《Break Neck Alley》5. I Don't Remember

Az was awaked by a loud ringing noise.
He awoke to find a naked woman on top of him.
She smelled amazing-
Az's heart began to race as he realized that he had slept out without informing his parents.
Yes, he told them that he would be back late, but he said nothing about sleeping out.
Az looked around the dimly lit room for his phone and found it on the table at the room's centre.
The phone's battery was worryingly low, but upon opening it, he saw not one message.
Az wondered if there was no network signal in the room, but just as his worries peaked, the woman slowly awoke and faced Az, revealing a set of breathtaking hazel eyes.
“Good morning, you maniac,” Jade whispered.
Her voice was almost enough to drown out the ringing, but no. The ringing persisted.
“Uh- good morning,” Az said rather awkwardly.
Jade sat up and stretched her little arms as she yawned.
This also revealed to Az her perfect breasts.
Az noticed several bite mark’s on her fair skin.
Jade realized that Az was staring at her.
“What? You’re not gonna apologize for almost eating me?” Jade asked with a smirk.
“I’m sorry?” Az said as he sat up.
“No worries. It wasn’t that bad. Which is a shame, cause we probably won’t see each other again.” Jade said as she got dressed.
Az’s heart sank for some reason.
“Why?” Az asked.
Jade saw his pained expression and kissed him on the forehead.
“I’m going to stay over at my cousin's place in Ix Chel. It's right next to the main campus, so it's pretty convenient.” Jade said as Az too got dressed.
“Ok,” Az said.
“Aww, don’t make those sad noises. You know what, here’s my number. Who knows, we could arrange some future dates. Sound good?” Jade asked.
Az nodded before they exchanged numbers.
“Alrighty, then. I’ve gotta bounce. See ya!” Jade said as she walked out of the room.
Az stumbled onto his feet and walked out of the room and his ears were assaulted by the sounds of Acan.
The area outside the motel was pretty deserted so he casually made his way towards the train station.
He then boarded the train back home.
He groaned as he thought about how he would explain his situation to his parents.
His options were pretty limited but he thought about lying and saying that he got drunk and passed out.
That would have been easier than saying he got drugged and had sex with a woman who was quite older than him.
Az eventually arrived at his front yard.

He nervously walked towards the door and knocked on it lightly.
His heart rate skyrocketed as he heard footsteps approaching the door, which slowly opened, revealing a curios Gloria.
“S- sorry mom,” Az said with his head lowered, but Gloria didn’t yell at him or scold him.
Az looked up to see a warm smile on his mother’s face.
“Come on, I’ll make you some breakfast,” Gloria said as Az walked into the house.
He followed his mother into the kitchen area where he found his aunt snacking on an apple.
“Well, well. Look who’s finally decided to show up.” Rose said with a smirk.
Az remained silent as Rose eyed him over.
“Well? How was it?” She asked.
“I- I don’t exactly remember,” Az said.
Rose and Gloria exchanged puzzled looks.
“Damn… you must have really gone hard, eh?” Rose commented.
“Get out of those clothes and take a shower,” Gloria instructed and Az nodded before walking up to his room.
He then tore himself out of his clothes and took a quick shower before changing into some comfortable shorts and a T-shirt.
He then returned to the kitchen, where he sat on a chair opposite Rose.
The ringing in his ear hadn’t disappeared, but it was slightly more bearable at this point.
“How do you feel?” Gloria asked as she handed Az a bowl of oatmeal.
“Tired. But not exhausted or anything.” Az said as he ate away.
“Good. Don’t go turning into a party animal on us.” Gloria said.
“Don’t worry, I won’t.” Az as he finished his meal.
“I’m going to take a nap,” Az said before returning to his room.
He plopped onto his bed, closed his eyes and his eyelids closed shut immediately after.
.
..
Az woke up in the afternoon with a burning curiosity.
He grabbed his phone and sent a message to a certain number.
[Hey, Jade. It’s Az.]
A moment passed.
Then another.
[Heya, Az! Thanks for nothing, you caveman. I’m still all kinds of sore and I’m walking weird.]
Jade texted.
[Sorry.]
Az texted as he yawned.
[Really? That’s all you have to say? And here I was thinking that you weren’t an asshole.]
Jade said.
[No, I’m really sorry. It's that my memory is a little fuzzy.]
Az admitted.
[Oh… yeah, sorry about that. It’s just that Zoey asked me to blow your mind. I didn’t know that you’d end up short-circuiting, hehe. Anyway, did you arrive home safe?]
Jade asked.
[Yep. Thanks for asking.]
[Good. Anyway, I’m off to bed. Goodnight.]
Jade texted.
[It’s still noon though.]

