His battle against the Stenchling caused several messages to go off, and now that it was over he had time to fully examine them.

Scanning through the messages, Shin was impressed that a single kill had such rewards considering his Maturity was 1 fending off a 72. The thing that really got his attention was Soul Rearrangement I, the description was very scarce in explaining the skill and he suspected he hadn't discovered everything to fully understand it yet. Something he thought he would ask Sen about later. Which reminded him of the advancement in Clairvoyant, now being able to see Sen even if only in ethereal form was something he was looking forward to. Closing the messages Shin looked around the room, something had changed while he was reading the messages.
It started to dim, staring at the gem Shin could see the light dwindling little by little as time passed on, and worried if he would make it out of the labyrinth before he was left in the dark. Although he had power, he wasn't a fool and knew he wouldn't survive very long in the dark, he could only use his skills a hand full of times before his SE was empty. Then he really would be completely defenseless against the hoards of stenchlings that hid in the corners of the tunnels.

Examining the Gem he could see the information.
Essence of a Vibrant Gem Durability: 3/100 Abilities: Cleanse any illness Description: A mutated meteor reinforced by magma, rock is of unknown origin.
Assuming when the durability reached 0 the light would go out, he had little time to sit around. Resting in the purified pond had healed a majority of the wounds left by the Alpha Stenchling, however, his ribs still ached when he moved. On the other hand, the dead stenchling had contributed to his survival, throwing the nibbled bones to the side Shin rose out of the water before opening his My User,
Name: Shin A.Venge Title: One who Denies Death (Active)

From his new stat's he had gained 5 every maturity level, and for each point in intelligence, he gained 10 additional SE, which increased his spirit pool. His wisdom contributed towards the rate his SE regenerated, each point adding .5 to his regen. Dismissing the screen his screen he contemplates his option of escape before a familiar tone begins to speak,
"What are you still doing here? Your running out of time, are you asking for a death wish?"
Turning around a ghostly figure, shrouded in blue stands before him. It was as if cold flames had enveloped the body and become one with the body. "And how exactly do I get out of here? It's not like there's a door I can just walk through," replying in a grumpy tone."Why don't you just show me the exit?"
The figure folds it's arm and twists its head in an annoyed manner, "I can't leave my body for too long without a vessel, I'm not strong enough to possess a body and even if I were you're the only person down here with SE. And no offense but I rather be dead then walk a day in your shoes, pun intended." The bite on her tongue actually hurt a little, but he couldn't blame her his luck wasn't something most people had. He hadn't realized she would be stuck down here, forced to live an eternity amongst the stenchlings and it left a bad taste in his mouth.

Then a thought occurred to him, "Does the vessel have to be human?"
Although the face was hidden in the blue wisps he could see the disgust on her face," If you think I'm going to jump into one of those mutant freaks, then your dumber then I thought." The words spat out with contempt.
Rolling his eyes Shin shines the gem towards her, "This gem could be a vessel it contains SE although the durability is low it would be better than staying in this decrepit place."
Looking at the gem she ponders the idea for a moment, "I'm a spirit I don't know if that small gem can contain me If it shatters my soul will be lost, but I suppose it's worth the risk." Placing her hand over the gem the spirit begins to resonate, the blue flames burning brightly before shrinking into the small gem. The gem began to alter from white to blue as it twitched back and forth before completely turning dark.
Standing in the dark room Shin's pulse began to rise as the sounds from the Stenchlings could be heard far off in the distance. His mind begins to race, thinking of a way to escape or a light source so he could defend himself. The gobbles from the stenchlings begin to enter the room from all directions and fear begins to take hold in Shin, panicking he raises his hands in opposite directions before unleashing purify.
The light resonated in a circle around him illuminating throughout the room, hundreds of stenchlings staring in his direction waiting for the light to fade before they begin their attack, running towards then jumping in the water the light continues to surround him before beginning to fade. His heart begins to beat in his ears as the Stenchlings try to enter the water before reverting back to fish.
The room pitch black splashes can be heard all around the pond as the stenchlings close in on him, desperate he releases the skill again, illuminating the area and purifying the water around him, dozens of stenchling begin to glimmer as they splash in the water reverting back to their original forms, yet not putting a dent in the army that stood before him
"It's not killing them" he mutters to himself
Being in the water only prolonged the inevitable his SE now dropping just below 50% Shin was running out of options fast. Backing away towards the waterfall the glow from his skill began to dwindle yet again, the water crashing near him from the waterfall that leaked from above. Looking up a grin crept along his face before the darkness one again embraced the room. Gobbles filled the room as they Stenchling plunged in the water excitedly flying towards their prey until the familiar light appears.
Yet this was different more powerful, grinning ear to ear Shin stood in the waterfall with his hands pointed towards the ceiling, the concentrated blaze blinding anyone to set their sights upon it. "I think it's about time I got out of this place." He states before unleashing the energy through the waterfall and into the ceiling, the beam cutting through the earth causing the entire roof to collapse and water began to flood the area scooping up everyone and thing along with it.
