《Reincarnated as a Wolf monster in another world?》Part 6: Return to Camp 2

I was very happy right now to say the least. Not only did I kill that bear I also leveled up not once but twice! I was probably smiling right now. I wondered what it looked like. To a human, would it seem more like a snarl than a smile? Humans? I wonder do they even exist in this world? If so how would they react to me? Will I be hunted? I mean I do count as a monster in this world, right? If they attack me will I have to...kill humans? Well, I did just kill that bear...but it was trying to kill me! But they would be trying to kill me too...well whatever! It's not good to do dwell on things I haven't even confirmed exist.
Anyway, It seems I've got a lot stronger. All my skills went up at least a level. ah all except analyze? Poison resistance skyrocketed though. Especially after I got that new perk. I suppose perks are just skills that don't level up. Anyway, what's with this venomous mutation? I certainly don't feel any different.
Due to [Mutation: Venomous] body has begun transforming"
"what, fuck do you mean, has begun transforming?", I say out loud and surprisingly better than before, perhaps due to improved body physique?
"A...UGH...AHHHHHHHH....huh what the hell- uh.....unGH...AHHHHHHH!", "AHHHH...what the hell is happening to-AHHHHHHHHHHH!", I screeched in horrible pain. I could feel my own...fucking bones shifting around to make room for something...something else t-to grow. And then it started fucking growing!
I got up pretty clumsy and nearly fell over. This time I felt a difference. Though it was strangely...familiar. I licked my teeth and instantly felt that they were slightly longer and curved inward...like a snake's. Wait so do I have snake fangs now? I felt the need to test them out before I noticed something else was different as well. My claws felt different too. I really wanted to test my new body out but I suppose I really don't have the time. Not only did all that screaming make some noise, but I'm sure it's going to attract some other monster. Plus the smell of that bear carcass is certainly not helping. In fact, I can barely resist the urge to consume the thing right now. It smells...so...so..fucking good. And I'm really fucking hungry. I couldn't help but lick my lips.

God Dammit, I can't afford to waste any more time. I quickly run over to the large wolf before I realize that I just fought a bear and was still suffering some slight paralysis although not nearly as bad as before. I walked a bit slowly over to the larger wolf. After a quick observation, I can easily tell that he's probably gonna die. He had broken another leg and cracked his skull from hitting the tree trunk. He was covered in slash wounds and one particularly bad one probably from the attack that sent him flying into the tree trunk before I poisoned the bear. I guess I could take him back but doing that in my current situation would be extremely difficult. Plus unless someone back at camp had the ability to heal him it would be pointless. At this point...really...the only thing I can do is...kill him.
I mean really it would help me, wouldn't it? I got a bit closer. It could get me a level up too. I slowly closed in. Plus I could test my newfound poison. I was standing right above the wolf. Sorry, I know you helped me but really at this point, I don't have another choice. I bit into his neck and attempted to try out my poison. I kinda just knew how to do it. It was so natural. I injected it all via my fangs and watched to see if there was a difference in the large wolf. He stayed still for a couple of seconds before his wounds started to leak blood faster and faster until it hit a cap. It increases bleeding I guess. That works well for someone who primarily attacks physically. I didn't confirm if it killed him or not but at least I knew it did something. I quickly ended the large wolf's life by slitting its throat. Then I turned around and went to the bear. After that, I had to figure out how to decapitate the thing. It took a minute of tough tearing, mauling, and ripping but eventually, I got the damn thing off.

I picked the bear's head up with my teeth and turned around. Then I started my way back to the cave. I had a bit of limp but I should be able to get back pretty easily. I made sure to avoid anything that smelled dangerous though, I did not feel like fighting another beast. On the way, I assumed I'd receive some sort of notification message for a level up but I guess that killing the larger wolf wasn't enough for another level up.
I saw the lake and couldn't help but sigh. I felt pretty tired and wanted nothing more than some shut-eye after all that shit. As I get closer to the lake I smell something that I really don't think I should be smelling. Blood. Despite my limp, I move a bit faster toward the cave. I might be getting worried over nothing though. Some of the other wolves might have returned with some killed prey but there is this feeling I have. The smell is getting stronger as I get closer. Much stronger. Ah! I found the source of the smell... I stare at it in fear. It's the wolf who sent us off on the hunt. Well, his disfigured corpse anyway. He was missing a leg, had several stab wounds covering his body, and what appears to be the killing strike. A huge cut along his stomach exposing his organs.
Then I feel it. Seriously! No NO NO NO! Not again! NOT THAT FUCKING KNIFE! I instantly begin my search for the feeling as I slowly take a step back. Shit, I can't stay here! I turn around and begin to sprint in the other direction as fast as I can dropping the bear's head on the way. Whatever was watching me sprang into action and started sprinting ahead of me before stopping in front of me. And the knife takes form.
"hahaha hahaha HaHaHaHa!", "Looks like I got my fucking answer"
In front of me stood a human. It was holding a sword covered in the blood of what I'm sure is the other wolf's in one hand. In the other, it held the head of an adult wolf.
"You've got to be kidding me!", I screamed in anger.
