Mira said “Glass Empire?” Bella explained “When we were freeing Northern Nigeria we found these people, they had quite a good number of Mythical Grade race members and they had an extremely hierarchical society. They had freed most of Northern Nigeria and Southern Chad.

We, the APT, wanted to fight them since we didn’t like the idea of them keeping people who hadn’t evolved as slaves and treating people based on their race grade. Even if they didn’t match us in the number of Mythical races, they had one Celestial Grade race member and we didn’t want a blood bath when the monsters were still around so we decided to leave them. A lot of monsters have died and we can probably fight them but a lot of our people will certainly die in the fight so we can’t wage war against them since there is split in the decision of whether to fight or not.

Some of those against the war believe there’s just no benefit to saving a bunch of humans while others believe their society will crash on its own since it is so fundamentally stupid. But I prefer taking action so I’m pro-war but many people value their lives more than their emotions unlike me.”

Bella stopped speaking but was a little creeped out as she sensed a deep dark emotion in Mira; Wrath. Bella said “Don’t do anything crazy, no one ever chooses the Glass Empire when they get to Nigeria, most people come to either the APT or Terrania. Terrania didn’t subscribe to the idea of fighting the Glass Empire. They said it was Lara that decided that they wouldn’t fight; a decision which I don’t understand”.

Mira said “She is allowed to decide whatever she wants for herself and the people that are willing to follow her command but I’m not standing by and watching. I’ll go and see if I can stomach what they do before deciding what I’ll do about them. Do you want to join me?”

Bella was silent for a long minute and sighed before saying said “You have no idea how much I want to but I’m a major member of the APT so invading their land will be pinned on the APT and war can either breakout or I’ll be kicked from the APT. For now, I don’t want to go yet. The best thing I’m doing here now is taking people from Northern Chad so that they don’t get more slaves. I’m pretty sure there might be powerful settlements in Egypt or Libya and my path takes me to Egypt, I’m hoping those people might contain their expansion”.

If Terrania decided to support then there is no problem since there would be no casualties but for some stupid reason Lara won’t budge on fighting the Glass Empire” She looked at Mira and said “It’s as you said when we wanted to kill Jimoh ‘You can fight them only when you are strong enough’. For an enemy that requires the entire ATP, I don’t see the both of you winning”.

Mira looked at Funmi and said “After we find a powerful settlement in Egypt we’ll go on a tour of the Glass Empire and see if they are worth leaving alone. I’m Rank 27, if I can’t have the freedom to do the good I want to do then what was the point of all the en-code and evolution?”

Bella sighed; she now knew the extent to which Mira was willing to take this. She said “Anyways let’s keep moving”.

4 days passed and they found some hiding or enslaved people and directed them to Nigeria. All the while Bella always used the Voidium Fenrir to escort the people back like she had an infinite amount of the monster. Noticing the anomaly, Mira asked her how it was possible. Bella said there was only one Voidium Fenrir and it had the ability to warp distance was why it could escort the people back to a far away country within minutes and be available after that.

After the 4 days they reached Northern Egypt where they were met by a black man with the head of a Falcon with blue eyes. Their IPs denoted the man as a [Rank 20 Semi-Conceptual Being: Horus]. He sighed and said “The first thing I see when I wake up is you guys. What do you want?”

The three girls looked at each other questioningly before Bella said “We are here to make connections and to free people from monsters. What is your name?”.

Since many people had evolved into God-knows-what races it was important to check for humanity in any creature they met instead of attacking when it looked strange. Hence asking for names was the first step to knowing if they were human before or just monsters who had given themselves name which surprisingly enough, there was a lot of, Bella and Funmi where initially betting on whether they would encounter named or unnamed monsters.

The Horus said “My name is Chenzira. What are yours?” Bella said “I am Bella” she pointed at Funmi and Mira and said “This is Funmi and that’s Mira” when her finger reached each of them.

Bella continued and said “We’re from Nigeria. How has the Event been for you guys”. Chenzira said “We mostly hid at the beginning but the monster that was the highest Ranked calmed down after a while and became very accommodating. It actively searched for humans so that we could teach it different things about our culture, history, weapons, arts and anything that was intellectual in nature in exchange for its protection.”

Bella and the others were quite shocked as they had never heard of such a unique behavior in monsters. Bella said “Can I assume the monster is now the ruler of Egypt?” Chenzira said “More like Guardian. She just ensures that no creatures within her territory, Cairo and the periphery are not killed”. Mira said “So it’s a female, King job?”

Chenzira nodded and said “No, Noble. I’m the leader of the settlement in Giza , Gold Lands. I saw you people approaching so I decided to meet you here”. Bella said “Oh, that’s nice. Actually we wouldn’t mind a tour of your city. We promise not to cause any problems”.

Chenzira smiled and said “No problem but you must spar with me. I’ve just finished evolving so a good fight should warm me up”. Bella was quite surprised and was about to turn down his proposal when Funmi said “NO PROBLEM! I’LL HELP”. Mira asked “Mythical or Celestial?”Chenzira answered “Celestial”.

Mira smiled and said “Great, I’ll entertain you then!” Funmi looked at Mira with a What-the-fuck-man expression on her face but Mira smiled and said “Flip a coin?” Funmi said “There’s no coin”. Mira put her hand inside the rocky ground and pulled out a small piece of rock and shaped it into a coin. She wrote ‘heads’ and ‘tails’ on each side with her claws and said “Choose”.

Funmi said “TAILS” Mira nodded and flipped the coin before Funmi could understand the foolishness of her agreement. The moment the rock coin left Mira’s silver palms Funmi knew it would land on heads. She realized that this would have been a bet to a normal human or High Human but to someone like Mira, with such high intelligence and body control, flipping a coin to land on a specific face was as easy as pressing a button. Funmi said “I DON’T WANT TO DO THIS! LET BELLA DECIDE!” before the coin could reach its maximum height. Mira laughed and Bella chuckled at the side and said “I choose Mira”.

Funmi deflate sighed and jumped back a few kilometers after which Bella followed her while chuckling. Mira expanded back to her full size as her body became red and scalding hot. Bella and Funmi were shocked as they didn’t know about Mira’s natural size.

The ground under Mira turned to lava which replaced her cloths that had incinerated because of how hot she was. She floated a few meters in the air. Red fur covered her entire body and face, after which black plasma arcs were generated by her claws and teeth. She told Chenzira 'I’m ready' with a psychic message. He smiled and said “Come!”
