Chapter 175 –
The skyship landed smoothly. Snow was blown away and the grass hidden under the snow was revealed. There was a loud sound that came from the skyship.
Dolce frowned at that familiar sound. It was an annoyance. The skyships that were produced by the Holy Midland were vastly inferior to the skyship that was on the left of her view. The Templar’s skyship looked rusty and there were loud clanking sounds as the thrusters try to settle down.
The flying machine went silent. The back of the skyship lowered down. A tall blonde haired man with stubble, wearing a coat, black pants, stepped forward. He had an air of confidence around him. His eyes were fierce and he was flaunting his arm that was wrapped in a bandage.
He took another step. He scanned the grounds and was about to scowl when he spotted Dolce’s figure watching from afar. His face that was stern and serious suddenly warmed. He gestured behind his subordinates and told them to take care of the ship.
He ambled towards Dolce. He looked at his sister and said. “No frilly dress. No curled hair. Are you really my sister, Dolce? Or did some bastard did something and make your face? It is pretty convincing,” his expression turned serious.
Dolce replied with a smile. The two stared for a moment. Then suddenly Dolce push her first at Don’s chest. Don took a step back and uses the back of her left hand to parry Dolce’s fist. He was about quip something but another blow came towards him.
“Oh my,” he commented. “Looks like you really are my sister.”
“Brother Don, how come you are always like this?” she asked with a sincere expression.
“I am always like this. Do you think that I can easily trust anyone? I should be asking why you are like this. Then this only means that you really sold your purity away for your freedom. But as you are right now, I think that no one would complain other than those fools in balls and dance parties.” he said with his hands behind him.

“What’s with people asking why I am not wearing a dress? Catalina said that same. Always commenting on my frill dress and curly hair!” she humph.
Don scanned Dolce. “That was how anyone would recognize you. You were nothing after all. At first, I thought you would be called as the wench who gave her purity to some slave. But owning many fiefs, and being in good terms with Templars, while working for the Princess of the Demesne? You are lucky or cunning. Is my little darling sister a schemer?”
“I am a lucky schemer,” Dolce playfully said. “And I am so wealthy that I might just buy all your assets and turn that restaurant of yours into my personal kitchen for the poor.”
Dolce frowned. His brows met. “If you do that, then I will have no choice but to tearfully hate you, my sister. Among us siblings, you are the only one that understood my thoughts.”
“Yes, I do,” she nodded. “Are you still hunting for a good wife? There are so many that want you brother, but you won’t even meet the beauty of the Holy Midland? Of all the girls in this continent, you want to seek someone that you met a long time ago?”
Don looked at her sister as if he was annoyed. “You wouldn’t understand my pain. When I was lost in that Cagan forest, I met that beautiful young woman with black cat ears, her tail was so fluffy and remembering that hand as she takes me out of the forest is something I will never forget. The time we spent in that forest was something special.”
The two started to walk inside the compound.
“Such affection,” Dolce sighed. “Why not just grab some girl from Cagan and get done with it?”

