《Black God of Lightning.》20. Lucas makes his move

" System, how long did this take?"
[ 35 minutes. You have 5 minutes left.]
Lucas had everything prepped so he was off and ready to go but the last five minutes took forever.
[1 minute until the soul migration array emits the white light. Get ready.]
Lucas heard the systems voice. He was already ready to initiate the spell at any time.
[ 5,4,3,2,1,0]
When the timer reached zero Lucas initiated the F rank teleportation spell. With a flash of white light, he disappeared from the Royal library and into the Throne room. The Throne room was currently bright with white light so Lucas could not see a thing. This also meant that no one could see him too. Lucas used the blinding white light from the soul migration array. To mask the white light that came from his teleportation magic.
Lucas quickly activated The Ring of Invisibility and the Wind's Affection. This made Lucas completely invisible. This worked more on Lucas because he has such a low charisma stat. Lucas used wind's affection to levitate slightly above the ground as to not make any sounds when he moved.
The white light finally stopped shining and Lucas could once again see the Throne room that he was all too familiar with. The soul migration array was there. The room was still packed with Knights both the silver and the gold. What took Lucas by surprise was that he could not find the King, nor could he find the mages. Daruin Ashbinder was sitting on the Throne of the King. Lucas knew they could not of left already as the soul migration array had just been used.
Finally, Lucas looked in the direction of the summonee as he wanted to see who he must save. Before he looked he noticed how everyone was staring in the direction of the summonee. Which wasn't surprising as they all wanted to see the summonee like Lucas did. But when he saw the summonee he understood the reason everyone was staring.
The summonee was a 20-year-old girl this time around, she had long black hair. She had a diamond-shaped face with visible jawline. Her eyes were green with tinges of yellow which gave her an ethereal feeling. Her body was in shape. But the reason for most of the lustful stares was that she was well-endowed and for some reason she was naked.

" System, why does she not have clothes on but I did when I came here?"
[ That is because the way you two were summoned is different despite both being summoned by the soul migration array.]
" I guess the system does not plan on elaborating. Oh well, I will just leave it at that."
When the girl came to a realisation that she was no longer where she could last remember, she began to panic. She looked down at her body and noticed that she was naked too. She noticed she was in some place that looked like a castle and everyone was staring at her. Even with the helmets on the girl knew that it was lustful stares. She immediately tried to cover herself up with her hands. She wasn't completely successful but it was better than nothing.
" I am naked. Laid bare in front of everyone. All these lustful gazes on me. I'm probably a victim of human trafficking. And the person who bought me has so type of mediaeval fetish. How did I end up here? I never drank and partied. I'm hard working. One moment I'm in my room studying, the next I'm here." The girl thought.
" Get off the soul migration array." Daruin Ashbinder commanded.
The girl was reluctant to move, afraid of what might happen next so she ignored Daruin Ashbinder. She decided to stay on top. But when she looked into his ice cold royal blue eyes. Her heart shuddered and she decided to listen. She unfolded her arms and jumped off the soul migration array.
When Daurin Ashbinder saw she finally listened he said, " Put the soul migration array back." Then he slowly walked down the stairs and towards the girl. By the time he got down the array was gone and the vault was closed. The Head Knight gave him back the keys.
" Bring some clothes from the back and give them to me," Daruin Ashbinder said. The Head Knight went to get her some clothes. When he did he gave them to Daruin Ashbinder just as he had been asked to.
" Here is a set of clothes. I see you feel very uncomfortable being naked in front of a lot of people."

The girl couldn't believe what she was hearing. The guy in charge actually brought her a set of clothes and wanted to clothe her. If so why was she naked in the first place? What was she doing here? How did she get her? But now she believed that she had overreacted. Maybe there is a reason for all this she just needed to wait it out...
Daruin Ashbinder saw the surprise in her face and responded with a smile. Then he said, " Yes. I am going to give you these clothes but first, you need to show me you deserve them."
Daruin Ashbinder put the clothes on the floor and began unbuckling his pants. The Knights laughter filled the room when they realized what was going to happen next.
" There is no escaping from this. When we summoned you we forcefully ripped your soul from your body. There is no going back to your world because your original body is a soulless corpse."
[ If you do not make your move soon there is a 90% chance you will receive some form of backlash from her.]
Lucas ignored the system's message as he was contemplating whether it was really worth it. If he jumped into action now there was no turning back. What point was there in trying to be the hero and save a girl if you going to die anyway. Honestly, this seemed like a re-run of how he died last time. Lucas kept weighing the odds as the systems kept counting down. Even though he was in thought he was prepping his mana.
[ 85%, 80%, 75%, 70%, 65%, 60%]
" Okay, okay, okay. I'll go."
At that moment Lucas walked to the side of the girl. He was still invisible so nobody could see him. He had already prepped his mana long ago while he had the time. He then in one swift motion picked up her clothes and then with the other arm he touched her shoulder and initiated the teleportation spell.
A white light flashed in the Throne room and poof they were gone.
" Order a full lockdown on the capital! No one enters and leaves the capital unreported! Reactivate the Teleportation jammers. I want her back yesterday! Only tell what is relevant anything related to the soul migration array will cause you your death."
" Yes, Your Highness" The Knights shouted and left the Throne Room in a hurry to go and convey the news to the relevant parties.
.....
In an empty alley in the district of the poorest people. A white flash appeared and two people were seen emerging from it. Lucas deactivated his invisibility spell.
" Here put these clothes on quickly. We need to run." Lucas said.
The girl looked at Lucas and took the clothes. She was really scared because yet again she was at another unfamiliar place. With a tap on the shoulder, a white light appeared and poof. Her whole world was tumbling. She did not know how to make sense of anything. She thought she was dreaming yet the moment in the palace was still so vivid in her mind. She could feel the lustful gazes creeping on her skin as if it was licking her.
At this thought, her body shivered and she quickly put on her clothes. When she was done she looked at the man who had "saved" her but he was looking the other way. She tapped him on the shoulder to tell him she is done changing.
Now that she was fully clothed Lucas finally looked at her properly and he saw that she was really beautiful. She was wearing a servant's dress. It was a bit oversized. However, in one area one would argue that it was too small. Her hair wasn't tied up so it hung just below her back.
The girl noticed Lucas looking at her. But it wasn't with the same eyes that she had felt in the castle. This made her relax a bit. Well as much as it could. It didn't take away the fact that she was still in this position.

