So I'm a king now…

HOOOOOO all the baboons scream and beat their chest before bowing to their new leader, the baboons bring back the stick throne albeit a much smaller version to fit my stature, I stroll my way over and sit on the throne, its much comfier than you’d think being made almost entirely out of sticks, on the seat part of the throne is an animal skin cushion and its so soft and fluffy I wonder what the materials are,

I doubt identify would tell me even if I ask or it would give me some vague answer in the midst of roasting me so I’d rather not use identify. I rest my back on the throne as some baboons present me with the clothes of the deceased leader, a glowing stick crown and an animal skin cape, ugh fine I guess I have to use it now. I take the ceremonial cape and crown and inspect it ‘’hey identify, tell me about these items’’

I put on the crown and wear the cape over my cloak, the crown is a little bit too big for me so I wear it like a necklace. A wooden necklace coated in blood, thorns, leaves and glows a little, the cape was way too big for me as it drags along the floor for another few meters, oh right I need to check on all the new things I gained along the way ‘’Hey identify, show and explain to me about all the new things I got’’

Can I now change mana? Does this mean I can finally use real magic! I mean, most magic is made through manipulating mana but since I cant do that I have to substitute it with sucking it everywhere. I test out my new power by sucking the mana into a ball then… what now? How do I suck mana into an element? I suck the mana into the wind with a vague image in my head, the mana doesn’t react at all.

I get a clear image of a ball of earth and use suck to mold the mana into that shape, the mana ball changes colour from clear to brown, I couldn’t actually see all this with my eyes but instead ‘felt’ it with my ‘senses’, its a surreal feeling to sense a colour instead of seeing it, I can't really explain what this feels like, that would be like explaining the taste of the number red, you just can't.

The floating mana ball is now a floating earth attuned ball of mana, I increase the sucks on it and it compresses the already compressed mana until it cant go any smaller, the earth mana ball now changes, before it felt like a gas floating around the air but now it feels like an actual solid piece of rock. I open my eyes to find a floating clump of dirt a few meters away from me ‘’I DID IT!!’’ haha! SUCK YOU, GOD! I can use magic now! Albeit a lot more harder than it needs to be but magic is magic nonetheless!

Side congratulates me not knowing why I'm so happy for being able to make a tiny ball, ‘’why are you so happy? I saw you make giant snow walls and snowballs with magic but a tiny earth ball made you jump?’’ she eventually gets around to asking me after I've calmed down enough, uuh what should I say?

‘’i-I'm not very proficient in any magic other than snow and water so being able to use earth now is a very big deal!’’ she tilts her head before realizing something ‘’Ah! I forgot you’re a Beastkin, using magic at all is already a surprise!’’ she walks up and pats my head, hey! The cardboard texture feels weird on my ears, ‘’W-well that’s enough playing king for a day it's about time we head out to that elf city’’

I jump off the throne and start plodding my way to the exit, two baboons block the way and start screaming at me while pointing back at the hut, hmmm what should I do? Should I kill them? But they are my citizens and probably guard, oh right I forgot the title lets me command these monkeys ‘’you two, bring me to the elf city’’ the baboon tilt their heads with a blank expression

‘’You. Bring. Me. City.’’ The baboons now have a determined face and start walking towards a certain direction, so I have to talk caveman to command baboons, noted. As we exit the village all the other baboons scream and beat their chests, probably as some sort of farewell party for their king, they don’t seem to mind that I just murdered their last king and left right after.

The monkey guards lead us to a well-used road and points in one direction before returning back to the village, side and I walk along the dirt track looking at the various markings on the trees until we find something different, all along the side of this road are plants shaped into various pictures and sculptures, some plants shaped into an arrow pointing at one end of the road, others shaped into crudely drawn Phallus probably made by kids along with some badly drawn graffiti on the bark, at a branch of the road we see some smoke, oh! Some actual people for once!

Side has been admiring a Schlong shaped flower on the side of the road with a serious face, I can hear her muttering ‘’So even the kid's control of plants is to such extent, elves truly are adept with nature’’ under her breath ‘’Hey side! There are some people over there, wanna check it out?’’ side looks up from her serious contemplation and jogs to me ‘’I want to be able to do something like that too!’’ you what?

‘’You want to make badly proportioned Tools?’’ side only realizes now that she was staring so intently at a child’s sculpture of a penis and panics ‘’W-w-what! I-i-I m-mean t-to make p-permanent plant m-magic!’’ oh right, I remember that she said something about plants reverting back when mana runs out ‘’l-lets go meet those people over there h-hahaha’’

Alright then, we make our way to the pillar of smoke to find a bunch elves wearing tattered clothing smoking some kind of plant huddled around a barrel fire, ‘’Hey identify… what... are those?’’
