Augustus PoV

"You know, Greed. I think I realized my greatest power!" I said as I was in the shower

"Yes? Of course it is definitely me right?" Greed smugky asked

"Nope, I think that you are second to my greatest power list infront if Fenrir and that weird Chaos Gear." I said while scrubbing my hair

"Oh yeah? Si what is that so called power that you say as the 'greatest power'. It can't be your bloodline right?" Greed asked with annoyance clear in his voice

"Hehehe, I believe that its is Luck!" I said proudly

"Seriously? You are telling me that an intagible thing as Luck is greater than I, a symbiotic armor capable of controlling the different powers inside you and the protector of your soul?" Greed said with a mocking tone

"Come on man, chill. Let me explain my part before you start dismissing my claim." I said calmly as I turn on the shower and rinsed the shampoo

"First, I was able to survive as a kid during an attack of space pirate."

"Secondly, I was able to wield and fuse you Greed."

"Third, I was able to take over the ARK with your ability which so happened to allow the copying of devoured beings."

"Fourth, I was able to survive and escape the numerous space ships with a far more advanced tech."

"Fifth, I was able to survive a space warp and the ARK just so happen to land near this planet."

"Sixth, upon arrival in this world I was adopted by my parents who just so happened to be one of the leader of the Devils."

"Seventh, I actually had a Chaos Gear naturally and happened to stumble to a scene where I earned another Chaos Gear."

"Lastly, I was actually able to survive the attack of Shuten Doji with the accumulation of the right powers which barely diverted his attack." I finished as I wiped my body by a towel before going to my closet and wearing my stylish clothes

"Hmm...You have a compleing case. However, I am still your strongest power!" Greed said with pride in his tone

"Well, in term of actual and measureable power you are my greatest power. Since I seemed to hurt your feelings earlier, I am treating you to a Kobe Beef steak later." I apologized to Greed

"Really?! Hehe, you are still the best in the world?" Greed happily said before tranforming to a cool Shades

It has been a week since the Oni Event and all of the Young Devils were punished for six months and stopped going in school for a while.

They employed an illusion formation that alters the minds of all students thinking that the missing Devils were actually still there.

I decided to reveal my true identity to Aunt Ruby and gave back her Evil Pieces. Since Father already know about the scheme of Kokabiel I just dropped the act since I am sure that Aunt would surely have more protectors from now on.

But before Aunt Ruby left, I decided to gave her an advise. I advised that she should just give the summoning paper to her chosen person to be her pawn. Since I am sure that anyone she chose definitely have a Chaose Gear, there is a high chance that the would encounter an attack from Fallen Angels. So if they became wounded and was in danger, the person might wish for help and Aunt Ruby then can make her offer.

With her safety secured, I am pretty sure that there wouldn't be any war hapPening. So I believe that it is time for my world tour.

So for my first stop, I decided to go to the City of Fuyuki. It has been 10 years since a freak fire and explosion that decimated numerous residentials. According to IRIS the ARK percieved the event as an anomaly.

"Hello Dad, you see I am headed to Fuyuki City. Are there anything that I need to be wary or careful of inside this city?" I asked as I boreded the Bus that was headed specificallly to Fuyuki City

"Fuyuki City? Hmm... That place is the Territory of the Human Magus. That place is quite protected due to the fact that several clans decided to set their base in that area" Father said with a calm ton

"Although the Devil Army can conquer that area, I am sure that it wouldn't be easy. It wasn't worth it tk conquer that little city in the expense of earning another enemy out of the Human Magus. So that city is ruled by Humans rather than any of the three powers. However, I think that they may have connection to Christianity so be careful to not offend any Magus in that area. Well, I am pretty busy right now so I can't explain more to you. But with your power, I doubt that you would die in that place." Father reminded before hanging up the phone

With only few reminders, I decided thatthat would be too risky so I immediately call Mom for more information.

"Hello Mom, are you busy?" I asked since most of the time if Dad is she is also busy

"Well, not in particular. Your Dad is currently finishing up the paper works and looking at the reports. So I am at a break since it may take a while before he finish. Why do you ask?" Mom inquired

"Well, I am currently headed to Fuyuki City. So are there any advise that you might give me?" I asked

"Wait? What happened to your school? Didn't you say before that you want to attend in Souh Academy?" Mother asked with apparent confusion

"Well, you see, I only went to that school to protect aunt. Since she isn't there I decided to travel, but don't worry Mom I will return when all the Young Devils return. So are there any danger in this area?" I explained calmly

"Well that city is relatively safe. The Magus in that place are slowly deteriorating and there are only few powerful ones still alive. However don't do anything stupid in that area since there are still some people capable of decimating you." Mom warned

"Hmm, thanks for the information Mom. Bye, Take care." I bid farewell since I know that she barely had free times like this during work

"Take care too. I know that you are already an independent man but I am still reminding you that you should always eat right and get enough sleep, okay. If you encountered any problem, don't hesitate to call me." Mom said before ending the call

You might womder why I am taking a bus right? Well, it would be simpler this way and I can also sight see and observe the area that are within the route.

I became bored quickly by the repetitive scenery which I expected so I just opened my phone and monitored the progress of the ARK Tower.

*IRIS, can you year me?* I thought as I tried to communicate with the ARK using my thought

[Affirmative Sir.]

*Send to my phone the progress of the Tower and the ARK reactor.* I thought in which a file was immediately added and opened automatically

[According to the data gathered, the Tower has only been 5% completed. While the reactor took quick progress with 18% completed due to the fact that the engineers were able to understood the schematics.] IRIS reported

IRIS continued in explaining the data while the bus was on its way to Fuyuki so I was never bored. As the bus approached the city, another event happened. I suddenly felt a searing pain in my right shoulder as if something was engraving something.

