《Souls Hero Academia》Chapter 29: From Zero t a Hundred (3)

"Come in, come in," a voice from behind the door prompted Izuku to enter the room. The door opened, leading to a sight of a white-furred animal hybrid. "Now, sit down. You wanted to meet me?"
Izuku took a seat from across the table. A little while later of trying to get comfortable in his seat did Izuku relax and direct his full attention towards the white-furred animal hybrid.
"Principal Nezu, I have a... proposal to make for the Sports Festival," Izuku ignored the sudden cease of movement from the principal, his ever-present grin still on display for everybody to see.
"Hmm... A proposal you say?" Nezu hopped off his seat and headed towards the side of the room. Within that part, a table was laid with a pile of paperwork on top of its desk, its staggering amount a look into the principal's ever worrying job. "What kind of proposal? As you can see, various other proposals are sent to me from our sponsors, which in turn dictates how the Sports Festival goes."
Nezu walked back to his highchair and climbed atop it, his eyes no longer held mirth and amusement, but instead frustration and disappointment.
"It may come off as aggravating as it sounds like, but U.A. would just be another school without said sponsors," Nezu leaned back into his chair, a myriad of emotions passing through eyes as Izuku gleamed through dead eyes.
"This is the reason why I wanted to make this proposal in the first place," Izuku motioned to the pile of paperwork. "Something is telling me that the Age of Heroes is coming to an end, and no, I'm not referring to the retirement of All Might."
"Is this about your memories from the cursed place?" Nezu propped himself back up, his elbows resting on the table as he focused on Izuku's eyes. "Or is it from the USJ incident?"
"Both, actually," Izuku admitted with a sigh. "I've been having visions, one with a future where no form of life walks among the Earth. You may not believe me, but based on evidence alone, you know I am correct."

Nezu pondered to himself the harsh and very controversial topic Izuku decided to bombard him with. He was right, the pieces of evidence were all there: The viewing, as designated by the students, the unknown Villains, or as Izuku called them, Heroes of a forgotten era who sacrificed everything to protect those they cherished, and most of all, Izuku himself.
His very existence is an anomaly this world is better off without, in Nezu's opinion. He alone could decide whether to burn the entire world or nurture it into a brighter future.
"... Very well," Nezu conceded to the Undead being in front of him. "Tell me, what would you like changed in the Sports Festival."
"Is it possible to let the events focus solely on combat?"

"AND NOW! THE MOMENT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR! GIVE IT UP FOR THE HERO STUDIES! CLASS 1-A AND 1-B TAKE THE STAGE!"
Izuku and the rest of the Hero Studies Program walked out the tunnel with their head held high, although it could be said that some others would like to be anywhere but there currently, namely: Mina Ashido and some others who were still traumatized by the USJ incident.
The stadium erupted into cheers, though, not to the extent of an Olympic event. It was because of covering up the USJ incident that only a significant amount of people attended the event personally. It was mostly the Second-Years and the Third-Years that drew the most attention of the populace due to how entertaining it is.
For the most part, the First-Years were no slouches either, but comparing them to the other years was like comparing a toddler to an adult.
There was a reason why most First-Year events lasted either too quickly, or too long.
"NEXT! THEY'RE AMBITIOUS, THEY'RE RELENTLESS, AND MOST OF ALL, THEY WON'T STOP GUNNING FOR THE HERO CLASS! GIVE IT UP FOR THE GENERAL COURSES! CLASS 1-C, 1-D, AND 1-E!"
As the group of Hero students continued onward towards the center of the stadium, the next batch of students entered the stadium through a different tunnel, all of them glaring at their Hero Study counterparts while wearing the same PE uniform as them.

