Jade put on the full body suit, gloves and shoes he made from the Lesser Horus’s scales and wore the hoody made from the lion’s skin; his tailoring skill had improved during his time in the lab. Although he hadn’t learnt tailoring, with his high intelligence it was easy to improvise (No more loin cloths for this one).

He left the lab through the entrance. He exited the building that the lab was hidden under and found himself in a horde of undead. He hadn’t checked the surroundings when he came to the lab but he was happy with this development. ‘Nice, I get to test out my new capabilities right away’

Jade created a small portal with his dimensional bracelet, put his hand through the portal and brought out a long sword. The sword was completely black with some thin silver lines on its hilt. Jade infused the sword with energy and it lit up with a red aura, the aura was not like flames, it was like a blade of red light. The name of the sword was Orochi.

Jade swung Orochi and spun a full circle. The undead had just begun charging at him at this point. The aura on the blade extended out from the sword forming a rapidly spinning spiral of aura and headed toward the approaching undead as Jade spun.

The undead were bisected by the aura, showing no form of resistance to the attack as the aura went past the ones in front and still proceeded to cut the ones at the back.

‘Amazing! I just have to swing and they die’ Jade thought in joy as he was relieved of having to individually shoot them with a gun or cut them with his sword. Jade looked at the amount of en-code he had gained, it was trivial ‘I don’t want to waste time with these small fry, I can just take them out with a bomb. I need to get to the big boys’ he thought as he activated his spatial mapping earring.

The earring transferred the image of the area around him within a 1 kilometer radius. He analyzed the information and located the direction of the monsters. He licked his lips in anticipation of the fight that was about to start.

Jade leapt from where he was in the direction of the monsters, during his flight he saw a giant green python 5 times larger than the longest pythons, with glowing red patterns on its body and 5 eyes standing in a group of 62 humanoids the IP showed him the information of the monster [Rank 6 Grand Mineral Cobra].

Upon closer inspection Jade found out that the humanoids were divided into 3 groups, one group had four arms [Rank 5 Hive Brawler], another had claws and tails that had a clawed hand at the end [Rank 5 Hive Predator] and the last group had melee weapons made out of a pink metal ranging from swords to spears to clubs and hammers [Rank 5 Hive Gladiator].

The skin of the humanoids was covered in exoskeleton made of the same pink metal, their exoskeleton was not smooth, it was similar to armor and their skin had glowing blue patterns like the snake too.

While Jade was in the air he also saw that the undead where surrounding a building and he could sense a large creature inside with his energy sense.

Jade took out a glaive with his dimensional bracelet and descended with the glaive and sword in hand. He had equipped his space folding ring and had the coordinate shuffling system under his coat. He pulled out a helmet made from the Horus’s bones and wore it.

When the monsters and the undead notice him descending, they sent a barrage of ranged attacks toward him. The cobra shot a ray of heat and light energy toward him from all its 5 eyes, the Brawlers threw flying aura fists toward him and the Predators and Gladiators threw flying aura slashes at him.

Jade opened a huge portal with his bracelet in between him and the ranged attacks. The black portal swallowed all the attacks while obscuring the monsters’ view of Jade.

Jade, behind the portal, infused energy into the glaive, the glaive lit up with a white aura that looked like solid light. Jade swung the glaive while activating his distance folding ring and folded the distance between the glaive’s blade and the cobra’s neck. The name of the glaive was Ouki, Jade made it with the intention of it being able to cut through anything.

Ouki easily pierced through the cobra’s scales, the aura around it had extended a few meters making the blade look like a very long sword blade made of solid light. The cobra was instantly beheaded and Jade heard the IP confirm its death.

Jade’s feet touched the ground at the same time that the cobra’s head did. He energized his body while directing the heat generated from his body into Ouki which made it shine brighter.

The brawlers rushed toward Jade while the predators and the gladiators flanked Jade’s sides with the gladiators in front while the predators were behind. The undead below Rank 4 were retreating while the Rank 4 undead surrounded Jade and the Rank 5s.

‘What a good formation, they saw that I easily killed the Rank 6 monster and quickly came up with a plan… sadly it’s not going to matter what their plan is, it won’t work’ Jade thought as he smile and charged at the Brawlers.

