《My cheat skill sucks》Lightning wolves Suck

Home of the dwarves: Mountain Place.
As we wandered around the forest the road we were walking on gradually disappeared indicating the how we strayed from the main path. The sea of trees blocking our sight and repetitive scenery makes it feel like we are walking in circles.
‘’do… do you know where we are?’’ I ask the gang hoping I'm not the only one who is lost
‘’I thought you knew…’’ Replied I with a concerned look. ‘’You were walking with such confidence I thought we were taking a shortcut’’ he added, glow slightly dimming.
‘’eh, hehe’’ I look away, scratching my- ‘’AAAHH!’’ MY CHEEK!
I double over, crouching while holding my cheek, keeping back the tears and strange warmth. I floats over my shoulder, face wrought with panic and worry ‘’AHH THERE’S SO MUCH BLOOD! ARE YOU OKAY!’’ he screams shaking me back and forth.
My vision swirls and not because of the tears this time ‘’d-don’t~ w-worry~ t-this happens~ all the t-time~’’ I manage to stutter out. He stops shaking me and looks over to side for confirmation.
‘’y-yeah that happens often… b-but don’t worry! He heals up pretty quickly!’’ side confirms, not lessening I’s worry at all.
‘’He…’’ I strokes my head while muttering something~ h-hey! Stop taking advantage of me like that!
‘’A-anyway! Let's just keep walking. We might find something eventually’’ I say, breaking free from his hold and strutting away… only to trip on a stray rock
‘’pfft’’ Dusting myself off and ignoring the suppressed giggles of a certain elf I take a look at the culprit, a silvery rock that glows a little bit. How did I not notice this? ‘’hey identify, tell me about this rock’’
Silverite drop – a special stone that increases the chances of you encountering strange creatures, +luck
‘’oooh pretty~’’ huh? Isn’t this some sort of legendary stone? It even increases my luck and encounter rate! Adventurers would love something like this since their whole job is to hunt rare monsters or something. How the helf did I find this with my short luck? Wait, do I have to carry it around me or does it still work in my inventory? ‘’hey identify, does this stone work if I put it in my inventory?’’
it has to be on your person to work, equip it and you will understand why.
Alright, ‘’hey Side, can you make this rock into something wearable? It's not very big so a belt will do’’ I toss the white stone to side and wait for her to do her crafting magic, ah! ‘’hey I, how good are you at crafting?’’ I asked expectantly, I mean, he Is an elf so there must be some degree of artistic talent right?

With a hearty laugh, I gives me the thumbs up ‘’HAhaha! Not at all!’’ well I guess side continues to be our only crafter. What can he even do other than float and give headpats?
Side finishes the belt, a wooden hoop with a white stone socketed in the middle, I wonder if there are more stones, perhaps ones that give infinite power and if I get them all I can control the universe! Oh wait, it’s a belt and not a glove. Should I name it Deltora then? And with the seven gems of each tribe, I will have the power to fight off the shadow lord! Ahem. I put on the belt and, save for the rough texture, is a perfect fit. White stone glowing in the centre with some room for more things to get socketed over time.
The silvery white stone glows brighter ‘’wow’’, does this mean it’s working? I shrug and continue on forward in that general direction. I mean, I found a cool rock that way so it must be the right direction, right?
Walking along the winding trees we spot a white figure, fur standing on end, eyes red filled with deep hatred and electricity crackling all over its body… it doesn’t look very happy to see us. ‘’hey identify, what is that?’’
Lightning wolf (Grudge) level 67 threat 78% - a wolf born of storms, specializing in speed and lightning type attacks it kills in the blink of an eye or leave you stunned. This one though clearly hates you for some reason. What did you do?
What did I do? Does it have something to do with this rock? No, the look in its eyes says this hatred is something down to the bones. I equip my magicite sword an- DODGE I jump to the left and with a flash of light a burning sensation rips through my right arm ‘’AAAHHH!’’ the unbearable pain stops me from thinking straight, I turn around and look at the wolf 30 meters away with scorch marks on the ground.
My eyes blur as the scolding iron like pain wracks my brain, I notice something familiar in the wolves mouth. Its mouth curved hideously into something like a grin as I make grasping motions with tears streaming down my cheeks. The thing in its mouth is a mangled up, a twig-like lump of meat holding a gleaming sword.
That’s right, it got my arm
Level up
With one massive crunch, the wolf swallows my right arm leaving the sword to clatter as it drops to the ground. Blood pouring from my stump I muster all my strength to charge at the smug wolf. With a look of complete disdain, the lightning wolf turns around and runs.

