~Vlad PoV~

“Why did you kill them? I thought that I told you that if they die their superiors would know of their deaths and properly also see us.” Floyd said.

I looked at him for a while before I looked at their dead bodies again “Well, it’s not like they haven’t seen us before right? Anyway, let’s go. I have a bad feeling that the more we stay here the more danger we would be in. We also don’t know how they managed to find us in the first place remember? so it is best to get out of here and go to somewhere that is filled with people, also we can find more information while we are at it.” I told him and he nodded his head before he looked back at the lake.

“What about the cave in the lake?” He asked me.

“I don’t know let’s just leave it here for know until we get more information about what it is, I doubt it would do us any good if we go back now.” I said and he nodded once more.

“Do you know where the closest city is located other than the capital?” I asked him and he thought about it for a while before he materialised a map out of nowhere.

I looked at him shocked “What the hell was that?” I asked him and he looked at me confused first before he started to laugh “It’s a spectral ring, I thought you also had one, I mean where did you place all the things you had with you?” He asked with a joking tone.

‘There was something like this in this world? Then why the fuck did I have to store all those items in my dantian for?’ I asked Dyton.

‘Calm down kid, storing it in your dantian is far better than placing it in that kind of ring, why? Because if you lose the ring you would lose everything inside of it and there is no way for you to find it again.’ Dyton explained.

I let the matters go as I smiled at the prideful Floyd “Well, where is the nearest city at?” I asked him.

“Well, if we take the capital out then the closest city is not a city but a tiny country called Gorus, we can head there but I believe it is best for us to get out of any human territory who knows whether they have men stationed there or not.” He said.

“Let’s first go to this Gorus, we can plan our next move there, the more we stay here the more likely it’s for them to find us.” I said and he nodded.

“Let’s go!” I said and returned my sword from the dead bodies, there wasn’t a single drop of blood on it so it was fine. I jumped on top of my sword and looked at Floyd who also took out a sword to stand on, “Which way is it?” I asked him and he pointed at a direction.

~Whoosh!

~Whoosh!

Just like that, we both turned into a ray of light leaving the lake and the dead bodies behind.

~Capital, Blare~

~Noe PoV~

“We have to live, the emperor level humans have been on alert for a few days now, if they find us it would cause a lot of trouble, please my lady please let’s get out of here.” The bird said.

It’s true, lately many students have been asked a couple of questions, they even sealed off the entrance so no one can go and see their families for now. I wonder what had happened.

‘Maybe I should get out of here before something happens. It’s not like I can find ‘him’ now, I have already checked out every other sect in the human territory.’ I told myself.

“Fine let’s leave tonight, but I am definitely not returning home without him.” I said to the bird and the bird nodded before she went out sight.

‘1 more year, if I can’t find him in 1 year I will go home and find another way to deal with this problem.’ I thought as I let out a sigh of relief.

I made my way to the arena.

“Hello!”

On my way, I heard someone call for me and so I turned around.

I looked at the man with 3 women behind him, he had long blond hair and deep blue eyes. He was not that tall nor short for any matter. He had on a long white robe and he had a gentle smile on his face.

“What?” I asked him in a cold tone and he just smiled.

“My name is Dax Livingston what is your name, my lady.” He said to me.

“And why should I give you my name?” I asked him and the women behind him all frowned.

“Do you even know who…” Before she could say anything more the man stopped her and looked at me.

“Indeed there is no reason for you to give me your name, I just thought we could be friends.” He said.

“hump.” I said and turned around heading for the arena.

“I am going to cut that bitch apart!” One of the women said as she went after me but the man stopped her from moving.

“Interesting , I doubt that I can’t make her mine.” The man mumbled as he put his hands on the two women next to him and left. The third women looked at my back for a while before she also went after them.

“Humans really are disgusting.” I mumbled as I went towards the arena.
