A brigade of Half-Blood mercenaries of the from The Chameleon city, dealing with them going to be extremly difficult. It would have been fine if the company of two had come, but the whole freaking brigade of them is coming.

A brigades numbers vary in every race, but they always have around 3000 people, which may not be huge numbers as we have fought such numbers coming here, but these are the powerful mercenaries who have abundant fighting experience.

Contemporary to people’s beliefs that half-bloods weaker than primary races is entirely untrue, the opposite of it is true. They get the best of both races and practice any method of their parents or ancestor race.

“Are we receiving any reinforcements?” Asked Nigel, to which Ramon shook his head, “The possibility of us receiving reinforcement is very low, we will have to defend this city with present strength we have.” Ramon said.

Currently, Hilnet city has the force of the around thirty thousand, but orcs have double number than us, and Top of that, there is going those half-blood mercenaries. The battle ahead of us is going to be bloodier than I had imagined.

“Any information on when the Orcs will attack the city?” Isabell asked, “There seemed to be no change in their timing, minimum they will take two weeks while maximum they will attack four weeks.” He replied.

“The Orcs are using the strategy of siege and attack; they are currently laying the siege around the city. In a week, their siege would become perfect that for anyone to come to the city, would have to pass through the Orcs encirclement, which will make very difficult for reinforcement to come.”

“If the reinforcement didnt come within the week, then don’t expect them to,” said Ramon; after the week, the Blockade of Orcs would become even more strongly that no large force would able to travel in its vicinity.

“From tomorrow, you all will be divided into groups that will clear the Orcs that came near too close to the city,” Ramon said, after that, he filled us on many essential things that we needed to know before he ended the meeting.

I was got very disappointed when he did not stop me, I was hoping he would have someone for me to fuck, but he did not, ‘Looks like this time I have to find someone on my own.’ I thought as I walked out of Manor with Shiela, Clea and Isabell.

I would have liked nothing more than going to my room and make some more strings and refine my body with all the time I have; unfortunately, there are other important things like registering merit and selling stuff.

I have killed a shit load of Orcs and collected lots of weapons, so I am quite excited about the merit I will get from them.

“I hope its they are not too much week, last time I got assigned bunch of weak Knights, instead of killing the enemies, I had to focus on them,” Shiela complained.

“Something like that happened to me too.” Clea chined in. “I wish we just go alone from the start!” Shiela said in a spoiled manner.

In what manner than hunt will depend on the condition and what strategy we are using, this time we have been on the complete defensive, and we have to kill the Orcs that had come too close to the city.

One usually could hunt alone as long as they are the strength of normal viscounts, but for Elite, this is a little different, especially for the Viscount Elites. They have to lead the groups for a while before they could go alone.

Though not all Elites are like Shiela, some of them prefer to lead the team as there are many advantages to that as there are disadvantages.

Soon we reach the Army compound of Hilnet city and go inside after proving our identity. The bounty that I had collected should be sorted by now; I just had to give the conformation and receive the merit and money from them.

The Army compound is bigger than I had expected, well it should be as it is housing more than thirty thousand troops. Regular troops can’t live outside of the compound, even the troops of Ramon had to stay inside the compound, only they are Scions, or scions retainers could stay outside of the compound.

“Lilith, look your contributions in Knights are highest,” Sheila said, as she pointed at the contribution list of Knight level there my name is at the Top with more than one thousand merit points.

“This is just the list of Hilnet city,” I said casually, but inside, I am pleased; though this list only referred to the Hilnet city, it is still felt good to have the highest merit points in such tight competition.

There are more than twenty thousand knights level troops in the city and more than two hundred elites in them, to top them all is no easy thing, especially when I entered the battle late.

Though I had topped the list, others were not behind me, and I am sure when the hunt of today will count, many people would surpass me, so I will have to work hard if I want to come Top and stay there.

I have already decided to be on the list, not this list but the list of the whole battlefield, though I know, it will be hard but as long as I create 24 strings and give my all then there is a chance that I might able to enter the might enter the list.

After going across the list, we confirmed our merit and sale of the things we got in from of the Orcs.

Now I have 1613 merit points and 54 crystal coins, which is a huge sum of money, but it could evaporate soon. At knight level, I dont have many practice expenses, but from the Baron, I will have many, and the money I have will disappear like the smoke.

After we got our merit points and we roam the compound for some time before we came back to the manor.

Right after I came back to my room, I sat cross leg on my bed and started to create the Soul Strings, from tomorrow I will go for the hunt, and for that, I want to be at my best. So today, even if it takes me the whole night, I will create the soul strings with all the soul energy I have.

Time passed by, and I kept creating the strings, and due to practice, my speed got faster. The more strings I create, the proficient I have become doing that, and probably that is why I was able to finish covering all my soul energy by 12.

Currently, there is very small soul energy that had remained in me, and I left it intentionally as complete soul strings couldnt be created through it.

With all the Soul energy I have, I have created 13 soul strings which are within my estimation, though these thirteen soul strings will not be able to help me defeat strong elite Baron’s but weaker ones, those who barely entered the boundary of Baron elite would not be a problem for me.
