Ava nods her head while giving away her smile as she receives the gold pouch from Janet. After they receive a shock from the sudden news posted at the notice board, Faron decides to momentarily forget about it and deal with their current situation first. Janet pulls both Faron and Ava towards the receptionist first in order to complete the red fire flower quest that they had taken.

After splitting the golds, Janet passes Ava's share to Ava in a pouch that she had prepared.

"What's your plan after this Alice?"

Faron steps forward while giving Ava his bright smile. Ava didn't immediately reply and think for quite some time before opening her mouth.

"I believe, I am still not ready to go out to do quest by myself. Even now, I feel fortunate to have survived the attack previously. Once again, thank you for saving me and inviting me to the party. If not for you and Janet, I might have regret trying to go out solo."

"It's alright Alice. Surprising enough, you are quite quick on your agility. I almost didn't think you were able to dodge the attack from the wolf when you are not able to see them within the dust."

"Eh?"

"What is it? Did I say something..."

"No, nevermind. Forgive me, Faron, I got distracted by the smell from the surroundings." Ava wryly smiles while glancing at her clothing.

Janet sigh as Faron didn't realize what Ava is getting at and pull him back. She tilts her head and whispers to Faron. A few seconds later, Faron's eyes widen as he realizes what Ava is getting at. He offers his apology while scratching the back of his head. After providing some advice to Ava, they proceed to the blacksmith shop.

'Demon, do you know the reason why I was able to dodge the blind attack?'

[Which one?]

'Of course, you don't know. I didn't bring it up because I thought Faron was the one that helps me out, but I was wrong.'

[Is that a joke, or are you serious right now?]

'It's one of my ability was it?'

'Sigh. I guess I am too tired to care about these things. Especially about...' Ava glance towards the big poster that confuses her. What is her father trying to do by closing the kingdom gates earlier? He shouldn't be trying to lock down the kingdom in order to search for her, is it?

'Hey, demon it's inconvenient for me to get water to bathe or do laundry. Do you have a power that allows me to do these things without paying gold for it?'

Ava frown as she comes up to her room to see that the ice that she had placed on the bowl still hasn't fully melted. Not to mention, the water is still cold, and Ava wouldn't dare to use it on her naked skin. She previously had that experience after killing a mental man. At that time, she forced herself to endure the cold water.

'System is there magic that allows my host to be able to bath, clean herself and do laundry?'

Yes demon, it is called life magic. It will cost 50 creation points.

'Phew, confirm on life magic.'

Ava chuckled to herself as she approaches the counter to get herself a meal and request a bucket of hot water so that she could clean herself.

When morning comes, fortunate enough, the magic had been updated, and Ava is able to clean her body and her clothing by just imagining it. When using upon her bloody clothes, particles of dirt and blood slowly float out from the clothes and disappeared completely. She didn't even have to dip it into the water. Similarly when she uses it on herself. She felt refresh every time she used the power. In addition to that, she could smell a strong smell of lavender odor coming out from her body.

The only problem...

'Demon... I have no complaints but cleaning myself without any use of water seems weird to me. I don't think I can get used to it.'

[Why don't you thank your god? Who knows he might allow you to get used to it easier.]

'...'

Ava got dressed and got down to the nearest restaurant to order herself some food for breakfast. In the meantime, they were discussing what she should specialize in. Two things that Connor wouldn't recommend would be someone who uses a physical attack and someone who support another human.

The first reason is that she would need to increase her agility and strength which is hard. No matter what kind of passive ability that he checked, almost all of them increase the stats through percental. Unsurprising enough, all of them needed a massive number of creation points. There are others that enhance the host stats temporarily, but the cooldown isn't worth the troubles.

The other reason is that Ava is a cheat that allows her to spam her skills, putting her in a spot where she heals other people doesn't make any sense. What if the people that she is defending is not strong enough to defeat the enemy. It could take hours or even days before they are able to win the fight.

After much discussion, Connor decided to purchase the ability called distance magic which cost 150 creation points. He once again spent all of his points in order to prepare Ava. It is to ease her fight without making use much of her strength or agility.

Taking advantage of her life magic, Ava kept on using it on herself whenever she feels uncomfortable. Now no matter how hot the surrounding is, Ava is able to endure it as long as she is able to use the power on herself continuously.

While they wait for her power to be updated, she went to the adventurer guild to take a look at the current request on the big black notice board.

