Daisuke said “Start with my next opponent; I didn’t watch the person’s fight”. Tian air tapped a tab and it expanded into a 3 dimensional view of the battle between a [Rank 20 Frost Giant (Hyrrokkin)] [Celestial] and a [Rank 25 Human Variant: Witch (Avian)] [Mythical].

The two were both females with the Giant towering at a height of 13 feet. Her skin looked to be made of snow. She wore a pair of black trousers, black shoes with golden patterns and a black armor gown with golden engravings.

She dragged a long sword that had a blade made of ice and a golden hilt behind her in her gloved black hand. Her eyes were blue and her hair was white. Her face was expressionless as she walked away, creating the appropriated distance from the Witch.

The Witch had a very large and pronounced pointed nose. Apart from the nose she had all the features of a young Indian woman in her mid 20s. She wore a pair of jeans and a black jacket, making her look more like a member of the audience rather than a contestant.

The host announced the beginning of the fight once both of them had made enough distance and were facing each other. The shadow of the giant morphed and a large white wolf came out of it. The wolf reached the waist of the giantess when it was on all fours.

It ran towards the witch while the giantess sluggishly pulled her sword from behind her to her front. The Witch smiled softly as swatches of black energy oozed from her body and formed black birds with red eyes.

The birds hovered around the witch for a while before darting towards the approaching wolf. The birds seemed to turn to beams of black energy due to their velocity as they traced paths towards the wolf.

The birds froze when they came within 2 meters of the wolf and fell to the ground. The wolf didn’t give the witch time to think as it opened its mouth and spewed out a gust of cold winds. The witch hastily created a large black bird of a similar size to the wolf. The bird spread its wings, tanking the damage for the witch. The cold winds created ice crystals at its point of contact with the bird. The next moment the bird was completely frozen.

The witch showed a confused and worried expression as things had quickly gotten out of hand. She had absolutely no control over the bird now that it was completely frozen.

Snow and frost covered the floor as the wolf approached the witch who began to shiver. Her ability to control energy seemed to fail due to her condition. She kept creating swatches of black energy but they froze even though she was still more than 2 meters away from the wolf.

The witch’s shivering intensified as the wolf got closer. She tried to step back but fell on her butt as she shivered. It was unclear whether it was fear or the cold that made her shiver.

The witch’s shivering died down as ice began to cover her once the wolf was within two meters of her. Ice emerged from different parts of her skin and covered her until she almost became an ice statue.

A force field bubble covered the woman’s head and the host listened to a psychic message before declaring the giantess the winner of the fight.

Mira and Daisuke momentarily shivered as the video ended. Tian chuckled at their reaction and said “She either has a Soul Mandala or a Soul Glyph from what I see. It freezes her opponents when they are freaked out by her as seen with the witch. I can’t say if it is responsible for freezing the birds though”.

“Soul Glyph, Feng had one of those, what are they?” Mira asked. Tian said “They are the mature form of the soul ability which we all possess”. Daisuke was the most confused about this revelation, he asked “What’s all these soul things you’re talking about”.

Mira said “Your soul isn’t stable? No it has to be. You won’t have been able to handle my attacks without screaming and running mad without a stable soul”. Daisuke thought back to the times after he heard Gog’s roar which made his soul tremble. Over time his soul had stabilized and he had gained access to his soul realm but he didn’t know what it was, he didn’t know that was what they were talking about. He thought it was an ability that was unique to him.

Daisuke said “Oh that! It allows me focus my attacks and even my entire being, to extreme levels”. Mira said “Mine allows me to create the shining diamonds. The shining diamonds can draw anyone I target toward me, apart from being extremely hot”.

Tian said “Since we’re all revealing, mine allows me to make the effects of my spells permanent. Although it has a cool-down time and my father proved to me that it can be broken with the right procedures”.

Mira said “She is a celestial grade too, that means she must have really high stats”. Daisuke said “If I can make speed the deciding quality, her other stats won’t matter but that’s the problem, I don’t know what she might bring to the table that could counter me. How many of those wolves can she even make?”.

Mira said “Looking on the bright side she knows nothing about your capabilities. Put yourself in her shoes as she watches the replay of your fight, she probably has no idea about what you can do. This is the advantage you have over her”.

Tian said “Mira is right. Soul Glyph and all, I believe the battle will be way easier than we are anticipating. I’m sure Feng put her against you so early because he is sure you can beat her. She must have a flaw that you don’t have”.

Daisuke said “Or Feng could have put me against her because I have a flaw that she doesn’t have and that flaw is that my soul ability is still immature compared to her soul glyph”.

Tian said “Or that”. Mira said “Regardless, getting cold feet will literally allow her give you cold feet. Since she is so powerful you need to sacrifice something to beat her. You’re gonna have to reveal you speed in the next fight so you can use the surprise to your advantage. Who knows, you might one shot her”.

Daisuke said “That’s a good idea”.
