Chapter 209 –
The crown prince’s troops swarmed in inside the dungeon located underneath the castle of the Emperor. There was only one thing inside their mind. That was to find the one who thought of the thunder of God. It was their duty to vanquish that evil.
They formed around the door. A trooper bashed the door open and the other soldiers followed in. They shouted ‘check’ as they clear the room. The white coats who were working raised their hands to surrender. A woman with long blonde hair strides inside the room. Beside the woman was a dire wolf that was half as tall as her. The dire wolf was growling as it releases Psion-based electricity.
“Where’s ‘he’?” thundered the woman.
The white coat who was the chief of the scientists kneeled and joined his hands together. “He’s inside one of the cells! Please don’t hurt us!”
“Cells?” exclaimed the woman. She gestured at the troops. They swarmed the laboratory and checked each and single one of the cells. They found test subjects, people who were used as experiments. This made the troopers feel disgusted. The test subjects were like herded cattle.
“Find anything?” said a soldier who was looking around, he wore a helmet, garbed in a web of pouches.
“There’s a heavily locked one there. Call the leader.”
“Okay!”
The trooper reported to the blonde woman. She nodded and went to where the heavily locked cell. She observed the cell. It was reinforced with metal, and there were almost twenty locks placed. She doesn’t know why the person they are looking for was locked inside the cell.
But did it matter? In their mind, the person that helped the Emperor create the thunder of God was equally a tyrant. They had to bring them down like they did to the Emperor. They think that the Crown Prince was disgusted and now they were allowed to root out the problem.

The blonde woman with the dire wolf pulled her fist back. She then released a purple energy from her body as it crackle like electricity. She twisted her body; her fist turned into a claw as she then easily ripped the doors of the cell.
She threw the metal door aside. She took a step and her face crumpled as she places her sight on the man who helped the Emperor.
“What?”
She said as she saw the man whose legs were chained. He was hugging his knee and he was thin. The man was missing three of his fingers. There was a lump in his throat and his jaw looked like it was broken. The man lifted his head up to look at the blonde woman. He squinted because of the light.
What was this? That’s what everyone thought when they saw the ‘helper’ of the Emperor. He had scars everywhere and he was in no condition to speak or even fight. But the man stood up as if he saw the light. He was muttering, his strange looking jaw moved as he uttered incomprehensible words.
“Free?” he said.
The troopers reacted. They pointed their rifles at the man, ready to bring him down if he tries to move. They need to take this man and bring him out to the people. He would be judged and dealt with. The penalty for helping the death of millions was heavy. There was no way he would not face it.
“Ah, hostile, kill me?” said the man. “Bad people, try to kill me finally? No, I want to live!”
Suddenly, the man pointed his palm at them. They could not react as a cannon-like explosion exploded. The blonde woman was forced back along with her dire wolf companion. She looked around him and saw that the men with her instantly died.

Her heart fumed with anger. She turned her eyes at the limping figure who was trying to escape. She shouted with all of her might. “YOU ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE YOU BASTARD!”
The man who helped the Emperor ran with all of his might. But how could he escape the blonde woman and her dire wolf? He was easily back-kick and slammed the wall. The man who helped the Emperor squealed like a pig. He stood up gingerly and pointed his palm at the blonde woman and her dire wolf.
Two transparent balls of energy appeared on his palm. They made the sound of a flint being lit as it then exploded towards the blonde woman and her dire wolf.
The man who helped the Emperor tried to run away. He tripped as he does, yet he kept on crawling away in fear. He was able to arrive in this room. He pressed one button after another. He was doing something. The blonde woman didn’t allow him to do what he wanted. She arrived in front of him instantly and pressed her palm to his left shoulder.
The man who helped the Emperor was slammed into a wall, a crater appeared as the man slid down with his limbs facing the wrong way. The man who helped the Emperor teared up. He muttered something that made the blonde woman stop in her tracks. She pondered for a while. But she saw the man trying to lift his broken arm.
But her dire wolf reacted. The dire wolf’s fang bit through the neck of the man who healed the Emperor. The man who helped the Emperor shouted. He screamed as his body suddenly regenerated. He was using some sort of spell. But the dire wolf tore a chunk of the man’s neck.
The man who helped the Emperor made a look of despair. Yet his face turned that of a man who seemed to have been released from suffering. “Free...finally...”
The man who helped the Emperor lost the last of his life. A strange smile was plastered on his face as he didn’t function any longer.
The blonde woman and her dire wolf heard footsteps swarming inside. The troopers looked at the two and hurried near them. “Captain Zola! Are you okay?”
“Yes, the target tried to fight back. He’s dead.”
“Good fucking riddance.”
The troopers behind scowled at the man who helped the Emperor. Zola looked at them and said. “I shall excuse myself; I don’t want to be part of the Crown Prince’s show!”
“Roger, bring the fucker boys, time to show the world that they are dead!”
Then later that moment, two lifeless bodies that were desecrated badly were broadcast to the masses. The Emperor and his helper were now dead.

I was Reborn as the Villainess but I will become a Great Sage
Nova Allandis, formerly known as Suna Lee, remembers her previous life and realizes her current life is as the villainess in a fantasy novel she once read. However, as Suna, she was the laziest person with no motivation, possibly attributed to the fact that she didn't go into a major that was her strongest suit. Now that she has a high affinity towards magic and wishes to go into it, will she be able to change her lazy self for the better, or will she go back to being lazy like the villainess in the novel? Can she become a Great Sage and live life happily this time? Note: This is not a "revenge of the villainess" novel, but rather a "rise to fame" novel. A/N: This is just an experimental novel and criticisms are much appreciated, but I'm extremely defensive of my own work and characters. If you are here to put down a novel, please remember, first of all, you are not paying anything to read this, and second of all, authors are humans too.

I'm just an 'Ordinary' Human (MCU fanfic)
A guy gets hit by a truck and sent to a fantasy world with less power than your average peasant. (Un)fortunately, he discovered his secret power of Immortality at the hands of the current destroy-the-world inclined Demon Lord and becomes experimental subject #1. After hundreds of years, the Demon Lord is killed and the job of destruction was handed to him. Being not terribly favorably inclined to this fantasy world, he wreaks havoc on the world... Killing sacred beasts, massacring cities with an army of undead, headhunting servants of God, plaguing a whole continent with a deadly virus. But he was still unsatisfied.During an experiment, he accidentally killed himself trying to open a gateway to a new world. And wakes up from his coma in his original world. Except, it isn't his world, exactly. Now there is a man in a metal suit, a 90-years old buff dude with a shield, a muscle head demi-god and other weirdos who formed a team called the ‘Avengers’. None of that matters though, because he is so over all that drama. This life is going to be carefree. Or at least, that's the plan. Note: The 4th wall is thin on this one, so the MC often breaks it. As this is fanfiction, I will make sure to follow the "Fair use" clause of the Copyright law. Please support this on its original website too, Webnovel.
