《The Abandoned Disciple》Chapter 19

“Emergency! Emergency! A Golden Eyed snake beast is attacking the sect!” An alarm rang out notifying the entire sect.
“What! This is impossible!”
“Hurry, summon all the elders!”
The appearance of such a beast affected the entire sect. Many of the junior disciples were scared witless and attempted to run. However, it was already too late.
Snow began to descend from the sky.
This phenomenon made everyone stop. Many of the cultivators were astounded by the event while the elders were completely terrified.
To be able to affect the composition of the water in the air to affect the entire sect, how powerful must one be?
“Ahhhh, sister Pao shattered!” a female scream was heard.
“NO! Hel…” a young boy cultivator tried to cry out for help but froze solid before he could finish.
Blood curdling screams ran through out the sect.
All around, young and old, the weaker cultivators who were touched by the snow froze solid before shattering.
The elders and sect master who saw this scene all had ashen faces.
“Senior, please tell me how we have offended you! Whatever it is, we will make amends!” The voice resounded throughout the sect. It came from the current sect leader, Iris Isa.
The giant snake descended and came before the group of elders and the current sect leader.
Immediately, almost all of the elders were shocked to see the second daughter of the previous sect leader, Pascal. There were even a few who recognized Relic.
Some of the elders present had been with the sect for many years and have even seen Pascal grow up as a kid. Naturally, there would be a few who recognized the kid who had followed her for many years.
“H-how can this be.” One of them stumbled as he spoke.
Kiba saw Relic and immediately felt a little relieved. Without worrying anymore, he made a run for it, thinking he was going to live through this ordeal.
Yet, Pascal then raised her arm and pointed towards him.
A deep sigh could be heard from Relic.
whoosh
A frost spear penetrated Kiba’s heart.
“Why… I thought you said I could liv…..” He left the world with an expression of unwillingness
“How is this possible? Pascal can you still be alive?!” Iris asked.
“You all, I thought I knew you back then, but then….” Her tears began to fall. Many of these elders immediately showed expressions of guilt. A beautiful woman like Pascal was not something that easily comes by.
“Don’t worry master, disciple will take care of it.”
He waved his arm and mist blotches began to appear throughout the sky. These blotches then congealed to form frost spears. Tens of thousands of frost spears pointed towards the group of elders and the sect master.
Their faces instantly paled in fright.
“Pascal, what do you think you are doing! Call off your disciple! Do you want to completely exterminate our family sect? You can still salvage this; we can rule this sect together!” Iris cried out desperately.

She knew the chances of her and the elders winning against Relic was very slim. Maybe if her father were her, there would be a chance but the current situation was bleak.
Pascal looked at he sister, memories played through her head. Out of all the years they had known each other, there was perhaps maybe a year or two which it was positive while the rest were filled with anxiety and grief brought on by her and their father.
“Sister, I’ve always looked up to you and always wanted to be like you. Why did have you always treat me with such contempt?” The question she had long ago buried in her heart finally had the opportunity to surface.
“Why…..” Iris’s face had an awkward expression.
“IT’S BECAUSE YOU ARE BORN FROM THE BLOOD OF TRASH!” her face contorted as she pointed to Pascal. “IF IT WASN’T FOR YOUR SLUT OF A MOTHER, FATHER WOULD NEVER HAVE LEFT MY MOTHER AND WE COULD HAVE LIVED HAPPILY.” Now that things had gone this far, she let out everything she thought.
“YOU ARE JUST A MISTAKE AND YOU NEEDED TO BE PUNISHED LIKE YOUR MOTHER!”
“What do you mean!” Pascal creased her eye brows. Her mother had suddenly disappeared one day without saying a word and this had always confused her. She always thought it was because she didn’t want her so she left and never came back.
“Since you already came this far I guess it doesn’t matter if I say it. After your whore mother seduced father away, my mother pulled some strings to kidnap and cripple your mother. After that, she sent her to a brothel far away where she spent all her time servicing men. “Iris laughed manically.
“It’s quite funny that the daughter would follow the same path as her mother.” She then turned to Relic.
“You guys did it right? You both are already less than the lowest of creatures. Your illicit master – disciple relationship is truly disgusting. ” She spat on the ground before proceeding into a smile.
“How’s it feel Relic, having a broken women which slept with countless men. She was used merely as a toy for fat and disgusting mortal men. Was that used up hole to your liking?”
The temperature was already cold when they arrived, but at this moment, it felt like they were in the middle of a cold storm. Even some of the elders began to chatter their teeth.
“There is no way out of this, we must kill to live!” Iris instantly summoned out her domain in which streaks of lightning radiated from her body. It radiated to the other elders, letting everyone feel energized.
“Kill!” They all shouted
Iris threw out 108 purple needles at Relic.
“Lightning serpent!” The needles transformed into miniature serpents as they flew through the air.
The other elders also did not hold back.
Five of the elders immediately broke their jade slips. The entire sect shook and a giant mountain split. A bronze shaped creature arose. It looked to be a cross of a dragon and a ferocious wolf.

