This was the last of the treasures that Lucas had put aside. There were more treasures that were a lot more powerful but using them meant losing a part of your soul in return for the power.
" This is all the treasures that I need, the rest you may keep," Lucas said.
The Goblins were all really happy that they got to keep some of their most precious treasure.
" He is so stupid. Even if he didn't want the treasure he could take it and sell it yet he is giving back to us. Not that I mind but if the roles were reversed I would take it all just because I can. Humans..." Gluglogs thought.
In the goblin's mind what Lucas was doing was stupid but there was a reason for this. The treasure the goblins had amassed was truly powerful. Even if he was not willing to give a part of his soul away, some other idiot would and it would not be fun to encounter this person. So Lucas would rather leave it by weak creatures that will not be seen in public for a while than sell it and get money only to create a stronger person.
"I'll also take the box in which you store the treasures. Also, go fetch me more of those evolution pills Greythang swallowed."
The Goblins gulped down when they heard Lucas wanted the pills of evolution, for this was their hope to become stronger. If they gave this away how can they get stronger? But Gryteng refused to give up treasure and look how he ended up. Gluglogs was puzzled on how he should proceed for he could not make this decision alone.
Lucas noticed the silence after he asked for the pill so he picked up one of the potions of mana regeneration and drank it.
Instantly 500 mana points were restored.
[ Mana fatigue has disappeared.]
Lucas was now ready for anything. He now had the mana to obliterate the entire goblin settlement if he wanted but he waited on their response.
Gluglogs saw him waiting and then said, " That of which you ask is possible but you will be robbing us of our hopes and dreams. We need the pill of evolution to evolve ourselves to stronger species so that we will never be looked down upon again!"
Lucas saw the fury in Gluglogs eyes when he said that he did not want to be looked down upon again.

"How much do you have? I only require one."
" We have three left one for each Advisor. If you take one, you will be taking mine. So when the time comes I will not be able to evolve. This will mean our prowess will be weaker than we had hoped. You already killed Gryteng and our entire military force we can't afford any more setbacks."
"How long will it take for you until you can use the pill of evolution? As far as I can tell even Gryteng used it prematurely and he was a lot stronger than you."
" 6 months exactly then we will be able to absorb it properly."
" That is half a year later. I tell you what you give me one and in 6 months I will return twice the amount back. Of course, you need to still be here so I can give it back."
" How do we know you are telling the truth. What insurance can you give us."
" I don't need to. If I want I could take all three. But I'm choosing to take one and even return two to you. Whether you believe me or not is solely up to you."
Gluglogs once again understood the position he was in for he was all too familiar with it. He found himself once again in a situation where he was too weak to do anything. He found himself in a position of inferiority having to submit to someone else's choices.
He gritted his teeth and excepted Lucas's proposal as he had no other choice and in the off chance that Lucas was telling the truth. They would gain double return meaning they would be able to gain more strength. He did not believe Lucas's words at all but it was all he could do.
Gluglogs put his hands in his pocket and took out the red pill and gave it to Lucas. His heart was bleeding as Lucas took it from him.
" Thank you," Lucas said as he took it out of Gluglog's hand.
Lucas then put all his treasures and the pill into the box.
" I have received all that I want. I will be taking my leave now," Lucas said.
As the new owner of the treasure box, Lucas shrank the box to the size of a Rubix cube and held it in his hands.
But before he left he robbed the dead bodies of all their gold, silver, and bronze and began walking to the other bodies that were further away as he had left his gold there.
The Goblins watched Lucas walk away with a heavy heart. But this inspired them to train harder to gain more strength so something like this never happens again.
When Lucas reached the dark part of the cave again he could not see a thing. "System, can you activate combat mode? I can't see a thing," Lucas said.

