How could he?
That Bitch!
I picked up the glass of beer in front of me and drank it in one go.
I threw the glass I was holding on the ground as the scene of what happened in the exam entered my head again.
I have worked my ass off to get all of the 150 marks but I was eliminated by the last person I thought would do such a thing!
What have I wasted two days without food or sleep for? Why did I get eliminated by someone I thought was my friend?
Screw it!
I took another glass of beer and drank it in one go.

'What should I do now?' I asked Dyton as I looked at the ceiling of my room.
'You need to get a technique" He replied
'What kind of technique?'
'You need an agility technique a strength technique and a body technique '
'Okay!'
I stood up from my bed and put on my new robes and went out of the room.
I made my way to the 'Dragon Pavilion' where I got my keys.

****Royal Capital, Blare, Dragon Pavilion****
I entered the building and made my way towards where the old lady was, just like before no one paid any attention to anyone else, they were all focused on doing their own things.
I arrived at the front desk, the old lady was still here reading, when I step in front of her she stopped reading and looked at me, waiting for me to tell her what I wanted.

"Do you know where I can find Agility techniques?"
She started to explain to me where all the techniques are located in a cold tone, I could see she was not happy with being here.
After getting what I wanted I left her and made my way towards the first floor.
This building is divided into 4 floors, the first floor is where all the techniques for Mortal rank cultivators are, the second floor has King rank techniques while the third floor has Emperor rank techniques, the fourth floor is off limits, it has Immortal rank techniques and unless you an Immortal it's impossible to enter.
................................
****Royal Capital, Blare, Dragon Pavilion, First floor****
After arriving at the first floor I was stunned, the floor was so big and there were books stacked everywhere, it was like the library on earth, but instead of books, these were all techniques.
The floor was divided into 3 sections.
Each section had a sign over it, the first section was agility techniques, the second was strength techniques and the last one was body techniques.
I ran towards the first section and started to go through all the techniques one by one.
Each technique was brilliant, like the 'Lazy Immortal Dance' it allowed the person who trained in it to be able to move 10 meters with one step, how crazy was that!
Or the 'Phoenix's Perfected Leap' it allowed the person who trained it to jump 20 meters with one step.
Even if the technique is too good to be true what the hell is with the names, 'Perfect Step of the Intelligent Pig' or 'Ancestral Foot of the Monster' hell they even have 'Horse Penetrating Foot Step' whoever named these have one fucked up fantasy.
*sigh*
'There so many to choose from, which one should I go with?' I asked Dyton

'Go with the Sidestep Sprint'
Hmm, I looked at the 'Sidestep Sprint', this allowed whoever trained in it to create two copies of yourself for a short amount of time, in order to train in this you need to first have a very strong body as it will take a toll on your body and secondly you need to learn the 'Sidestep' which allows the person to move 5 meters with one move.
The 'Sidestep' is considered very weak on its own but with the 'Sidestep Sprint' it can be considered part of the top 10 mortal rank agility techniques according to this book.
To learn this you need to first be at the fourth stage of the mortal rank, and to learn the 'Sidestep Sprint' you need to be at the ninth stage of the mortal rank.
'Are you kidding me? I need to be at the ninth stage, I just entered the third stage!' I yelled at Dyton
'You are forgetting that your not a human, you're a Super Divine Beast, your body is comparable to a ninth stage mortal'
'Oh, that's right!'
'Hold on, it says I need to be at the ninth stage, not comparable to a ninth stage?'
'Nha, as long as your body is comparable to a ninth stage you are able to learn it'
'That's good, let's get the other techniques!'
I took the 'Sidestep' and 'Sidestep Sprint' with me and went to the strength techniques section.
I was yet again stunned by the names of the techniques, what the fuck is 'Unknown Guardian Touch', 'Drunk Uncounted Silences Palm', 'Thrust of the Leaf' and as if they were not bad enough we got 'Dark Toes of the Immortal' : What the fuck!
After reading through a lot of techniques I went with the 'Thirty Rabbits Sword Thrust' because it was the only one with swords.
I moved to the Body techniques section and once again I was stunned by the names of the techniques, just who the hell names a technique 'Body of the Holy Grasshopper ' -_-
After going through a lot of techniques with Dyton we decided on the 'Arrogant Groom's Body'
I left the first floor with a headache.
......................................
****Royal Capital, Blare, Dragon Pavilion****
I went to the front desk and gave the techniques I wanted to the old lady with my emblem.
"You can't take two techniques of the same section" The old lady said and told me to choose between the agility techniques and I went with the 'Sidesteps' first I would come back for the other after I am done with it.
She told me that I had to return these within 3 months.
I left the Dragon Pavilion and took a deep breath before a smile was seen on my face and I headed to my room where I started to learn the techniques.

Errant
Amateur fighter Kestril only remembers two things about her mother's disappearance: a locket and the promise she made to keep her brother safe. That promise is all she thinks of when she jumps in front of a car to save her brother. She expects death, but instead wakes up to a looming clock tower, cobblestone streets, and dead soldiers wearing lockets just like her mother's. Kess's locket marks her as one of the Errant- people with control over dimensions and time, and the same people rumored to have captured her brother across the city. When a military group mistakes Kess for their enemy, she swears allegiance at gunpoint, hoping to search for her brother from within. Inside, Kess finds an even darker side of the city bent on killing the Errant-using any means necessary. When the murder of an important Errant soldier throws the city further into civil war, Kess uncovers a plot that could undo everything she's fought for so far. The only problem? Her brother is at the head of it. Trapped between her promise to her mother and her morals, Kess finds little use for her theatrical brawling of the past. She can only hope to find her brother before it's too late. || Update: 4/24/2022 Have decided to rewrite this novel, but will continue to post chapters of this draft, possibly with commentary. The Hellish Incursion Part I: Demon Dogs Conspiracy
When one journey starts, there is always one with a different path. Lilac Rezmirn thought that she would lead a dull life while waiting for her brother, Hans Rezmirn, to return with the glory and fame for being one of the pioneers who discovered a new land. However, she did not expect her life to follow a different adventure. Her fate was set when she met a lupine stranger who didn't look and act like a typical Lycan. She soon found that this lupine stranger, who had limited knowledge of her language, was in fact a hellhound, a humanoid lupine dweller of the Underworld in the Hollow Earth. Meeting the hellhound proved to be the start of her adventure. She met companions along the way, and she slowly discovered that the hellhound she met was involved in something sinister, which would undoubtedly changed the Continent of Ternor forever. This is the story of Lilac Rezmirn, sister of Hans Rezmirn, and Ifrit Schelkz, the lupine hellhound from the Underworld. The Hellish Incursion is a spin-off story set in Ternor which started several weeks after Hans and his friends reached Main Continent. It is part of the same continuity with 'Light Bane', but can be enjoyed without referring to the other series other than knowing who Hans Rezmirn is.
