want something faster paced, filled with almost immediate and nonstopping action, check out my other novel: Modern Awakening - A cultivation, LitRPG, apocalyptic novel.
