《Black God of Lightning.》7. A skin defect ?

" It's working!" a man screamed in excitement.
The white light kept fading and the more it did the more clear the human-like features of the shadows appeared.
" It's almost time for my debut in this new world! I don't know what to expect or where I am being summoned too. But I am excited! I get another take on life! I need to find out the ins and out of this world and be successful in whatever form that is in!"
At this moment the bright white light had completely subsided and he could now see clearly. The magic spell had stopped too so there was no white wall blocking his immediate path. Lucas could now see where he was. Lucas looked and saw that he is in some place that appeared to be a castle? Lucas then saw the Knights clad in silver armour and the two who wore gold amour. He then saw a bunch of people wearing red robes but the most eye-catching despite the furthest away was the young man whose cold gaze could instantly freeze a heart sitting on a flamboyant black chair. And above him a middle-aged man who wore a gold crown sitting on a large golden throne.
Each one of them possessing different looks and auras but how they looked at Lucas with disdain was indistinguishable. However, as time passed one person eyes seemed to burn stronger and with rage.
"What is this trash?!"The King flung his arms in rage. The throne room went quiet for a while.
" I asked for a strong abled body to smite my enemies yet I am sent a sickly one with a skin defect. Either this or the white light charred him which makes him WEAK! Taking damage from something that does not deal damage."
At this moment everyone looked at Lucas in rage, from the Knights to the mages to the King except the Prince, in fact, the Prince was smiling.
The rage the mages possessed was equal if not more than the King. They thought " I sacrificed all my mana for this. I will never be able to cast another spell again and for what?! To summon this!"

They were only Peak(Omega) E rank mages. and were not particularly strong in a grand sense. However, not being able to cast any spells. In a world that uses magic as often as people use their cell phones on Earth. Is quite a problem. They agreed to this because the King said he would pay their debts that they had accumulated trying to study magic. It was an enormous amount to them but to a King, it's peanuts. After their agreement, a contract was signed that prevents them from speaking about what happened that day ( think of it like a non-disclosure agreement). Everyone knows that wealth is directly proportionate to a mage's opportunities and strength. So those that don't have money borrow from banks or from loan sharks hoping to make it big, betting on their "talent". Unfortunately, some are just destined to fail so that others can make it.
The King put both hands on his face and started rubbing them up an down which showed his grief. Afterwards, he took his hands away revealing his face and it was pale despite the circulation that should have occurred from rubbing his face.
The Prince then said " Father maybe his skin colour is a new mutation of some sort. We should test his affinity to the dark arts".
The colour returned to the King as he now had a glimmer of hope to hold on to.
But before that, we should probably enslave his body to ensure he does not defy orders even though he is useless but he has seen this room and that crystal as such we can not let word slip out"
The King returned to his normal posture and began walking down the stairs to the black crystal where Lucas was.
When the people were looking at Lucas with disgust and anger it did not bother him at all. Being that this is his second life. He had a stronger temperament and trivial matters such as this did not faze him. Lucas thought " It does not matter what you think of me it only matters what I think of me. I have ambitions that will not be stopped just because you don't like me."

The King reached the black crystal and said: " Climb off the platform."
Lucas then jumped over the small rift afterwards the knight went down the stairs to store the crystal again.
King then started chanting a spell " Oh chains that bind, chains that bind the body and the flesh. Chains that bind the will of all creatures. Bind the will of who I will. Dark magic release" while he was chanting black motes of light swam around him until they formed a big black chain. When the magic was released the chains flew towards Lucas and bound him. After the chains locked they disappeared.
When Lucas saw this happen he was pissed he thought, " What the heck! Didn't the God of the multiverse say that I had a passive skill that protects me from this. But I clearly saw that chain affect me now!"
As Lucas thought this a voice appeared in his head " That is because you never activated the skill, once the skill is activated the binding will not work anymore. "
Lucas then saw a system like screen pop up in his face.
Do you want to activate the skill anti enslavement (non-upgradable) Yes/No
Lucas then asked the system " If I say yes will this person notice that I have broken free from his spell?"
[It is possible that it could occur, currently, the system is to low a level to give a definite answer. Users own judgement advised]
Lucas then decided to keep it on as he was still new to this world. Potentially gaining the animosity of someone that had so many powerful guards around him is not the brightest thing to do. If there was a chance he could get busted he would rather not. He then thought of the saying from his original word " rather safe than sorry."
At this time the guard came out the stair and the crystal was already buried below. The Head Knight gave back the keys to the King. The King then shouted, " Bring me a black crystal."
The Head Knight said " Yes my King" and went to fetch a black crystal on a table behind the pillars. He then brought it to the King. The King looked at Lucas and said " You. Put your hands on the crystal."
As much as Lucas hated being ordered, even more, when done by some pompous person. He complied and touched the crystal. To his surprise, there was no absolutely no reaction.
Lucas asked the system " why is there no reaction?"
[Blessings have not been activated yet as well as host needs to learn to manipulate mana as of now it is too weak for the crystal to pick up.
[Do you want to activate blessing: High harmonization with mana (upgradable) yes/no
[Do you want to activate blessing: High affinity to elemental magic (upgradeable) yes/no
[Do you want to activate blessing: Decrease in cast time. Increases in hit rate (upgradable) yes/no]
Three stacked notifications popped up in Lucas's face. This surprised Lucas even though he read about systems it's still different in real life and will take some getting used to.
Lucas then declined all three blessings for the time being. He felt that he wanted to gain knowledge about this world first as well as find a way to escape this place and the weaker they think he is the better for him.
Puh! In Lucas's moment of surprise, some of the mages spat on the floor. Because of the way Lucas looked. It looked like he was surprised that there was no reaction from the crystal. Even though that was true the bigger surprise was the system's notifications. One mage whispered to the rest " How is this guy surprised he has no talent for the dark arts. It's like an ant looking in the mirror and being surprised it's an ant."
