《Era: Dawn of the New Gods》Chapter 132: Improvement and Meeting

The scientific knowledge that Jake’s city sent was vast, covering all the fields Jade was interested in; Biology, Medicine, Engineering, Chemistry and Physics. There was even knowledge up to the professorate degree in some of them but they weren’t specialized for weapons. Still they were enough for Jade, his 100 billion maximum en-code of intelligence wasn’t just an ornament. Now he didn’t need university level knowledge since he already had all of them.
Jade spent 2 weeks absorbing the scientific knowledge from both the sanctuary and Jake’s city. Yes 2 weeks to learn what would have taken a normal person his whole life time to learn. This speed was only possible because of Jade’s higher intelligence, obviously but it was mostly due to psychic technology. The mental messages gave Jade the direct understanding of what they contained so Jade wasn’t just reading it was more like knowledge was being uploaded into his mind all he had to do was sort them out.
During that time he had made 3 self recovering katanas for Daisuke and had kept the 30 broken swords in a machine that recorded their decomposition into light. He had also returned to the room at regular intervals so that no one would be freaked out when they saw nobody in the room.
Jade spent the week after learning making production lines for various weapons and armor. The weapons he made weren’t limited to close range and long range weapons. Tactical weapons like drones and robots that could be controlled remotely were also made complete with missile, traps and other weapons of modern war made with monster parts and Magic plus science technology.
Jade knew, from Mira’s experience that powerful weapons didn’t give people the chance to learn skill and the like but the people in Flower city were addicted to peace and could get it from Yubi. They needed easy ways to kill monsters not hard earned skills and hard to train Magic.

After 3 weeks of waiting Yubi still hadn’t returned to her city and Denjiro kept saying she was busy with very important matters ignorant to the fact that Jade knew she wasn’t around.
Jade wasn’t bothered by her absence and continued learning. During the 2nd week Jade found himself having weird ticks and small behaviors that he didn’t recognize or even found himself questioning small actions wondering whether they were his habits or a result of memory loss due to the Soul Parasite.
As a solution, Jade recorded all his actions and reviewed them at the end of each week to create new memories and to ensure he didn’t lose his personality completely. It was just a stop gap but anything that could slow down the disappearance of his personality was fine by Jade.
Jade classified the sanctuary’s Magic as Hot Weapon Magic. Many of the spells where very suitable at creating magical versions of new gen weaponry although there were outlines like Deji, Funmi, Jola and Anita’s magic.
After making the production lines Jade absorbed the information about Aura Martial art from Jake. The knowledge was very useless to Jade and could only be traded.
Jake denoted the Major Aura arts he had discovered, they were things that Jade had seen before in monsters but didn’t understand well himself. But reading Jake’s teachings on them showed Jade that he had reached his limits when it came to Aura weaponry.
The first art was Aura Attribution. It allowed the user to imbue emotions in their aura which gave the aura special properties depending on the emotion. The effects of Aura Attribution increased the deeper and more meaningful the emotion fueling it was. If the user used an emotion that they weren’t very familiar with or didn’t feel strongly no effect would show at all. These effects would overlap with the effects of Aura activation.

Mira added notes of how the aura users of the city had created aura beams out of attributed auras and used them to attack tortoise monsters with low energy resistance shells. From the skill description Jade learnt that the knowledge was only worthwhile to Aura users, which he wasn’t.
The 2nd Aura art was Aura Manifestation. Aura manifestation created items out of aura. Aura Manifestation involved molding one’s aura after a significant part of their personality. Jake noted that he was only capable of manifesting 2 parts of his personality so his aura manifestation was still incomplete, partial.
Needless to say Jade had no hope of ever using those skills. Jake had already discovered Aura activation but he didn’t put it in the message since Jade already knew about it.
Blood Magic was Jade’s next focus, the spells in blood Magic had different patterns compared to the sanctuary’s Hot Weapon Magic. Blood Magic hosted 33 basic patterns with only 7 of them resembling the patterns of Hot Weapon Magic.
Charlotte put a special message after the description of the basics of Blood Magic. Blood Magic unlike Hot Weapon Magic wasn’t a reward for a hidden mission. It was a natural capability Charlotte discovered after she evolved to become an Original Vampire.
She instinctually knew how to create the 33 basic patterns and combine them to get various effects. As her intelligence and energy stat increased she became able to access more magic but her progress had stopped for some time. No matter how much she improved she just didn’t get any spells by instinct.
The reason why she chose to trade with Jade was so that in exchange, he would create more spells for her since Mira had told her that he could create spells after studying the basic patterns.
Jade focused on studying Blood Magic and a week passed before Denjiro alerted him that Yubi was ready to see him.
Jade and Daisuke were escorted to a large and luxurious hall and Jade’s first impression was ‘Does she have to be so pretentious. We could have just met in an office’ but his impression changed when he saw Yubi.
She had green hair and eyes and the iconic pointy ears but the rest of her features were like most Japanese; straight short hair, yellow skin, all the same. Expect she was 9 feet tall. Jade’s IP denoted her as [Rank 11 Primordial Elf]. Jade thought ‘So that’s why the need the large hall, she’s so big’
Yubi wore a light green robe and had her energy zone compressed like Jade and she said “Nice to meet you Jade. This is my first time seeing a Primordial Human that is a Hunter”. Jade smiled, replied “Nice to meet you” and changed his race description back to his original race.
