~Hallow woods~

~Floyd PoV~

"I will let you get beaten up first before I help you." I mumbled as I watched how Vlad cut two of the enemies down with his sword.

'Now that I watch him fight, what is that strange energy he uses on his sword, it's definitely not that of a beast.' I thought as I put my hand on my chin.

'The energy he uses is black why? As beasts we all use blue energy's, does it mean that he is not a beast? No, he definitely is a beast. So why is that the energy he is producing is black, strange very strange.' I thought as I took out an arrow and placed it at my bow.

I aimed the bow the man who suddenly jumped to behead Vlad.

I closed my eyes for a second and the blue energy in my dantian started to rumble before it gushed out from my veins and entered every part of my body, I transformed my eyes into that of a beast and I made the blue energy in my body to enter the arrow.

"Die!" I said and let go of the arrow.

~Whoosh!

The arrow created ripples as it moved through the air and hit the targets skull in a matter of seconds, he didn't have enough time to even sense it coming.

~BOOM!

The man was blown to bits and everyone looked at the place where the man was. All that was left was simple blood and tattered clothes.

The remaining 6 got away from Vlad's position and retreated as they looked at me, I smiled and waved at them, their eyes widen when they saw my eyes "Another damn beast, just how can they all be in human form, they are not even at the immortal level?" One of them said in a low voice but as a beast and an archer, of course, I could hear it clearly.

"Why have you entered Human territory? Do you really wish to start a war between us?" The man in the front shouted as he looked at me and Vlad, His eyes blazed with anger as he looked at us with while raising his killing intent.

"How about you tell us where you are from first and who sent you after us then I might consider answering your question." Vlad said in his deep dragon voice.

The man smirked at us.

'Something is not right' I thought as my eyes narrowed and I looked at them closely.

My face paled and my lower lip quivered, I finally understood what they were up to.

"Like hell, I would allow you!" I shouted and I jumped down from the three turning into a 12-meter long humanoid beast with scales everywhere, my bow also grew larger and I got an arrow that matched the size of my bow and aimed it at them.

"So he was that monster we saw!...Quickly finish the formation!" The man in the front yelled and suddenly a strange white energy ball appeared above their head as they all closed their eyes and gave the 2-meter long energy ball more of their ki energy.

The ball turned into a 5-meter huge ball and I pulled my arrow as hard as I could and filled it with my blue energy and released it.

~Whoosh!

I released my arrow before they did and looked back towards Vlad who was stunned watching this, I grabbed him with both of my hands and threw him into the lake, while jumping in myself after turning back to my normal size of 2 meters.

The 6 men who saw the arrow come towards them paled, as they all took out something and placed it on their forehead.

"Stand your ground men, we need to finish our orders even if it costs our life if we stop now they will live and get out of here. We can't let that happen no matter what!" The man in the front yelled as sweat could be seen running down his face.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" They yelles as they shot the white energy ball towards the incoming arrow.

~BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Meanwhile, in the water Vlad was busy asking Dyton a lot of questions while Floyd was busy drowning.

~Floyd PoV~

'I can do this, I need to calm down...Calm down...Calm down you can do this' I thought over and over again while trying to get used the water.

I started to recall my past.

I am stubborn, confident and adventurous. But this is all just a facade, a mechanism to deal with my unsettling past.

I was born and grew up in a needy family in a broken city.

When I was born I was born as half human half beast this made people think my mother has been with a human and that's why I was like this.

My father exiled my mother. Since I was born in a broken city no one knew that super divine beasts were born as humans or half humans.

My brothers and sisters were also exiled along with my other siblings so we came to live in a small part of the city.

despite all the bad things that happened I lived free of worries until I was about 12 years old, but at that point, life changed drastically.

I lost my siblings and my mother in a power struggle between other clans in the city and was now part of a sinister clan. Alone, lost and forgotten I had to survive in a crazy world. But with my ingenuity and wits, I managed to survive everything and escape hell. This has turned me into the man I am today.

My mother was killed in the water trying to save me. Ever since that day, I have hated water more than anything, despite the water being a huge advantage to my race I resented it.

Every time I went into the water I was reminded of what had happened. How weak I was? How I let my mom die in front of me without doing anything.

I swore that I would never be at the mercy of someone else, I will become so strong that no one would have the power to threaten the people close to me ever again. I will also get my revenge!