*FUCK! GREED, IS SOMETHING HAPPEENING IN MY SOUL?!* I shouted in my head as I suppress myself from shouting because I can feel a comparable pain that I experienced when I awakemed my Chaos Gear

"There is indeed something happening in your soul but I can definitely tell you that it isn't a Chaos Gear." Greed replied with a confused tone

"There seemed to be an endless thread that appeared out of nowhere inside of your soul and attached itself to the Right shoulder of your soul." Greed continued with astonishment

*FUCK! IT SEEMS THAT AS MUCH AS I CAN CONSIDER MYSELF LUCKY I AM ALSO UNLUCKY!!! IT HURTSSS!* I continued on shouting as in my mind I gripped my right shoulder tightly

*FUCK THIS SHIT!* I cursed before activating [Ulfr Konungr] or Fenrir Gloves. I immediately sent my consciousness toward my Chaos Gear and entered the Space where Fenrir is residing.

My body immediately passed out but before my consciousness move to the Chaos Gear, I postioned myself to look as if I am asleep.

"IT HURTS!! FUCK! CAN YOU HELP ME FENRIR?!" I continued on shouting as I rolled in the ground while clutching my shoulder

"I am afraid that I can't help you Augustus since I am no expert when it comes to soul. However, I can feel that the power that is now connected to your soul is of Divine origin." Fenrir said with a depressed tone since he can't help the person that allowed him to taste many delicous things

"€^'[email protected]&&@;'XBHGDHRHCHCDHDBCV^#^#&-;*#&@;#:&'JAN" I balled up screaming curses as I determined to endure this pain. How could I become stronger if I immediately backdown from this pain.

After a grueling 30 minutes of pain, I finally felt peace and the pain vanished. I slumped down in the green oatch of grass which was the ground in the [Soul Space] of the Fenrir Gloves.

*Inhale*

"FUCK THAT HURT LIKE HELL!"

*Exhale*

"Any ideas what that was Fenrir?" I asked as I start to recover

"I don't know. Through out the history of me being a soul trapped Chaos Gear, this is the first time that something like this happened. However as I stated earlier, I can say that this is something done by a Divine Being or object." Fenrir said confidently as he observed me, especially my right arm

"Augustus, have you recieved a Norse Tatoo? I can smell some Nordic magic and a scent of a strong being." Fenrir continued as he sniffed my right arm

"Well, No. I haven't encountered anyone that used Nordic Magic.....However I do remember hearing a voice inside my head when I was about to be squished by Shuten Doji. I believe it was [Megin]" I explained as I remember the time when I was fighting

"Megin? isn't that the norse for Strength? Why would you hear something like that? Unless..... Did you have another Chaos Gear?" Fenrir asked as if he thought of a reason why I have a trace of Nordic Magic

"Well... now that you mention it, I actually fused that Chaos Gear to my right wrist. According to the Fallen Angel in which I earned that Chaos Gear, it was assume to be [Twice Critical] since he saw its original wielder increasing his strength when the were fighting." I explained

"How about you try to summon that Chaos Gear right now." Fenrir asked in which I immwdiately complied.

A thick golden gauntlet appeared in my right arm whcih surprisingly isn't heavy. While it may be bulky, I am surprisingly able to move my wrist freely without any impediment from the gauntlet.

It also have a Violet Orb above where my fist is located. It is a little orb that looks very amazing and even have a nice luster in it.

I can assume that it is a gauntlet from a Heavy Armor since with its size, there is no way a normal armor would have a gauntlet this bulky.

"That my friend is definitely not a [Twice Critical]." Fenrir stated with a hint of surprise present in his voice

"The what now?! So you are telling me that I fused with an unkown Chaos Gear?!" I outbursted as I feel stupid that I just went ahead a did something like taking in another Chaos Gear without any assurance of what its true power.

"Hahaha, calm down. Its okay Augustus, although that might not be [Twice Critical] I can assure you that it should be a strong one." Fenrir laighed as he reassured me that my decision is alright

"Really? How can you say so? And what is with the [Megin] thing?" I asked as I calmed myself down and curiously looked at this new power of mine

Fenrir seemed to be in deep thought so while he was thinking the answers to my questions, I summoned Greed.

"So Greed, what is the situation outside?" I inquired since the bus might had already arrived in the end of it route

"Everything is okay outside. Nobody suspected that you are experiencing something and just looked as if you are just an individual sleeping." Greed assured

"How can you tell? And are we near the location emd of the route?" I continued asking since I am pretty nervous that there might be some strong individual noticing of my existence

"Relax, Master. I can say that they look at you like you are just another sleeping passenger since they just glance at you. You do remembered that I transformed to a cool shades so I have great visuals since you are actually wearing it. As for wether we are near to the end of the route, I think that we are nearing since I can observe from the window that the urban buildings are increasing and there are some traffic stops here and there." Greed reported before going to Fenrir and hoping in his head

"Well, I do not have a memory of any of the previous host of [Ulfr Konungr] to ever encounter a Chaos Gear like that. What I can tell you right now is that its isn't fully awaked right now since you seemed to not uet entered its [Soul Space]. I can also tell you that whatever inside that Chaos Gear is strong." Fenrir said after a minute of thinking

"Oh well, I have too many thing on hand right now and another mysterious power isn't that bad. I mean, I am trying to think of the way to easily conquer and become a ruler of Oregon after my ARK tower became finished. While also visiting other place in search of good subordinates. While also in a 6 month time constraint before going bacl to Souh Academy to observe wether Kokabiel would still try his attack for security measures." I sighed before bidding farewell and going back to my body
