June 3, 2083 12:00 AM. The IP’s of every human and monster said ‘Congratulations on surviving for so long. A species evaluation will begin…’
[Species Evaluation: Human]
[Original population: ~18 Billion
Current population: ~7 Billion
Survival Ratio: ~0.39
Comment: The survival Ratio is higher than expected. There were unnoticed elements that greatly boosted the survival ratio.
Expected Survival Ratio: ~0.1
Survival Grade: A
Highest Ranking Member’s Rank: Rank 21
Most Common Rank: Rank 3
Comment: The Highest Rank was as expected but the species’ Most Common Rank is far lower than expected. This is because many of the species survived due to the unnoticed elements.
Expected Most Common Rank: Rank 6
Rank Grade: D
Total Grade: C+]
[Species Evaluation: Monster]
[Original population: ~150,000
Current population: ~100,000
Survival Ratio: ~0.7
Comment: The survival Ratio is higher than expected.
Expected Survival Ratio: ~0.4
Survival Grade: A
Highest Ranking Member’s Rank: Rank 30
Most Common Rank: Rank 5
Comment: There was no expectation for the Highest Rank. The Most Common Rank is lower than expected.
Expected Most Common Rank: Rank 7
Rank Grade: B
Total Grade: B+]
[Final Species Evaluation Comment: Really?]
Many people were angry at what the IP was showing them. Whoever controlled the IPs thought their lives were just numbers, it treated this tragedy as a simple school test, grading their suffering and effort like it was just a pointless statistic.
If they could remove the IP they would have but they had no idea how to. While most people were angry at what was happening the humans and monsters that were Rank 7 and above saw a message others didn’t see.
[Job Evaluation]
The Job Evaluation was not separated like the Species Evaluation. It begged the question, does the force that created the apocalypse considered Rank 7 humans monsters? Or does it considered Rank 7 monsters human?
[Job Distribution:
Soldier: 0%
Conqueror: ~80%
Knight: ~19%
Noble: ~0.99%
Advertisement
Hunter: ~0.01%
Most Common Job: Conqueror
Comment: The results are as expected.
Job Performance:
Conqueror: Low (Average)
Knight: Average (Low)
Noble: High (High)
Hunter: Pinnacle
Explanation: Job Performance is determined by how properly the owners of each job performed their job. Conquerors must conquer, Knights must protect their superior’s interests, Nobles must protect their subjects, and Hunters must hunt.
Comment: The performance of the Conquerors and Knights are lower than expected and the performance of the Hunters is far higher than expected.
Expected Job Performance:
Conqueror: High (High)
Knight: High (High)
Noble: High (High)
Hunter: High (High)]
[Final Job Evaluation Comment: Good great job Hunters. It seems the Conquerors need some motivation]
Jade, like many humans, was shocked when he saw the final comment. He thought ‘Is this what the monsters were going for? How did they know this would happen?’
The IP of every creature said ‘Final message incoming’. The IP was silent for a few seconds before a smooth voice that sounded like a woman’s voice sounded in their heads.
‘It seems that many of you humans think this is Power Rangers or something. Where the monsters come out once an episode and only do the same things over and over again and no one gets hurt. If so many of you survived how it that the Monster population is higher than predicted. Did most of you just hide?... This will be remedied.
The Hunters have done marvelously. As expected of Hunters. The Hunter’s will be rewarded. The Nobles have done well. The Conquerors seem to be on strike and because of the hunting of the Conquerors the Knights have gotten a relatively lower rating. How selfish!... This will be remedied.’
When the voice stopped speaking, there was silence all over the earth. How was this being going to remedy all the problems it had noticed? The monsters were different from the humans this result was what they expected, they were ecstatic.

The voice of the IP returned to the heads of every creature, it said ‘Starting Job Advancement Event: World War 3 Coronation War’
[End of first volume: Tutorial]
{Excerpt from the article ‘WW3’ by Hayley the living lie and Gog the ever losing war, published by Avatari}
{WW3? That was a fucked up event. It was just a massacre disguised as a Job advancement event.
Many people who survived the first week of the apocalypse when monsters ran rampant were wimps. Few people had the guts to actually attack the monsters and undead that were wreaking havoc. The expected result that *** kept talking about was that it expected many more people to die and as a result the survivors would be strong and filled with a grudges toward the monsters hence the population of monsters would reduce greatly at the hands of the strong survivors.
But what happened was really funny. Haha, all of a sudden people would find new gen weapons or people would have stashed new gen weapons and used them to fight back the monsters that were relatively weaker compared to the ones attacking the military zones.
I’m sure many of you were saved by a group of people or a person who just happened to be illegally keeping new gen weapons or a small gang that happened to find a stash of new gen weapons in a random location. Suspicious right? These were the unnoticed elements *** was talking about in the Human species evaluation.
In its predictions, people were supposed to scrounge and only those who were ruthless enough were supposed to live. But many people survived, some people even had their whole family survive, with the stronger people protecting them, or within a territory filled with powerful monsters, they refused to kill monsters unless it was necessary.
The weird behavior of the conquerors who were mostly monsters would appear as though they were avoiding humans because of our low kill en-code. But as people grew stronger and got communities got a higher kill en-code they noticed that the monsters had completely stopped attacking them. This phenomena is best explained by someone else though.
…
After the first 7 day of our arrival, every monster that was a conqueror or didn’t have a Job got an inspiration to get a territory, keep it and never leave it. It wasn’t a message from *** it was an inspiration we all got.
All though the first week of the apocalypse puts monsters on top of the food chain, humans were still highly advantaged compared to us; they had centuries of war and development which we didn’t have. Our great instinct was a way for *** to keep us on equal footing with humans. Monsters are very instinctual and instincts sometimes can give premonitions, that was what made most of the monsters stay in one territory without leaving, it was the work of ***. There were monsters that got a higher ingenuity along the way and broke off from this habit but they were few.
Monsters might seem dumb because of the premonition that was given but that has never been the case. Although we never had years of history and experience to rely on we weren’t so dumb. Many Rank 7 and above monsters spied on human settlements with their spawns and learnt a lot from them. From the knowledge that the Rank 7 and above monsters gleamed they learnt to form alliances and some even made weapons, skills and traps.
The most useful information the Rank 7s and above learnt was the failing of spawns, spawns could not grow but children could, however only monster that had special achievements could reproduce. Many monsters learnt that the human species would eventually be superior to them because of this advantage. Hence they made a tacit agreement to first attack humans to stall their growth during the event.}
