Infinite Ocean Ch 19
Jess PoV
These past few days our life has been rocked by Sam. When I first met him, he looks just your average Joe in the streets. He was quite tall standing at 1.8 meter with black eyes and hair. I can see that he have a well trained body since his clothes didn't hide his phsique tht much.
He wears some cheap clothing when he entered my department but was I wrong when I think that he is poor.
He availed the highest kind of business certificate and even gave me a huge tip. My elder sister, Rain, was the one who was guiding him so he was quite open yo me and even pointed out our racial trait which was our ears.
He has then been talking to us ecery other day about our nation and our opponent. He was quite an intelligent man since he can came up with unique ideas which may or may not work in real battle.
But right now he is doing his business in the city so me and big Sis are walking the streets.
"If you don't want to get hurt, follow us quietly." A thug said with a lecherous smile even though he can't see our faces with the enchanted veil on.
"Who are you guys?" Big Sis Rain asked seriously as some thug encircle us
"Hehe, your friend was unluckily targeted by us so you need to be our hostages." a masked man creepily said as he waved a wand.
A bunch of vines started to sprout in our feet to restrict us. Fortunately the two of us are experienced Magicians. Big Sis immediately used some Wind Blades to cut the vines as I conjure Gust to blow the thugs.
We were fending the thugs easily but I was done in by a huge guy and was knocked out with a powerful punch at my stomach.

When I woke up, I was at the roof of the house that we were staying at. Which was a sign that Big Sis used the Wind Capsule spell to send me here.
Wind Capsule is a technique that envelop the person or thing within the range of the spell in a capsule mad of air. The said capsule will then be propelled by a strong wind to a certain direction or area. It was a pretty taxing spell which would most likely empty the mana pool.
"This is bad!! Big Sis is most likely captured by those thugs!" I exclaimed as I think of the ways to rescue Big Sis
As I was busy trying to decide what to do, a bunch of men came out and started attacking me. Our house was being slowly destroyed by the onslaught of attacks so I was forced to use the defense spell that we arranged in our home.
A Tornado Wall is a spell that only the Royal Elf Family knows. Since we are both Elven Princess we were taught the Royal Wind Elf Magic. We have the greates affinity to the Wind so we can conjure spells with low consumption of mana.
The Tornado Wall is what it says. It will form a tornado around the spell which can defend against many physical and magical attacks. It consumes a lot of magical stones so we use it only in need
The thugs continued in attacking the Tornado Wall maniacly which was scary since there are some that get a lot of wounds due to the tornado. The Magical Stone that the Tornado Wall is using is about to run out so I was preparing to fught with my life. As I was ready to end the lives of the bad guys that has been attacking me, Big Sis went through the wall.

"I knew that you will be safe." Big Sis said with tears in her eyes as she hugs me weakly
"Sis, what happened to you? Why are you in a weakened state?" I asked worriedly since I can feel that she only have feeble amount mana inside her. Her face lost its color and her hug was weak.
"Don't worry I'm fine. I was poisoned by a gang named Black Tentacle and was luckily saved by Sam. I am sure that he will protect us." Big Sis said with a weak smile
After she said that a shout resounded from the outside even with a Tornado howling outside. Sam cleaned up the remaining thugs that attck me so me and Big Sis disable the Tornado Wall.
I was shocked by what I saw after the tornado dispersed. Many people were knocked out in the ground, there were even Marines present. The scary thing is the fact that only Sam was standing there without any wounds or signs of being attacked.
He then took us to a huge ship. He owns the huge ship which I estimate can hold upto 3000 people. The exterior of the ship was amazing but sadly the interior was not that finished.
There are only empty and dull rooms in the ship. He treated us with care and even gave us our own room, which was quite huge as well. To calm us down, we went shopping for decorations and furnitures. The day was used up in a fun time but was cut short by a Marine officer that talked to us.
The situation was explained to Captain Brock before we were able to leave the Outpost and continued our shopping.
The nest day I woke up in the unfamiliar room which I can call my own. It was decorated with the help of one of the Master of Sam. Master Nix was an ordinary looking Grandma with scary powers hiding beneath her skin. Even though I can feel that her Mana Pool was different than mine and seemed to be ruptured, I was still amazed by the amount of mana it can store.
As we were decorating, she requested for our help in the practice of Sam in the ways of Magic. We removed our veil infornt of him and mediatated.
Sam was vlearly inspired with our display as he tried grasping mana. A scary and imposing Mental Energy emanated from Sam. All of us including Master Nix felt that Sam is trying to rule the mana according to his will like a tyrant with immense energy.
He was able to grap mana but he fainted immediately after he grasped mana since it drained his Mental Energy dry. When he woke up the plan against the Black Tentacle was discussed and we were able to know the next possible set of actions of Sam.
