Dungeon n. A spontaneously occurring intelligent crystalline life form originating from high concentrations of mana crystals. For further information see ~ types in Encyclopaedia Multiverca.
Cable faced another late night at his gaming rig, with the necessity to get up and go to work the next morning. This is never a good combination, as the day at work is bound to have at least something go wrong without a decent night’s sleep.
If lucky, something minor goes wrong. The kind of thing where your workmates give you a trophy for making the funniest dumbest mistake they ever saw (like putting your lunch in the path of a test beam while working on a big project – only to discover your crispy chicken is really crispy when checking your results).
If unlucky, something on the monumental scale goes wrong – enough to send them screaming and crying as the run in terror, fearing for their lives (like putting a chunk of nuclear fuel in the path of said test beam). Working with sensitive military grade laser weaponry does that.
None the less, Cable enjoyed both his work and his gaming. The gaming fed his addiction and also his ideas for research. It is amazing what can be thought of in game worlds, particularly when there are a few billion minds connected to them and no worries of dying.
So the clock ticked well past midnight, into the wee hours of the morning – only seeing Cable to bed when a the cracks of dawn sound, piercing shafts of light into sensitive retinas. All to soon, the alarm to get back to the daily grind sounds, forcing him out of bed to stop incessant cacophony.
After a quick morning ablution, Cable hit the road in his old Scubaroo. While it may not be the fastest, most comfortable, or largest type of vehicle on the road, it housed enough to get from A to B in with efficiency, relative comfort, and room to take some larger items should they need to be transported. The old girl faithfully started up every time, unlike her master.

There weren’t any meetings with truck-san, nor were there any organisations out to get him. He still died though, by falling asleep at the wheel and crashing into a fixed base street light pole. Dying instantly from blunt trauma and electric shock, he left an ugly picture for his family and emergency services.
There is no life reboot in this world.
So he came to the land of Dystopia, a land of magic, heroes, rogue gods, dragons, dastards and dungeons. Nobody noticed his descent into a mana crystal vein ten klicks from the nearest village.

BattleField - A Never-Ending Nightmare
Twenty-Three million souls. It takes twenty-three million souls to feed the horrors of the Great Beyond for a soul to cross over and land amongst the living. And even then, it would only be a husk of its true self after the whimsical gods of the void got their claws on it. Still, after eons untold, its final crossing shall take place in blood-soaked lands, driving fear into the hearts of its inhabitants. Alistair finds little wrong with himself, that's not considering he somehow was the last living being to have taken part in a battle to decide the fate of the Human world. He remembers walking shoulder to shoulder with his brothers in arms, being showered in the viscera of his closest friends. He also remembers being stabbed by a twelve foot monstrosity as it picked him up with its sharpened blade of a hand, relishing his stunned expression and the soon to be blossoming of pain as it brought him closer to its putrid mouth. And yet, here he stood in a silent battlefield littered with bodies for acres of land. What the hell was he supposed to do now? And equally important, what the hell was he supposed to do with this orb of golden light?!

8 357Crew of the Helianthus
The FL Helianthus is an old ship with a young crew. This is their struggle to keep her running and the bills paid while exploring the galaxy. The newest crew member is an ex-imperial communicator, but there is something off about her. How will she fit in? The year is 2502 AE, and humanity has spread throughout our arm of the galaxy. Across thousands of planets and stations, the Network keeps humanity connected in near real time. Through the Network, factions govern over the masses, gaining power with every station under their control. A tenuous peace exists between the four superpowers curbed only by the sheer bloodshed incurred in the UEE Civil War. To the crew of the FL Helianthus, this news is secondary to figuring out their next resupply. As a freelance ship, they are not tied to any one faction. That means finding work while navigating the dangers of space and diplomacy.
8 105A Well Dressed Wolf
I don't know what to tell you; I never met a god, I never saved kids from speeding trucks, there was no email, no freak lighting storm, no dying in my sleep, no blinding white light at the end of the tunnel. I just blinked and found myself in a very different world and inside a very different body. I might have been put here to be a hero, a paragon of hope, a light for weary souls. To join other superbeings and ultra geniuses in their hypocritical crusade against the darkness…One small problem, I'm not going to be doing any of that.
8 209Mana Pool
Not all is what it seems when an asteroid, coincidently, crashes into the Pacific Ocean on December 21, 2012, bringing forth a mysterious wave of change on the world. The human population slowly transforms into magical beings, pitting everybody against each other on religion and race than ever before. Scott Dunne and Katie Walsh are the newly transformed, called terrans, and must survive to get home. But the earth is not alone. An alien battle group’s member Jaruka Teal is caught in the event and in doing so, the earth more threatening than before, and his friends must find a way to rescue him. It’s up to Jaruka, Scott and Katie to work together and get to safety before the inevitable becomes their fate. What would you do if you have six hours of humanity left?

All he wants is to find a way to win over the girl of his dreams. Will he get his head out of the clouds and save us, or will he let the Earth burn chasing after his heart?
