《The Forgotten Angels》Chapter 9

I sat on Rocky's throne for a couple of hours, working through all these new but familiar emotions I went through during Trina's short visit. But what bothered me most, and this feeling has been going on ever since Therlion cracked open the coffin, getting worse, especially when Amy gets involved. I can only call it déjà vu. (another strange phrase)
Trina waited for thousands of years alone, but she seemed so happy when she left. I hope she sees to father soon. The voice must have been the same one that took Father too, and I wonder what he meant by little sister. I shake my head to put my thoughts in order.
Let's focus on making our training room till Sally gets back. I placed a 30'x30' area north of the bedroom connected with a 10' tunnel. Like the rest, then shifted the bathroom entrance into the hallway instead of directly off the chamber.
One more Mana, I should spend it. Since undead rats are buying one, get four free. I will place them in the first two rooms. Right after I stood up to find Amy to show her our training area, a sweaty head peeked into the room.
When she saw me walking over with a grin, she immediately threw her arms around my waist, burying her head in my rib cage, and asked if I was better now. "I'm fine," I say with a laugh.
Amy quickly pulled back. "You feel different. More real," she said while poking at my breast. It took me a moment to register what she said, then I looked down, confused, and touched my chest, noticing the softness. "What!, how did that happen."
Then, a melodious voice whispers into the room, making both Amy and I jump. We have decided your punishment is over. You shall get another chance at a good life. Good luck, little sister. I'll give your regards to father. With a low chuckle, the sound slowly drifted away.
"Who's. We," I ask after several seconds of pause. Okay, then, this must be one of those needs to know details. I thought. Sticking my tongue out at the air, I attempted to change my chest back and failed. Confused, I tried to change my skin tone again. Nothing happened. "Why can't I change back!"
Amy just shrugged. "Your prettier this way." Bent over, and quick as a flash lifted my robe over her head; "yup, you're definitely my Big sister now." She says while giggling.

With a huff, I pull my garment from her hands and let it fall back to the floor while I hurried to the mirror in the bedroom. I was just about to turn the corner into the bedroom when I noticed Rocky heading my way. I paused. But he rushed past me. I rolled my eyes, guessing he was going to his throne.
Continuing on my path, I notice our Fairy's sitting on top of the wardrobe wearing lace dresses that looked precisely like Trina's. Sally put on a green version while Tayna was wearing a red one. I smiled, "you both look pretty."
Their eyes went wide, with bright smiles, they asked, "really?"
"Yes, absolutely," I said as I faced the mirror. With a thought, my robes vanished, and I stood there naked. While the three girls moved around me, looking from all sides, I sighed seems I have no choice.
I noticed Amy standing beside me in the mirror, and we were the same height now, and we looked the same age. No, we look like sisters now. Amy was staring with wide eyes. "That was so cool. How did you do that."
"I didn't I said as tears rolled down my cheeks. Why am I crying?" I shout. After that, Amy started crying. Soon we were holding each other, sobbing. Me because I'm losing control, and Amy because she has been alone for too long.
After A few minutes of this, I calm down, and I summon a pure white lace dress like the fairies. But the moment it's done, I feel my Mana plummeting, so I cancel it just as fast. While sobbing, I ask. "Why can't I wear magic clothes anymore?" just like that, the tears start again. This time, Amy keeps calm and holds me.
"Twin's!" a surprised voice says, from the door, making Amy and me jump. I hide my nudity behind Amy while she holds her arms out protectively in front of me.
The voice came from a tall Elven woman in Leather and mail armor, with a bow almost as long as herself on her back. Two fancy long knives strapped at her waistline.
Looking somewhat embarrassed behind the elf was a Dwarf in full plate armor and a massive tower shield on his back. Two spiked hammers were also at his waist. The elf turned around, saying. "Triston, go talk to Rocky while I handle this."
How do they know Rocky's name? I wanted to shout, but I couldn't I could sense my mind regressing toward that of a child. Staring at Amy, I see she is likewise getting younger. For the first time, I am scared, no, terrified, and Amy looks the same.

