Daisuke sheathed the first katana in one of his sheathes and said “This is the first form. I call it Crescent Moon”. Daisuke stood beside the tree he was aiming to cut with the hilt of the katana on his right and the tree on his left as he held the katana with his with his right hand.

He disappeared in a flash of light, a vertical crescent of white light formed through the middle of the tree he aimed for and he reappeared in the same position with his knees and waist bent in a slight crouch and the katana unsheathed and held horizontally under his knees almost touching the ground.

Tree he hit featured a vertical line that slit its trunk in two from front to back and even cut the ground in front of it a bit. Jade thought ‘It creates a light blade extension that cuts and burns in a vertical slash, he only cut with the tip of the katana the light blade did the rest. His movement speed skyrockets but even thought there is a flash of light he isn’t moving at the speed of light or I wouldn’t have been able to see him but he is moving very fast, too fast for a Rank 6. That’s why the hits are so light, high acceleration but low mass’

Daisuke said “Your katana is quite heavy but it’s tough. My katanas usually break after a full power use of any of the forms. They can last two uses if I hold back”. Jade said “Ok”

Daisuke took another stance. It was the same stance he had when he attacked Jade a second time. He used two katanas this time, he disappeared in a flash of light and reappeared some meters in front both katanas pointing forward and a beam of light pierced the tree in front of him and continued going through any obstacle until it was outside their view. The beam of light lasted for about 10 seconds before dimming.

Daisuke looked at the swords in surprise and said “They’re really tough” Jade said “Of course they’re tough, I made them”. Daisuke chuckled and said “Maybe I’ll be able to use my 3rd form with full power for the first time; the other katanas usually break before I complete the movements. What I just showed is the 2nd form; Laser Thrust”

Jade nodded and thought ‘The flash of light is a result of his the energy in his energy zone turning into light. He controls the light with his movements but I really can’t see how such is possible, it’s very unscientific’

Daisuke put the third katana in his mouth, held horizontally by his teeth, and sheathed the other two katanas. One’s hilt was on his left while the other’s was on his right, the scabbards all lined horizontally on his back. He bent his knees and waist and waited for a while as his hand hung at his sides without holding the katanas and he breathed slowly.

He disappeared in a flash of light, many sparkles appeared on the tree he was targeting and he reappeared behind the tree with two katanas in his hand and nothing in his mouth. The third katana fell behind him without spinning and landed vertically, piercing the ground. The trunk of the tree he targeted featured a grid of cuts as it fell apart under the weight of its leaves and branches; the trunk had been diced.

Daisuke said “3rd form: Star Field” Jade thought ‘Profound’. The two swords in Daisuke’s hands shattered like glass and the third sword in the ground featured some cracks.

Jade thought ‘The way he turns energy into light is similar to Mira but different. Mira doesn’t turn her energy into actual explosions she turns her energy into a form that causes explosions in any matter they find themselves in. Daisuke thought turns his energy into actual light. And not only that he controls light that’s why it appears as if he is disappearing; the light his body emits goes into his attacks also which makes him temporarily invisible’

Jade asked “Can you turn energy to light, without using a form?” Daisuke answered “No, it’s Light Kendo not Light magic”. Jade said “True” and went to the shattered blades on the ground.

He used Horus to analyze the two shattered blades and the slightly cracked blade. Jade thought as he analyzed ‘The mass of all the blades have reduced. Where did they go to?’ Jade searched the space around where Daisuke had performed the 3rd form with Horus but he found nothing.

Jade thought ‘I watched him with Horus so nothing should have escaped my notice’. Jade further analyzed the shattered blades and noticed what happened ‘Some parts of the blade are turning to light. It’s even happening now but at a slower pace’.

Jade stood up and thought ‘Ground breaking, matter turning into light which is a considered both energy and matter. This is totally worth researching’. Jade smiled as he sent the shattered blades and the cracked blades to a room in his Portal storage.

Jade looked at Daisuke in amazement but Daisuke only returned a look of confusion. Jade said “Your martial art doesn’t just turn energy into light, it turns matter also into light”

Daisuke replied “So?” Jade’s eyes widened in surprise as he thought ‘He doesn’t know his own value’ but he still answered “Many Martial Arts and Magic exist but this is the first one I’ve seen that blatantly and directly breaks the laws of physics”.

Daisuke dryly said “So it would be useful to physicists?” Jade answered dryly after noticing Daisuke’s lack of knowledge on the subject “Yes”. Daisuke nodded and said “So when can I get my katanas”. Jade shook his head in disappointment and said “In a day. I can make a katana with an elemental core so even if the blade breaks it’ll just repair itself. But I want to get to a settlement first is there anyone around here?”

Daisuke frowned and said “Of course there’s a place but I’m not sure you’ll want to go there. They don’t fight a lot there, they prioritize safety and community and all that stupid shit, I’ll show you the place but I’m leaving after that”

Jade said “There’s no need, if that’s how they are then I’ll leave after I’ve gotten what I want” Jade pondered for a moment before saying “How do they have peace during the event? Don’t the monsters attack them?”

Daisuke said “They’re under the protection of Satoshi; his spawns can kill anything below Rank 21”. Jade’s eyes widened as he thought ‘The highest Ranking Human!’