{The Dragon Within} (Completed)
Meeting his fate at the hands of seven great heroes, the wicked drake now stands in Death's hall. Met with the Grim Reaper itself. Defeated and its pride broken, the drake doesn’t beg or grovel, it simply awaits judgement. It waits for the God of the afterlife to send it on its way, to either the heights of bliss and peace or where it knew it would be sent. The depths of agony and torture, the halls of Tartarus, the father of monsters. Grim looked up from its oaken desk and down at the creature that would have otherwise, if grown wiser and older, matched the reaper itself in power. Its faceless guise, hidden by a black hood and whirling shadows, it briefly stared at the drake. “You are unfit for the sky yet also too fit for the abyss,” Grim spoke, its voice a cracking whisper. “Your time came too soon, the actions you have taken will lead your world to ruin…Be reborn, pitiful serpent. Yet remember what you have done, see what your actions have made that realm into. Let me show you, how your greed and gluttony have warped such a wonderful place and time.” Grim raised its black-feathered pen towards the beast “Be reborn, as the weak pitiful creature you should have been born as. Take this both as a punishment and…a learning experience. For failure, can be the best teacher.” The drake took a step back, hoping to escape this cruel fate. Yet none escaped Death, less so its embodiment. Screaming shadows engulfed his form, ripping away at his body and shape. Fangs of darkness sinking deep into his draconic flesh, warping it, changing him into something else… Opening his eyes, the wicked drake felt none of its power, none of its magic and none of its might. As it stood at the edge of a cliff, looking down upon a ruined valley of rot and miasma. It glanced down at itself, seeing none of its sturdy scales or sharp claws. The drake had been reborn... As a Human. Will also be posting on CreativeNovels found here; CrN Where chapters will be posted earlier than RRL.

The Trespasser
Synopsis Following his di—instincts, David finds himself in a weird situation; the next thing he knows, he's in a different world, dying, and manhandled by a big-ass alien. When the Source comes to his aid, granting him the access that—like every other sapient—he's due, David barely manages to get out of the fight with his life intact, but is that enough? Of course it isn't. The very Source giving him powers is also poisoning him to death. Oh, there she is, the petite female alien. Will that be enough to save him? Of course it won't. If he wants to be saved, he has first to save himself. The only way to do so is by getting to know the world around him, but even before that... Why the bloody hell did I have to be called Deviant!? *** Blurb? Blurb. The Trespasser starts slowly, I believe I've written a decent world, and I want you to find out what it's all about, won't just throw it in your face because of *levels*. I do not like stories that don't make sense. David is not a murderhobo, he respects life and answers to the world and the weird situations thrown at him with irony and sarcasm; so you are looking for easy killing streaks, you will not find them here. So, a man finds himself into the wild? It's a different world, and yet he can breathe its air? Finds himself in a lucky-low-level zone? Oh, look at that, people speak English—how likely is that? So, nope, not for me, gentleman. You won't find anything of the likes here. Again, a man finds himself in a new world but only thinks about the system? Yeah, that's not exactly how it works. David will try to find out what it's really all about, what the aliens want, how they work, why is that Fay really helping him? You can kill somebody to get levels, and yet there is not even a form of police? Not gonna happen here. Man becomes suddenly overpowered in a world where people can live for thousands of years by having enough luck to face only lower-level people? Hahaha—nope. Lastly...Spaceships and fantasy with LitRPG... say what!? Well, what's wrong with that? Let's make it happen, shall we? *** You want even more info? Really? Alright... David will start from the very bottom of the food chain, so there will be a settling arc—it's inevitable. David will find true companions, with personalities and backstories, and they will have a life of their own. There will be enemies, and those enemies will have a life of their own, too; there will be no evil just because. The world-building will have true depth; it will not exist just because the protagonist visits it. There will be both Fantasy and (Soft) Sci-fi—yeah, you heard that right. There will be rationality to every action taken, as long as the characters are aware of what is going on. There will be a godly system. You will come to read because of the world-building, but you will stay for the characters. The dead stay dead, and you will weep for them. There will be no action without a reaction. Lastly, there will be laughs. Are you still up for it? Then get in but fasten your seatbelts because it's going to be a wild ride. *** Release Days: Twice a week Release Time: ~09:00 PM UTC Words per chapter: ~3000 This web novel is also available on other platforms.