The elf smiled down at us kindly, walked to the wardrobe. Pulled out the pink princess outfit Amy had worn the day before. Stepping up to me, she asked me to raise my arms. After she tugged the dress down, she picked me up, set me on the bed. Then she Did the same for Amy. She got on her knees to be at eye level and said. "Hello, my name is Arlean Tuathe."
"Now, which one of you is Nalle?" she smiled at us, and if Amy was any way to judge what was happening to me. I could tell we already looked like we're nine, maybe ten years old. I shyly raise my hand; "I am."
"We need to go to the throne room now, okay, Nalle." "Okay," I said. She stood up, helped us off the bed, held both our hands, and led us to the throne room. (This is too strange, almost like we're playing to someone else's script.)
When we entered, I regarded the dwarf who looked at Tuathe. I tried to send Rocky a command to help, but he only looked at us and dropped his shoulders. Are ye ready, lass? She placed both Amy and me on the throne and told us this is Darnath were friends of Therlion.
I giggled, "Terlon is funny," then clasped my hand over my mouth.
"There regressing faster than they told us," Darnath said.
"Quite, Triston, you'll scare them," said Tuathe. "Did you explain things to Rocky," she asked.
"O course I did, Rocky, come here, lad." Not that it took much to explain, he knew most of it.
Shocked, I stare at Rocky betrayed, but I couldn't focus. My mind kept drifting.
Rocky walked in front of the throne, got down on one knee, and bowed to both girls. That looked only two now.
{Rocky Minor Earth Elemental (1 star) would like permission to run The Forgotten Tomb's In your stead} [Yes] [No]
Tuathe, who was now sitting on the throne, holding both girls on her lap, asked Nalle, "is there a picture now, sweety."
I nod.
"Good," thus she faced Tayna, who was also getting younger. "Can you show me, Tayna?"
Tayna, who was looking scared, turned to Sally, who still kept up a facade for Tayna's sake. She nodded consent to her sister. When Tuathe saw the screen, she guided the little girl to accept the Prompt. Good job, Nalle, and rubbed her head.
{Rocky is now Vice Dungeon Master of The Forgotten Tombs. Rocky will upgrade to previously unlocked class Earth Elemental High Lord (1 star)}
After observing the earth elemental class up, they looked at the two sleeping infants. "Hoo, that was a close one said Darnath."
Tuathe glared and told him to shush.
Rocky, now over ten feet tall, who looked more humanoid now, was still kneeling. He gently touched the feet of both toddlers, and with a raspy voice, said. "Take care of the girls," he then stood up to build his dungeon.
"Hold on there, lad," said Darnath. "Gimme a second to fuse the core to the crown." A few minutes later, Darnath had Rocky kneel in front of him and placed the crown on his head. The crown fused to his head and looked like it had always been there.
Darnath put his hand on Rocky's shoulder and said. "Rocky, ye father would be proud. Thanks for protecting the lass's."
Rocky stood, nodded to them both, took one last glance at the twins, and walked away.
Tuathe turned to the much younger Fairy's. Who looked exhausted? She refrained from having them pack their things and told them to lie down with the girls.
"No point packing their stuff," Darnath said, "nuthen gonna fit them anyhow."
"Okay, let's leave then," as they walked down the shaft, each with a sleeping bundle, they passed an intersection and saw Rocky leaning against a wall. Watching them go, he gave a small nod and turned around. The pair saw him disappear, and all the glow stones in the tunnel dimmed down to nothing.
Before the trapdoor, two skeletons saluted the sleeping bundles, then trudged off down the tunnel.
Exiting the trapdoor, it vanished, and the tiny bundle in Tuathe's arm gave a slight whimper in her sleep. Tuathe looked at the sky and sighed, "I hope you know what you're doing, Mathew."
"Memories are important. Nalle will need a connection to this world if she is to save it," was the barely heard response on the breeze.
"I can understand doing this for your daughter, but why, Amy," asked Tuathe.
"Because I owe Therlion's Father a debt. Besides, there sweet together," said Mathew. as his voice faded away.

Humanity endures. The phrase is not only an informal slogan of the reformed United Nations, but a rallying cry the world over. Even in the face of extermination, we struggled, we fought, and we endured. But just how close did we actually come? In our darkest hour, how many steps separated our species from oblivion? And are we even safe now? Were the mistakes made by earlier generations really so obvious? Or are they only so blatent when we look back with the advantage of hindsight? If so, what horrors might be staring us in the face even now that no one has the foresight to prevent? Drawn from thousands of interviews, as well as uncorrupted contemporary recordings and source documentation dating back to the early 2000s; Points of Light is a definative look at the last half century of upheaval, prosperity and carnage.