Don sneered. “What’s the use of faker? I want the real original one! No matter how much tainted she is! As long as she’s not happily married, then I’ll find her!” Don said resolutely. There was a trace of obsession in his eyes.
The two sauntered further inside. They were met by the servants and were led to a room where they could freely walk. Dolce sat on a couch while her brother sat in front of her.
Don took his coat and rotated his left arm. He grimaced in pain.
“What’s with your arm?” Dolce asked.
“Got shot by this lad, he thought he could end the conflict by taking me out. Had to put the lad down and father told me to go back home. I was against it. But having my sister accompany me while the other fools are out, makes me happy,” Don replied with a smile. He looked at Catalina who entered and pointed with his chin.
Catalina didn’t say anything. She merely bowed her head and left the room along with the silver tray. Dolce and Don took some tea and drank them. There was silence between the two. One could only hear the silence of their drinking.
Don looked at Dolce. “What are you doing my dearest sister?”
“What do you mean?” she asked blandly.
“What I asked you. Are you still working for the Princess and how long until you get bored of doing and shut yourself inside your room?” Don said with his eyes looking straight at Dolce.
Dolce thought for a while. She thought of the threat that is coming to the continent. “Brother, do you think that I can rest easy with a gigantic Empire heading for this continent?”
“Indeed,” Don said softly. “A gigantic Empire crossing the Gigantes Sea, an Empire that no one heard off. They are coming to subjugate us and fellate their imperial dreams. I doubt many would kindly surrender. But will it be worth it?”
“What’s this?” Dolce raised her eyebrows. “Is my big brother actually scared? I am shocked!”
“I am not,” he replied sternly. “But can we just talk to this Empire? I know that the Demesne have tried doing so but failed. But still, it is the most logical option.”
“So act like a coward?” Dolce said with a sneer.
“Of course not,” Don shrugged. “The war with this Empire will be long. You have to consider many things. I merely think that we can punish them enough and make them realize that fighting this continent takes too much resource.”
“I see,” Dolce nodded. “I thought you were scared. So what do you want from me?” she turned serious.
“Join the fight. You can pull some strings. We need to conquer the Salevela lisland immediately,” Don said clearly.

Genshin Impact, Breezing Through Teyvat.
A man that was used to reviewing novels, dies in an elevator accident and gets sent to the world of Teyvat [Genshin Impact] to live his life the way he wants. What will happen if an unknown entity like him enters the world of Teyvat? Will the Archons hunt him down, or will he hunt them? *** This story is my first wish fulfillment. It will be slightly different from the story of Genshin Impact due to them updating the game so often and adding/changing stuff. Currently, it's patch 1.5 and I have been playing the game ever since it came out. So I am closely following the story, but... It won't be following the same story at all times. But I will do my best to try and follow the original as closely as possible with my abilities. It will reach number one on genshin fanfics. I guarantee it.

Rimward Bound
Every citizen of the sky-cities of His Majesty's Star-Empire knows that a ship, both sky- and star-, is more then just a few bits of metal. It is the grand sum of it's hull and the crew that sail it. 'Hulls of battle-steel and men to match!' That's what the Navy's recruitment poster's claim at least. Every sailor knows that there is one more component that the city-bound folk ignore at their own peril: the soul of the ship. That it takes both man and hull to make a true ship, and that neither alone serve well or for long. In 8225 Lord Jeffrye Saltonstall the Fourth, Political Lord of the Surveyor's Corps, demands semi-automated ships to 'reduce the loss of life among our brave crews', manages to convince the other politicians and bureaucrats to fund them, and gets the Office of Ship Construction to sign off on the ships as structurally sound. Dockyard workers shake their heads at the ships, muttering that they are cursed from birth, even as construction drags on. In 8230 the Explorer, first of her class, is launched. She sets out in 8233 to great fanfare on a trip expected to last six months. Neither she nor her twelve-person crew is ever heard from again. By 8235, the remaining seven Explorers are are commissioned. Lord Saltonstall managed to find crews for six of them but at the cost of mass resignations. The Night Horse, last of the Explorer class, sat in reserve as her sister-ships served well enough despite ill luck and misfortune. The Office of Ship Construction quietly issues notice that no more semi-automated ships are to be built and that all active Semi-automated ships are to be quietly retired and broken up for scrap over the next ten years. The Night Horse, sitting in reserve, is missed due to bureaucratic oversight. In 8250 Lord Ayland Wynstryngham the Eighth assumes the office of Political Lord of the Surveyor's Corps. His first act is to issue notice that no ship is to be without crew nor sit in dock or reserve for longer then required for maintenance and upkeep. The Night Horse, all but forgotten, is quietly brought back into active service. Recruiting a crew for her proves another matter entirely. What poor or desperate fool would willingly sign on to crew, much less command, a cursed ship and spend months or years in deep space? Well, you would, of course. Where else is a kid from the gutters going to find that kind of freedom in the service of His Majesty? A [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] 2021.