M-my arm…
Level up
‘’H-HEY! G-GET BACK HERE!’’ I try to catch up but the wolf is too fast, it even goes so far as to look back and laugh at my attempts to catch it.
No. no. no. no! I need more speed! ‘’status!’’ while running I open my status and pour all my unused points into speed boosting it from 50 to 95
With a sudden burst of speed, all the trees around me merge into a hazy blur. The wolf looks back and notices the distance between us rapidly closing, panicking a little it raises its speed further blazing a trail through the forest and leaving me in the dust once again.
‘’D-DON’T GO! AAAAAAAAH!’’ pouring strength into my legs I up the pace, each step leaving deep gouges in the ground and wind whipping everything behind me.
Speed up
I catch a glimpse of the wolf up front, a white blur similar to a heat haze followed by lightning. Running so fast it leaves a trail of fire like it is attempting to run back to the future. NO! I NEED MORE SPEED!
Speed up
The distance between us shortens once more. Just by a little bit, but this isn’t enough! MORE SPEED
Speed up
I'm still not going fast enough! Time to use my trump card! SUCK SUCK SUCK
Speed up
My speed increases up a notch, enough for the wolf to start panicking. Is this how sonic feels when chasing that egg only to be shown how slow he is since EVERYONE IS FASTER THAN HIM
Speed up Total speed 100, Title get: Superhuman speed, Speed +15%
My body suddenly feels lighter, like some chains were lifted and I can zip around like a hummingbird. It didn’t feel like this when I got the strength title.
The wolf panics and sprints, drawing on the power of lightning to increase its speed. The lightning around the wolf all converges into a single streak behind it like it is riding a lightcycle. The bright light burns my eyes but I continue increasing the suck stacks, shockwaves blasting out behind me as I cause craters in the earth with each step. Vision narrowing as I close in on my target.
Speed up
The wolf slows down and a barrel into it at top speed, crashing through multiple trees before tumbling through open ground and forming a crater.
We wake up face to face and glare at one another, I cough out some blood and clutch my stump. Taking a closer look I notice the wolf isn’t doing so well either, with a cut up throat, bleeding stomach and a broken leg, I wonder how it got those wounds. We glare at each other, hatred piling up as blood pours, I CAN’T TAKE IT! I rush over with the last bit of my strength and swipe down my remaining left hand. The wolf also rushes at this time and with a wide mouth pounce while drawing upon the last scraps of the lightning element in its body.
In the final clash, I managed to be just a bit faster and sink my claws into the wolfs shoulder. An ear-splitting explosion erupts right on my face as the wolf blows up with one final smirk, lightning raging through my body and tearing up the ground.
Level up
Vision fading to black as I fall over unconscious.

Hinterland
Simon sincerely believed he was saving Morgan's life when he pushed her off the second-story roof of her family farmhouse. To be fair, his mother was burning it to the ground at the time. But Morgan Mumford, a lonely outcast with a chip on her shoulder and a full skeleton of remarkably unbroken bones, is not particularly convinced of his good intentions. Because the instant he pushed her over Simon also whisked Morgan into the realm of Hinterland: a shadowy world that is a perfect replica of their home town of Coching. But Hinterland is a hungry and dangerous place, where ordinary objects have taken on a life of their own. In Hinterland you might be ambushed by a gang of motorcycles or eaten alive by a duplex. And by god, you run from scissors. Morgan is now trapped in this hostile realm, unable to find a way home. Hunted relentlessly by Aqualung, an evil-minded Buick Skylark with a love for Jethro Tull and hatred for all things on two legs, she is forced to join a ragtag band of fellow castaways to ensure her survival. But the embittered leader of these children has plans of his own, and before long Morgan finds herself swept into his vendetta against Hinterland's imperious ruler: Simon's mother, who commands the living, breathing town to do her bidding and schemes to transform it into something worse than it is now. Something ravenous. It's time for Morgan to decide whether to ditch her new allies and find her own way out of the belly of the beast, or stay and help her fellow outcasts weather the violent feud that brews on the horizon.

Intercessor
"In my defense, I hadn't actually been trying to get hit by a truck." Artemis wakes up alone in a giant futuristic facility with no hint of where she is, how she got here, or what this means. Yet within two weeks, she is shot at with all the guns, a voice is beginning to speak in her head, and she is tormented by a seemingly sentient and possibly trollish space Roomba. Her only hope is Scarlet, another girl who is a complete stranger and almost shot her in the head. Oh, and she has fox ears and a tail. That is possibly worth mentioning. Artemis is not a nerd. She has never heard of the isekai genre, she can't fight worth a damn, and the blue-collar skills she learned at her community college are absolutely useless in a universe where technology is often indistinguishable from magic. She only has one thing going for her: A mysterious ability to interface with highly advanced technology left behind by the Antecessors, the long lost precursor civilization with technology that no one has been able to adequately replicate. Finding herself in a universe where civilizations are locked in an interstellar Cold War, where societies are so stratified that the aristocracy commands fleets of starships while slaves wash clothes with their hands, Artemis decides to run away from it all. She has a ship. She'll find a crew. She'll find a way to make a living at the fringes of civilization, learn how to cope with danger, and survive the affections of a universe where everyone is a cute girl with animal ears and tails. Welcome to Intercessor. AKA Kemonomimi Yuri Space Fantasy. Commissioned by Shaderic. Please leave your sense of shame at the door.