[ Combat mode, can only be activated two times out of combat per day. Do you wish to use it. Yes/No?"
"Yes"
Suddenly just like before Lucas could see clearly again. He was like a mole that finally sprouted working eyes. Lucas walked down the path until he found the bodies and to the right was a pouch full of gold. Lucas picked up the heavy pouch and placed it inside the treasure box and just like that the weight disappeared.
"System, I'm ready. Take me back to the castle," Lucas said.

" We initially expected to suffer some sort of set back. To not arouse suspicion after we kill the summonee. However, now that the summonee does not need to be killed we can move forth with phase two immediately. Lady luck smiles upon us." Abigail Ashbinder exclaimed.
" Yes, fate is on our side." Daruin Ashbinder said.
" Where is the summonee now? If our plan proceeds smoothly we are going to need a new enslavement spell on him." Abigail Ashbinder said.
" He wanted to read books and obtain knowledge of this world so I sent him to the royal library. But I do not know if he is there anymore as he should have realized by now he cannot read our language." Daruin Ashbinder said.
" He will still be there. He is new to this world he will not want to go to unfamiliar places. So he will not leave the library. Go do your part and I will make sure we have no loose ends."
"Will do," Daruin Ashbinder said.
The Queen left the room and Daruin Ashbinder left shortly after her.
Abigail Ashbinder was on her way to the library to go see Lucas. As she walked through the corridors she made many people turn their heads and do a double take just to get one more look at her beauty.
She was now standing by the door of the Royal Library. She saw that the two Kings Knights Daruin Ashbinder had spoken of were still here. Which meant Lucas hadn't left yet. They greeted her and stood at their post again.
She opened the doors just as the white light had finished which made it look like Lucas was some sort of Angel. Lucas saw the woman staring at him but he did not pay her mind. Lucas walked to the table and put the treasure box on one of the seats across him.
Abigail felt offended that he did not greet her for she was the Queen. But she soon realized that he is not from here and that's the reason for his rude behaviour.
Lucas picked up the book and acted like he was struggling to read it.
" You can't read these books yet. Our language is not the same as in your world. You will have to learn how to read and write Imedun" Abigail Ashbinder said.
Lucas turned around to see the middle age woman looking at him. As if she was addressing him.
"Thank you but I've realised that already. No matter how many I took out the library they all written the same way," Lucas replied.
Abigail Ashbinder walked to Lucas now and sat down on one of the chairs. She then touched the one chair that Lucas had already pulled out saying Lucas must sit down.
Lucas decided to listen and sat down. Once he was seated she looked and Lucas deep in his eyes and said, " Things are about to change in this castle and when they do we will let you free. As you are of no use to us," Abigail Ashbinder said.
Lucas smiled and thought," This woman is actually really beautiful and she smells amazing."
[ Warning you are currently under two enslavement spells. Do you wish to activate your passive skill? Yes/No?"
"Is it that easy to be enslaved here! I've been in this castle for less than a day and I am already under two spells. Do people only know how to enslave in this world? Wait but she never cast a spell on me. How did this happen?" Lucas thought.
[Its when you decided to look down at her cleavage that you were caught in her charm.]
Lucas coughed when he heard the systems solemn explanation. He was embarrassed. He wanted to dig a hole and climb in it. He was just exposed by the system. Lucas thought " It was only a glimpse."
The Queen saw his reaction and said, " Are you okay?" She thought that Lucas was embarrassed to speak to her because of the way she looked. She only asked if he was okay as a formality but she was not new to these reactions. In fact, it would be odd if it didn't occur.
" I'm fine I just chocked on my saliva. But thank you for caring. Also, thank you for releasing me. I'm sorry that I am not of any use to you." Lucas said.
At this moment she got up from her chair and left. For she had accomplished her goal. She too had noticed Lucas's glimpse but that was all it took and if she willed it she could command you. The higher your infatuation the more control over you she had. Since she only needed Lucas not to speak about the soul migration array. His glimpse was sufficient to command him not to speak about it. The commands happened telepathically.
Lucas was happy after she left. He had also now heard that they were going to release him soon. He no longer had to escape.
