《Era: Dawn of the New Gods》Chapter 177: Asgardian (Space) (Heimdallr)

Jade thought ‘Space, space, space, space. Just because I’m good at manipulating it doesn’t mean I want to be a one trick pony. What if I want to branch into time? What if I want to understand the true essence of Magic? I evolved too early I guess, but I had no choice. I’m gonna torture that Parasite if I ever get the chance!’
Jade calmed down after a moment of silence and thought ‘Which options have the most potential for diversity?’
[New World Titan has the most potential for diversity, followed by the space attuned Asgardian and the Space soul. Would you like a detailed description of the evolution options?]
Jade thought ‘Yes’
[Asgardian (Space) (Heimdallr): Heimdallr, the watchman and gatekeeper of Asgard.
Asgardians are a race of celestials that have natural attunements to various concepts. The body of an Asgardian is extremely sturdy, powerful and flexible. They are the perfect race for anybody that uses their body to fight.
The body of an Asgardian does not wear with time and even improves the older they get. Hence Asgardians don’t die of age and get stronger simply by living. The quality of food an Asgardian eats helps determine how fast their body improves with age or with training.
The body of an Asgardian doesn’t come with many special abilities hence they are unlimited when it comes to options on what path their body takes to improve. Whether regular martial arts, cellular body control, body forging, aura manipulation, etc Asgardians can train their body to do any of them.
The mental faculties (Sense and Intelligence) of an Asgardian are not as malleable as their bodies. They are naturally born with talents towards specific things and cannot easily change. Through study and soul trials an Asgardian can acquire talent in a different aspect than what he/she was born with.

The talent of an Asgardian causes the Asguardian to gain more prowess in the field he/she is talented in without any study or training. Training and study help to increase the rate at which the Asgardian improves his/her prowess.
The energy organ of Asgardians doesn’t possess cosmic energy but can grow to possess it if they have the right training and talent. Asgardians do not have a limit to their potential hence their stats have no limiting value. Most Asgardians, including Heimdallr, possess natural Holy Aura attribution without any Aura profiecency.
The soul of an Asgardian can manifest as an ability, weapon, or organ in the material world with special abilities, they are called Soul Extensions.
Asgardians come with a general special talent depending on the clan they are born into. There are two clans namely the Aesir and Vanir clan.
Heimdallr is of the Vanir clan, which is the peace loving faction. The general talent of this clan gives them two advantages. The first is a high amplification to their stat and prowess growth depending on how peaceful their mind and environment is. The psychic energy in the environment and in their mind combines together and nourishes the body and mind of the Vanir Asgardian. For this reason many Vanir spend long periods meditating to achieve inner peace.
The second advantage is their perception of time. Vanir clan members have a very advanced perception of time which allows them to foresee certain events that are bound to happen even in the chaotic flow of time. They can also see glimpses of the past of various objects, situations, persons, etc. Because of this most Vanir clan members make good diplomats or investors as they are nigh-impossible to trick and almost always know the best steps to take for future profit.
The side effect of this talent is that they are bipolar; they feel little emotion compared to a normal person but when they get emotional they are extremely so.

Heimdallr is an exception to the rule that Asgardians are not born with special abilities. He is a Freak classified as a Jotun. His body is partially made of light radiations giving him partial light manipulation abilities. And his eyes do not require light to see, allowing him to see in the empty darkness of space.
Heimdallr’s mind has a natural talent for an Erudite level branch of the concept of Space called Realm. Realm is a combination of Master level Space concepts and Basic level Reality concepts. This allows Heimdallr to create rainbow bridges and other conceptual constructs associated with Realm as his understanding of the concept of Realm increases.
Heimdallr’s senses are one of the 3 most advanced senses among all the Celestial race options. His senses are always connected to any place he has been to and constantly monitor the happenings in these places on an atomic and subatomic level. In essence wherever the light of his body touches he hears and sees what happens there all the time as if he is everywhere; with no depreciation in the quality of information.
Heimdallr’s Soul Extension is a horn called Gjallarhorn; it can draw in the mind and senses of any creature that has touched it and project it in a certain location of his choosing. It can also send and receive psychic transmissions to and from any creature that has touched it regardless of any obstruction between Heimdallr and his target. It also allows him to send psychic transmissions to every creature in a place that he has been to.
Heimdallr’s has a Profound grade familiar, a horse named Gulltoppr. It is a space-astronomical familiar with the abilities of spatial leaping, star eating and energy synergy. Spatial leaping allows Gulltoppr to instantly teleport itself and anything it is carrying to any location it has been to before regardless of the distance. Star eating allows Gulltoppr to consume and digest high amounts of energies even as high as the energy in stars. Energy synergy causes the energy in Gulltoppr’s body and energy organ to be exactly the same as its rider.
Gulltoppr is usually sent to explore the unknown parts of space. It can run for eons without tiring and can refill its stamina and energy by consuming any matter. Heimdallr then mounts Gulltoppr and revisits all the places it has been to, adding them to the places he monitors. Gulltoppr also acts as a nigh infinite energy source for Heimdallr.
Starting State (Boundless):
Strength: Grade 4 (High)
Agility: Grade 5 (High)
Stamina: Grade 5 (High)
Durability: Grade 4 (High)
Intelligence: Grade 6 (High)
Senses: Grade 8 (High)
Energy: Grade 6 (High)
Biomass: Grade 4 (Mid)
Reality: Grade 1 (Low)
Life span: ∞]
Jade finished reading the description. He left the assessment of the race until he saw the other races. He asked ‘What is this Reality stat? Why is it so low? And what’s up with all this grades? What’s this boundless tag?’
[Reality: The amalgamation of a Transcendent sense stat. When a sense becomes an integral part of one’s being (body, mind and soul) it becomes the reality stat. It indicates the reality that the owner of the stat is immersed in. Heimdallr’s reality are the Realms his senses are connected to. The stat is low because you have not added any realms to your monitoring range.]
[Boundless: …]
Jade read the information pertaining to the boundless tag and said ‘Next option’.

Ravyn's Nights - Book 2
Claire's life led her to love. Love led her to death. Death began her eternal struggle to retain both her love and her humanity through 5 centuries of endless nights. Book 2 covers the 18th century. "Ravyn's Nights" is a six book series, with each book covering a different century. Book 6 was actually started first, and it takes place in the near future, bringing the story to a final conclusion. I then started writing the rest of the series when I decided that I wanted to share the details of the life that made her into who she is in Book 6. At the time of posting the first chapter of the series, books 1-2-3 are completed and books four, five and six are in various states of completion. There is currently a novella following a side character that does include a few crossover chapters featuring the main character. The novella will be included in the completed versions of books 4 and 5.