There is an absurd amount of request that is not taken down by anyone. Much to anyone dismay, the damn poster is the reason why. Ava is also compelled not to accept any quest. She is curious to know what her father soldiers are tasked to do once sundown. She got out from the adventurer guild and went straight to the west gate which is the nearest to her current location.

It didn't take her long before it is her turn to be allowed to go out. The amount of traffic around the gate is less than usual. On the other hand, the number of guards guarding the entrance had increased. In a glance, Ava feels that the guards had been tripled. It made the people around pressured. For some reason, it made Ava feel more guilty. She hopes that she is not the reason for her father actions.

After Ava bypasses the gate, she walked to the longer route to the forest. She intends to practice her ability without anyone else seeing it. At the same time, she wouldn't dare to advance inside the forest. Instead, she lingers around and continues to converse with Connor. The different ways she could do with her power.

Connor kept making Ava surprise with his ideas that blow away her common sense. Using ice as a foothold and a mirror is just one of the many things that kept their conversation flowing.

A few hours later.

Distance magic has been updated.

'Finally.'

Ava closes her eyes while she does her deep breathing in order to calm herself down. It works for her as her abilities will consume and exhaust her mental condition. A simple reason that she is able to invoke as many spells as she wants. The only take away is her concentration.

'It will be easier to get creation points if not for how weak she is currently. She needs more experience, but there's no one to trust. Does she needs to solo for now?' Connor pending thoughts kept him company.

Meanwhile, Ava has started her training. As she continues to practice, her ice ability begins to turn shape. A piece of true solid ice. Not like the ones that she had made before. A nice form. Smooth surface without hollows within it. Her improvements also contribute to how the temperature in the surrounding drops.

It didn't take long for Ava to realize that even though she is able to touch her ice without getting frostbite, she can get affected by the cold atmosphere that her ability is causing. In response, Ava also discovers that she is able to erase her ability instantly. Good addition for her to stay low. She is not allowing anyone else to know that she is related to Harry.

Ava was too engrossed in practicing that without Connor reminding her about sundown, she would have to stay outdoors. Rushing back to the gate, Ava is shocked to see how crowded the entrance was. Only after she arrived that she realizes that all of the people here are in the same predicament as she was. They too almost forgot about the time as they go around to accomplish their task or traveling to the kingdom as a merchant.

It took quite long before Ava was able to get inside the kingdom without any fuss. The reason why they got hold up was that of the questions, asked by the guards. Ava also spotted one of her father commanders. Who she unconsciously panic and break her eye contact when he glances at her.

She scolds herself for making herself suspicious for nothing. Fortunately, the man himself didn't think much of it and let her go. Besides, other ladies stood by and stare at the commander while giving him a wild look on their faces.

Also, Ava was one of the few lucky ones that manage to arrive in time. As the gate closes, she heard voices of complaint from outside. Turning her head away from the entrance, she proceeds to one of the restaurants nearby.

Before getting in, Ava invokes the life magic on herself. She endured doing it while she was out so that she wouldn't be suspected of anything.

"Good evening miss, table for 1?" A teenage lady wearing a white apron approaches Ava. She smiles as she creates eye contact with Ava.

"Yes please."

'Steak Lenalee' is one of the few recommended restaurants by the adventurer guild. It is a two-story building that can hold a maximum of two hundred customers. Ava loves the food the moment she tried it the other day. She immediately became one of the regulars that come to order her usual.

'Here it is!' Ava glances down to look at her plate. The steam and the delicious smell distract her from any other thoughts. She starts to drool while unconsciously swallowing her saliva.

At a glance, Connor summarizes the food as the manga meat. One long bone with a ton of meat in the middle. It is also accompanied by a brown sauce which is still sizzling away. As a noble, Ava hasn't seen such delicacy till now. The appearance and the smell pique her interest which resulted in her current situation. She is addicted to it.

[Don't overeat, you'll get fat]

'Shush. This will be my last time eating it.'

[That's what you said previously too.]

Ava didn't reply Connor as she is occupied tearing the meat apart from the bone. Surprisingly the meat is so tender that she can tear it out with her bare hands without using much strength. As the meat touches her tongue, it starts to melt unconditionally. It isn't even needed for her to chew the food as it easily slides down from her throat.

'I wish I have a body.' Connor exhales while being envious of Ava.
