Fuck!

They are giving us the leave of only one day after we have come from such a dangerous mission, and if that was not enough, they are going to send us back out again, and this time the place they are going to send us is going to be more dangerous than previous.

I did not believe it at first, but half an hour when Richard came back from the briefing, he had a deployment order in his hand unlike us, his mood did not seem bad, he instead seemed to look forward to it.

I talked with him for a while before I left for the Manor alone while cursing my senior officers in my mind. Would have hurt them if they have given two more days of leave.

If I had got that, then I would have been more cheerful than Richard to go there, but with just one day, I won't be able to do anything.

I wanted to refine the Mana inside me and level up Baron stage, At that time, my power would have soared as there would have been not only level up, but I would also have had quite an increase in soul power.

I am confident that when the Cosmic Tower reaches Level 2, it will have the power to refine the small seal that is inside my cosmic power, I can sense the immense amount of soul energies from the seal.

If I can refine both of then, I will have a boost of a substantial amount of the soul energy.

But it looked like nothing of that sort would happen now, I will need at least a week or more before I could ever dream of leveling up, I thought with the defeated sigh as I entered Manor.

Soon I entered the wing where my room is, I was about to enter my room when I looked at the adjacent room with complicated emotions. Just earlier, I heard from Richard that Isabell and Sheila had been sent on a secret mission with some other people and he said that mission was fairly dangerous.

'Return Safely!' I muttered as I looked at the room beside me before entering the mine. The first thing I did after entering my room is that I got completely naked and walked into the bathroom.

In this whole week, I had only taken a short bath and was always on the high when I did that in case of the enemy sneak attack. Now in the city, there is a feeling of safety which I am going to enjoy very much, I thought as I walked up to a spacious bathtub.

"Ahhh…"

I heated it and added essential oils that smelled enchanting before stepping into the tub, and when I fully laid into it, a moan of pleasure couldn't help but escape my throat.

My muscles had been tense for the whole week, but now I am feeling them loosening under this warm water and enchanting fragrance. I simply laid in the tub without doing anything.

When I got out of the tub, it was an hour later. I felt good, I felt like all muscles of my body relaxed and free. After leaving the tub, I took a quick shower before I dried myself with a towel and laid on the bed naked with my eyes.

Though I have so many things to do, I wanted to take a long sleep first to take out all the fatigue I've accumulated through the week, and to do that; sleep is the best way.

I fell asleep a few seconds after I touched the pillow, and when I woke up, I felt completely refreshed calm; I have not felt such in the whole week.

When I looked at the clock, I found out I've slept for six hours, and there is still an hour to dawn. I got out of bed and freshened up before I started doing yoga, and by the time I had finished with that, golden rays of dawn were shining outside of my window.

I took a shower and ate some monster meat as I was feeling quite hungry before I sat cross-legged on the floor and started taking things out of my storage.

The Blood Energy inside me bubbling rapidly, just one look at it enough to tell how dangerous this energy is.

I had divided the Initials stage body refining material into nine parts, in which I had used two parts in previous practices, and now only seven had remained; I hope that today I will be able to refine my body with at least three parts.

I take out one part of the materials and then started preparations, and a few minutes later, the torture begins which I began to endure with the Gritted teeth.

The pain is immense as I remembered; there is no lessening with its intensity; all I could do is bear with my heart and mind and hope it will be over soon as possible.

Time passed by as I continued to bear the pain through the Gritted teeth, with the pain each minute felt like an hour as I bore the pain. So when about one and a half an hour later, when the pain started to lessen, I found myself heaving a sigh of relief and laid on the floor tiredly.

I laid tiredly for ten minutes before I got up and closed my eyes as it is time to refine some blood energy.

I looked at the raging red energy in my core and couldn't help but shudder, only after an hour later did I build the courage to collect a few strands of Red energy for refinement.

"Fuck!"

I cursed loudly and immediately let go of those strands of the blazing hot energy before they completely burned my energy veins and turned me into living coal.

Looking at the state of my blood energy, I had expected it to be very hot, but it is hotter than I had imagined.

Just as I moved those few strands into my veins to refine them, I found them releasing blazing hot energy though my veins before my body, it less than one second, have already half burned my mana veins if it had stayed there a second later, them they have not only burned my veins but also half of the body.

I knew Richard had made quite a progress in these few weeks, but I was not able to pinpoint where but now, seeing how blazin hot my blood energy is, I am very sure Richard had made huge progress in his blood refining.
