****Estra, Tosa. Dyer Castle****
****Vlad POV:****
'You are by far the weirdest person I have ever met' Dyton said.
I laughed a little before a thought hit me.
'Don't you get bored staying in that cave all day long?'
'It really is boring which is why you must get stronger faster so you can use me'
'I was wondering how you came to be. As a scientist, I am really interested, you know'
'I was birthed by the world'
'How does that work?'
'Well, I just came to be'
I was really irritated. I didn’t know if it was because of Dyton's lack of curiosity or the fact that this world really holds many secrets.
I have been really open minded for a while now and I must say that there are a lot of things that don't make sense. Hell, this world goes against everything I’ve ever believed. But, if you think about it, if earth had magic and all this cultivation stuff, won't it turn into a world like this?

The only problem that has been on my mind ever since I came to this world is that I just came out of nowhere. I don't believe that I didn't have any parents in this world despite the fact that I know that this body is not really mine.
I believe that this body belonged to someone who died and after their soul left their body, I just hijacked it somehow. That's the only explanation I can come up with right now. It seems that there are a lot of things that I need to research.
I stopped my steps and looked at the carriage in front of the Dyer castle. it was exactly the same carriage as the one I saw back then.
My heart started pounding really hard again.
*Sniff* *Sniff*
I smelled the same scent that was on the girl in the carriage. I moved towards the entrance of the Dyer castle and saw the girl again. She had her back turned towards me, but both the radiating silver hair and the scent gave her away. I hastened my steps as I moved closer towards her.
"Vlad! Good timing!"
I heard Aaron's voice come from in front of her as he waved at me.
The girl turned around and her hair was dazzling as the sun rays hit them. Her deep blue eyes looked at me and her face was expressionless. Once her gaze met mine, her eyes winded in surprise before they went back their original size.
I moved in front of her and didn't say anything.
"Vlad, this is Noe. She’s the daughter of my father's friend and she will also come with us to the Blare Sect" Aaron said as he introduced her.
"Noe, thi-"
I pushed him away and took her hand "My name is Vlad Walker, my lady" I shook her hand.

"What are you doing?" she said in a cold tone.
She looked at me with a disturbed expression. Looking at her made my heart skip a beat. ‘A cold one? Just my type!’
"I just wanted to introduce myself. This is how we greet each other where I am from" I said with a smile as I let go of her hand.
With an expressionless face, she went back into the carriage.
"Why did you push me?" I heard Aaron's voice next to me.
I looked at him "You were in the way!"
He looked at me with a confused expression "In your way?"
"Yes! The long awaited meeting with my fair lady"
He looked at me then at the carriage then back at me. He then burst into laughter.
"What is it?"
"I know that you have been captivated by her beauty, but I will tell you that there is no point in wooing her. She isn’t interested in men whatsoever and she is more of an ice queen with her expression" he said as he shook his head.
"Don't worry! I have my ways!" I said which stunned him.
He returned to his normal self "Do what you want" he shook his head.
"So, did you get anything? We’re leaving now"
"Wait, right now?"
"Yes, we had a change of plans because of Noa's arrival so we have to leave early"
"Then, what about my stuff?"
"You don't have anything and besides, you can get clothes at the Capital" He said as he moved towards a carriage.
We both went in a second carriage and sat down. The carriage was being pulled by a brown horse all by itself. These horses are a lot stronger than the ones at earth.
I looked at Aaron who was sitting in front of me.
"How long do we have to wait until we reach the Capital?"
"The trip will take about 1 month. The distance from Tosa to the Capital is really great"
I nodded and sat back.
[Somewhere in Tosa]
There was a white & black haired old man with a gray beard standing on top of a building looking into the distance as if he could see through everything. His gaze alone made the air tremble.
"Is he it?"
Another old man was standing next to this one, but unlike the other old man, this one had white hair and beard and was about 160 cm tall with his back slightly bent. He looked at the old man.
"He is the one who took the sword. The principle told us that someone will come for the Sword and that person would be the one who will make our sect glorious once more" the old man said and he vanished from where he was standing.
The other one also vanished and soon night descended on the world.

Thaellis A Kingdom Down Under
A kingdom down under, once it had prospered, expanded, built, and conquered until all that they thought of worth was theirs. Peace ruled for a time the people absorbed in their own self-satisfaction. But eventually, old urges returned. Conquest called, though this time there was no outside outlet to turn it towards. So in ages so long and distant the memories most couldn’t recall, the kingdom turned upon itself. War raged for many years, no one coming close to being considered a victor, it appeared that this self-destruction would go on till nothing was left. Many if given the chance would have claimed that would have been a mercy for this kingdom and its people. For as they killed, and butchered each other over things they already had. Vibrations traveled through rock and stone guiding things best left alone. Creatures came things of horror armed to the teeth with claws, fangs, and armor. Cities fell and were consumed not even the bones of individuals remained, for these creatures hunger knew no limits, had no end. The kingdom rallied together once more, what was left, they fought and fought but their Nightmare had no end. Their greatest, brightest minds worked their magic, carved into stone. Wards they called them, this would keep their Nightmares away. They abandoned attempts to fight and focused on walling every surface of the kingdom with these Wards. It worked mostly, an illusion of peace returned, one that crumbled often, but it was better than before, it was a bearable hell now. So here we start our story as ages have passed for a walled-off kingdom, hunted by a never-ending Nightmare. With a poor but deserving soul born into this world.

Zeke Herald, Goblin Slayer
Zeke wakes up inside a small cavemouth, no memories or direction, just the will to live. Also, he's smack dab in the middle of a forest that's teeming with ugly little goblins. The only good goblin is one with a sword sticking out of it, as my father used to say. I tried to incorperate LitRPG elements. I'm only recently introduced to the genre, but I find it really fasinating! So intrigued I even started writing a little story expressing my joy of all things numerical! This story has a focus on hardwork and deliberate progression, no magical deus ex machinas here sorry.