Az texted before placing his phone down.
He then let out a loud groan as he thought back to the previous night.
The last thing he remembered was being dragged by Zoey and being told to wait for her return in a weird room.
He also remembered Jade and the memory of her bright hazel eyes caused his heart to skip a beat, but other than that, his mind was blank.
Az let out a deep sigh before heading down to the living room where he found his father watching something.
He sat next to Radhi, who remained silent for a moment.
“Did you have a good time?” Radhi asked.
“I wish I could tell you, but I honestly don’t remember much,” Az said.
“Don’t tell me you woke up on the side of the streets.”
“No, I woke up… in good company, but I don’t exactly remember how the night ended,” Az said.
“Is that so? Well, I’m sure you had a blast, even if you don’t remember it.” Radhi said.
The two then watched more TV until a bit later in the night.
They then returned to their respective bedrooms where they both slept.
.
..
Monday arrived without a hitch and Az found himself getting dressed for school.
He slipped into his shoes and made his way toward school.
Holly boarded the train at the usual stop and she shot various looks at Az as the train took off.
“Well?” Holly asked.
Az noticed that she wasn’t warning her black blazer. Instead, she wore an armless school Jersey. That, plus her white shirt made her look even cuter than usual.
“Hey, Are you ok?” Holly asked.
“Oh- yeah, I’m good. I just noticed that you aren’t wearing your blazer. You look… good.”
“Don’t change the subject. Tell me what happened!” Holly said, her eyes wide.
“Ugh, I don’t remember,” Az said.
“Don’t lie to me!” Holly said with a pout.
“I’m serious. Last thing I saw that night was Zoey and someone named Jade them boom, I woke up lying next to Jade-"
“What!” Holly exclaimed excruciatingly loudly.
“Shh! Keep your voice down.” Az said as he grabbed Holly, pulling her closer.
“Don’t. Tell. Anyone.” Az said.
“Oh my, did you really have sex with someone you didn’t even know?” Holly whispered.
“I… don’t think- uhh…” Az's mind blanked out as he thought about Jade’s body.
Holly elbowed him in the ribs.
“Ow! What was that for?” Az asked as he winced.
“Give me the juicy details,” Holly said as they arrived at station G03.
“I keep telling you that I don’t remember all that much,” Az said, but Holly pouted in response.
“Fine, keep your secrets,” Holly said.
The two eventually arrived at the main school building.
“Mmm… I believe we have PE today." Az said as they entered their class.
“Yep. Ugh, did you have to pick a chair all the way in the back?” Holly asked as their classmates shot them weird looks.
“Yeah, sorry. Anyway, we’ll talk later.” Az said before plopping down on his seat.
He was about to take out his notebook, but Ryan popped into his field of view with a naughty smile.
“Damn… I envy you. It hasn’t even been a week and yet you’ve bagged two model-level babes.” Ryan said.
“I’m getting a bit tired of this. Listen, there’s nothing going on between Holly and I,” Az said rather intensely.
“Hehe, fine. Anyway, get ready to get sweaty. The gym teachers are real muscle heads.” Ryan said as he walked back to his chair.
The school day began and between classes, Az found himself remembering Jades face as he worked.
He didn’t mind it though.
She seemed nice.
“Mr. Jelani, what do Mr. Achebe's findings suggest?” The Biology teacher asked.
“Uh… I’m not quite sure, sir.” Az said with an awkward smirk.
“I could tell. Focus on the immediate young man.” The teacher said.
“Yes, sir,” Az said before the school day resumed.
.
..
Lunch break eventually arrived and all students were instructed to change into their gym clothes.
The school had a rather inclusive program where children of all make could participate in at least one type of sports.
But Az had all his limbs and so he assumed that he would be partaking in the more general activities.
Az got changed into the school gym tracksuit.
It kinda emphasized his size, but he didn’t mind.
Az joined his class in the gymnasium, where they patiently awaited the arrival of the gym teachers.
“Nervous?” Holly asked.
“No, why?” Az asked.
“I dunno, I just thought that you’d hate sports-"
Holly gasped upon poking Az’s triceps to find that they were rather firm.
“Wow, do you work out?” Holly asked.
“Whenever I can. I’m just trying to keep my weight down. Unfortunately, thanks to my metabolism, it's an uphill battle.” Az said.
“Mmm… maybe I should check my weight as well,” Holly said as she pinched the sides of her belly.
“Alright everyone, stand about an arm's length apart.” One of the two gym teachers said and just like Ryan said.
They were total beefcakes.

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely. The Moons, bristling from repeated defeats, are looking for new recruits, and the Seekers of Life are prime cannon fodder. Above all, destiny marches on, the unfeeling clock a warning to all. The Trial of Aeons will soon arrive. Book 10: Destiny Divine Synopsis: ??? Release frequency: one every few days or something, I guess. Magic is Overrated
This is a side project I am starting for my own amusement. It's not meant to be serious but it can be. I'll post a chapter when I feel like and chapter lengths simply depend on how much I want to write. I don't even know where the story will go so you can say it will be an adventure for myself and any readers. This story is how I relieve my stress and cynical ideals so you have been warned.Synopsis: When the entire world is run on principals of magic and every person born a mage one boy can't help but despise it. This story is about his struggles and failures with his """"shitty"""" magic. He also is a member of a high ranking noble house filled with freaks. This can only go horribly wrong.Warning: Crude language and sexual situations. Along with crazy mishaps.