"IF YOU ALL THINK QUIRKS ARE EVERYTHING, THINK AGAIN! WITH WITS, SMARTS, AND INTELLIGENCE WITH STRENGTH ENOUGH TO LUG AROUND HEAVY MACHINES, IT'S THE SUPPORT COURSE! CLASS 1-F, 1-G, AND 1-H!"
The moment the Hero Studies reached the center, a new batch of students entered the arena, this time, all of them lugging around some kind of contraption to use in the event.
"AND LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST, THESE STUDENTS WOULD BEAT YOU ANYDAY AT MATH, AND MATH, AND ESPECIALLY MATH, LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE BUSINESS COURSE! CLASS 1-I, 1-J, AND 1-K!"
With this final announcement, the rest of the students of the First-Year petered in through another tunnel entrance. Instead of the usual P.E. uniform of U.A., they were instead dressed in smart-looking clothes, the type a businessman would wear.
Once all the students were in their place at the center of the arena, Midnight, who was now the main center of attraction, mainly to the males, brought out a whip and smacked it to the ground, hard. This caused most people to jump at the sound of a crackling whip.
"Now that I have your attention without it being in the gutter," a bunch of females glared at their male company who shied away from them, "let me officially announce the start of the Sports Festival with a bang."
A bunch of explosions lit up the morning sky along with the roar of the crowd.
"Now, onto the first list of things, a speech!" Midnight licked her lips, then followed it with a crackling snap from the whip which she held.
'She's not bad at using that,' Izuku recalled the times he used the whip in Lordran. There was a greater number of times he hit himself with the whip instead of the enemy, which prompted him to drop using it altogether.
"From our top student from the Entrance Exams, Midoriya Izuku!"
This got the attention of everybody in the stadium. They all wondered who the top scorer of the exam was, and now they were going to see him in the flesh.
Izuku took it as the signal to move, so he moved through the crowd of students who parted to give way to him.
He walked up the stage then grabbed the microphone from Midnight's hand. He scanned the crowd, students and audience alike. All of them were waiting for his so-called speech.
So, he gave them one.
"Git Gud."
With that single phrase, Izuku returned the microphone towards a stunned Midnight as he retreated to his original spot, amongst the stunned crowd of students, while Aizawa was at his spot on the commentator's seat giving him a look of approval.
Everything was silent until Midnight decided it was best to continue the event instead of waiting around in silence like a moron.
"W-well then, with the speech done, if that ever was a speech, we can now commence the first event for the Sports Festival! Everybody excited?"
Midnight snapped the whip back at the ground and licked her lips seductively towards the audience, causing no small amount of nose-bleeding among the crowd.
"Allow me to direct your attention to the Jumble-o-Tron to the side of the stadium," Midnight pointed at the finger, with most of the crowd following said finger with... not so Christian thoughts.
"Our first event is where most of the competition will be weeded out, so if you aren't able to advance, then better luck next year," Midnight snapped the whip on the ground once more. "The Hero Business is a dog-eat-dog world and my words of encouragement to you all. Plus Ultra!"
Most of the students yelled in determination, along with the crowd seated in their seats.
The Jumble-o-Tron began spinning. A few seconds later, it stopped and the result was shown for everybody watching to see.

8 300The World Destroyer
---Warning for people with suicidal tendencies--- Life was going well for the rich, intelligent and athletic girl Pacific Hanasaki. But she suddenly decided to commit suicide because of her logical reasoning, “What’s the point of living if you already have what you want?” Yet she didn’t die at all, because Judgment Day has arrived: where God decides who goes to Heaven. He decided that he wants to bring every human to Heaven. There is an exception though, the Sinners: living people who attempted suicide. There is only one way for a Sinner to go to heaven: kill everyone and be the last one alive. In a world where no one is born and everyone will die, the Sinners are tasked to purge the Earth with the help of a companion, Angels, each with different powers. Pacific was given the Angel of Secrets, Raziel. Can Pacific successfully kill everyone and remain alive while other Sinners do the same and hunt each other down? How can she even kill other sinners? Also featuring some of my art. This is my first story so I really appreciate constructive criticism especially because I tried writing such a controversial topic. Thank you.
8 152Right as Rage
Only 15 years have passed since the miscreant god, Villi, stole magic from the gods and gave it to mortals. In response the mortals seem to be doing their best to squander this gift. The Kingdom of Abrune regulates it, the church of the Sacred Hierarchies outright condemns it, but one 'wildman' from across the sea begins his journey after being cursed by it. Vakdragnar's curse manifests when he loses his temper. It has driven everyone he’s ever cared about away from him. Out of options and money, he travels to the city of Tirough and quickly finds himself on the wrong side of the law. He is persecuted despite his intentions to do good. How can you stand against evil if everyone you’re trying to protect thinks you’re the villain? And if this curse is truly a part of him now, what if they’re right? **************************************************************************************************** Right as Rage is a story I’ve been excited to write for some time now. I hope everyone is as excited to read it. This story is going to be told over several arcs, with each arc containing 7-12 chapters, and an interlude or two each. I plan on submitting new chapters once a week on Tuesday evenings.
