《The Aria Chronicles》Blood Burn III

I flashed toward Orc Blood at my greatest speed, this is a great chance to kill it in a single attack, only after killing it will I be able to get out of here.
In a second, I reached close to it and swung my Saber at ist neck, wanting to slice off its Head.
It saw my saber speedily closing in on its neck in a weird fashion as earlier, it may look very slow, but it knows it is very fast, and if it lets it get too close to its neck, then there is no saving it.
“Don’t underestimate me!” It thundered furiously as my Saber reached halfway, and the next moment, I saw the blood fumes around its body, getting thicker and teacher. With the thick blood fuse, its aura is also rising exponentially.
As its aura rose rapidly, so is the speed of its Axe, which appeared in the way of my Saber when it had reached very close to its neck.
CLANG!
The Saber and Ax clashed with the force that created deafening sound, the clash was very powerful, but all I felt was a tingle, but that is not what I am focusing on, I am focusing on the Orc Blood who unlike last time, did not move back uncontrollably, just shook a little.
Its face looks ugly, but soon, it transformed into that of Ecstacy, “Good good, I've never expected a Baron could even comprehend Mystic.”
“With you comprehending Mystic, your price has gone up, now my brother will have to pay three-times more for you.” It said with a laugh.
I did not get angry at its provocations; instead, I attacked it again this time, focusing more power and Mystic into my Saber.
Seeing my Saber coming at it, its face became serious against and swung its Axe at me.

It did not move toward my Saber but directly went for me. It seemed to guess the flexibility problem of my Saber moves due to me not being proficient in the usage of Mystic.
Though it is right, I am not proficient in using Mystic; that does not mean I do not have any proficiency enough to defend myself. If I were not confident in defending myself against such attacks, I would not have used Saber to fight.
CLANG!
My Saber took the elliptical path, and a moment later, it crashed against the head of the Orc Bloods Axe, and just as I clashed, my Saber moved back before going forward directly toward the neck of Orc Blood.
Orc Blood got alarmed and moved its Axe for the defense, it was able to defend against it, but it had to take a step by due to the force it felt, which again gave me a window of the attack.
CLANG CLANG CLANG...
The Orc Blood is a very experienced fighter, it quickly defended white taking a step back, but I am not going to let off till I killed it, so I launched another attack and then another, each one of the attacks aimed at its fatal spot.
I started to attack it intensely, not wanting to give it a chance to take a break, and it is working. The powerful attacks of mine are like a thousand Kg Sledgehammer. Each attack would make it a step back and shake its body all over.
As I continued to attack, I felt my mastery over Mystic is slowly advancing. With its advancement, I started to project more power and speed into my attacks, which is making Orc Blood's condition worse as all it could do is defend, and that is albeit barely.

We are moving all over the cavern; it is taking steps back in retread while I am advancing at it with the offensive.
CLANG! Puh
Another attack of mine was barely able to defend against, and this time something amazing happened, it puked blood and a large mouthful of it, and inside the blood, I could see bits and pieces of its internal organs.
From my fighting the Orc Blood, I had noticed that Mystic does not only make faster and stronger; it also releases some kind of destructive energy. I was not sure of it at first, as I thought it was just gritting its teeth due to immense force that came at it after each clash.
But in repeated observation, I found that Mystic had released some kind of destructive energy which wrecked the enemy’s body, and as I saw its bits of its internal organ in its puked blood, I have become even more sure.
“Bitch, you have angered me. Now even if I have to injure myself heavily to beat you to a pulp, I will do it.” It shouted in a fury, and next moment I saw even more Blood Fumes coming out of its body, and these Blood fumes are considerably darker and with a dense aura of Blood in them.
‘It is like, it's burning its blood.’ I thought, and just that moment, I saw its body is getting thinner and thinner as its aura started to, it seemed like it was really burning its Blood.
“Hehe!”
Seeing its aura rising, I attacked. I did not want to give it any chance to increase its strength, seeing my Saber coming it laughed before slashing at Ax at my Saber.
CLANG!
As our weapons clashed, the first time felt more than a tingle, and even some bloody energy tried to infiltrate me, but it was crushed by the cover Mystic that I have around me.
The Mystic I comprehended does not only apply to my Saber from which I am attacking but to me, too, as I am the center of the Mystic. If Saber is the Celestial body, then I am that humongous Moon that it is orbiting.
So, most of the power of Mystic is concentrated on me, and so foreign energy infiltration would have to breach the defense of my Mystic.
“Bitch, you have forced me to use this move and bear the wrath of it.” Orc Blood said as blood fumes stopped coming out of its body.
It had a very threatening aura and even more threatening appearance, from the big beefy body, it had turned thin as a stick that even bone could be seen sticking to his skin.
It looked like a devil that is covered in Blood red fumes, and now that devil had cleaved its ax at me, it created such power that even I started shaking from it, but that did not stop me from reacting.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