The bronze creature let out an ear piercing roar and jetted towards Relic. Every step it took shook the ground and split the earth.
Everyone else used their various treasures and magical attacks and released them towards Relic.
“Freeze.” Everything stopped.
The falling snow stopped in place. The attacks aimed at Relic remained motionless in front of him. Everyone stood still like lifeless statues.
No one was aware of time freezing except for two people. One was Relic while the other was Iris.
“Wha-what is this! How can a domain be this strong?” She was barely able to move with the help of her own domain.
Relic slowly walked passed the onslaught of attacks and made his way in front of Iris. His eyes radiated a deep blue colour which stared down at her.
“You have the Dao seed!” She could not believe her eyes.
His hand moved faster than what she could see. Instantly his hand grabbed onto her face.
“Whash yush fink yur dewing?” she tried to cry out.
He took out a small pill and shoved it into her mouth. Under the forceful guidance of his hand she was forced to swallow the pill.
Instantly a warm feeling radiated from her body and golden light surrounded her body. She immediately felt like she was invincible, as if she was eternal and would never die.
The pill she swallowed was none other than the pill of immortality. It allowed one to transcend the 5 elements and would no longer be under the influence of death. Natural laws could no longer affect her. If not for the existence of the Dao seed, it would likely be rated as the number one heavenly divine item.
Even if all she had was a single drop of blood, she would still be alive and could recreate her entire body.
She did not know why Relic made her swallow the seed but she now felt invincible and was no longer scared of him.
However, she suddenly saw him curve up a sinister smile.
Her expression suddenly froze as she imagined what he would do to her.
He took out a blood red spear and forced opened her mouth. The spear lifted up in the air and was shoved down her throat.
Her eyes widened in disbelief and gurgling sounds could be heard. Her body spasmed out of control as the spear slowly went down her throat.
“K….ill m..eee” Her face writhed with pain.
The spear did not go down fast. It inched down her body, slowly destroying her organs in the process.
Sploosh
The final sound rang out as the spear made it through her body out the end. Her body was fully impaled in the worst way imaginable. Suddenly, the spear began to glow. Blood drained from her face and body as the blood rushed towards the spear.
Her blood was forcefully extracted from her, making the process unimaginably painful. She tried to scream and let out wails of pain but the pain was too much for her to even make a sound. She wanted to collapse and faint but her body was now that of an immortal and did not allow her to do so.
The spear continually absorbed her blood which her body would then produce more of. The process would continue until her blood ran out, but with an immortal body, it would consistently produce blood. She was left no with strength to even pull out the spear.
Her eyes filled with despair, seemingly pleading to Relic to let her go.
His countenance remained the same as he unfroze the area.
Every attack passed through the space Relic had stood in moments ago.
Everyone blinked in confusion. However, they all gasped and shivered in fear when they saw Iris who was impaled by the spear yet still twitching. Her eyes rolled up to the back of her head and gurgling sounds could constantly be heard.
Distracted by the scene, the frost spears came crashing down. Within the domain, no one was able to dodge and even their protective treasures could only shatter. Holes littered the bodies of the elders and all left this world with an expression of unwillingness.
The bronze creature now stood in front of Relic. It raised its paw to send out an earth shattering strike. However, without even shooting it a glance, a cone shaped ice pillar rose beneath the creature, impaling it through the stomach. The light in its eye went dim and its body went limp.
Snow gently descended from the sky, covering the sect in a blanket of snow. Aside from the noise from Iris, the entire sect was deathly silent.
Pascal was completely shocked. In one moment she saw Relic facing against 15 people and a giant creature. In the next, everyone was dead and her own sister had been impaled. She looked to her own sister who was gesturing her to help her. However, Pascal did not even give her a second glance.
There was nothing left to be said and their goals had not changed. Relic jumped onto the snake’s head and embraced his master. “Did you wait long?”
“No, and thank you.” She returned the hug as the giant snake ascended and traveled to their next destination.
The aura of death around them remained the same, only now, he had several streaks of white in his hair.
Snow continued to fall, encasing Iris within it. Ice slowly formed around her and encased her in a coffin of ice in which she was alive to continuously feel pain. Those who had not ascended to an immortal would find it hard to break her out of this coffin.