When Jade was about to engage the front most brawler, he disappeared with a “MUDA!” He teleported to the middle of their formation and began to kill the predators.

The predator were fast but with Jade’s revamped energy control, he was way faster than them, he could now accurately control how much energy each of his muscle fibers got, he could also increase and decrease friction around himself and he could enhance himself with way more energy than his could previously as he had become more adept at doing it. This combination gave him a speed, strength and flexibility combination that was very unnatural.

The predators sent flying claw attacks towards Jade in an effort to create distance but Jade just switched locations with one of them instead of dodging with a “MUDA!”

Jade’s attacks unlike theirs never missed, he would use the space folding ring to teleport his attacks with perfect timing. Combined with the long reach of Ouki, the predators, which had poorer defense than their brethren, were helplessly massacred.

Their attacks couldn’t reach him but Ouki and Orochi’s aura always hit them at fatal spots. “MUDA, MUDA, MUDA, MUDA, MUDA, MUDA, MUDA, MUDA!!!!” Jade slaughter them in a frenzy.

Many predators died before the Rank 5s could change their formation. The Rank 4s had tried to protect the predators but they weren’t of much help as they just added to the body count.

The gladiators took the front line with the brawlers coming behind… but the front line, Jade, changed location and disappeared from their view.

Jade had been using the spatial mapping earring to find the location of the Hive minds by back tracking the psychic signals they were using to command the undead.

Jade found them hidden in secluded spots away from the battle field ‘these hive minds can observe the battle from the eyes of the other undead… just like Pain’ Jade thought as he dispatched them.

There were about 20 Hive minds they were all Rank 5 and they didn’t stay in the same spot as they could communicate through their psychic link and plan accordingly. Sadly for them these links were visible to Jade and he could see them as clearly as phone lines.

When all the Hive minds were dead Jade returned to the battle field and found it a mess. There was no formation, the undead were scattered, looking for Jade, as he had just killed 20 of their leaders which were at different positions, they didn’t know where to go. Jade took advantage of the lack of order and slaughtered them.

While he was fighting he was keeping an eye on the giant hive creature his earring had sensed hiding under a building. He noticed that the creature was moving away from their current location while remaining underground.

‘What a coward, I thought it would at least try to fight, it’s just sacrificing its army to secure its escape, it’s not a hero like the other monsters’ Jade thought before teleporting to the location of the hive creature.

It looked like a tomato; it had a somewhat spherical body and it moved with the tentacles it had below its body, it had holes, like all hive monsters do, all over its body that emitted grey fumes. There were undead with body parts that were evolved for digging around it around it helping it with its escape.

The IP showed it as [Rank 6 Hive Royal Womb]. Jade split the Hive Womb in half with Ouki. After killing the Hive Womb the undead rushed toward his location while he killed the digging undead which his IP designated as [Rank 3 Hive Miners].

The undead arrived and found Jade standing on a pile of corpses; Jade was about to store them in his bracelet. The undead foolishly charged at Jade, no formation, no order, nothing, there was a stampede as the undead seemed to want revenge for what Jade had done. Jade said “I swear, I was just doing tasks at electrical. I’m not the imp”.

He teleported an energy bomb, made with a mixture of the Horus's blood and gunpowder into the horde of undead. The Horus's blood could amplifiy the chemical properties of substance when pure energy passed through it. The bomb blew up and the tunnel collapsed, Jade had already teleported to the surface.

The behavior of the undead confused Jade as the previous horde he had fought ran when he killed the Hive monsters ‘Interesting, I’m sure there are still hive minds among them, why aren’t they running away?’ Jade wondered.

He checked his kill log and noted that mostly Rank 2 undead and below had died. He teleported back to the part of the tunnel that hadn’t collapsed, after a few minutes the remaining Rank 5 to Rank 3 undead came out of the rubble of the collapsed portion of the cave.

Jade killed all the survivors. After killing the undead and taking their bodies, night had come. Jade thought ‘This is such a chore, I should create a robot to handle these task’ Jade added making a corpse collecting robot to the list of things he had to do and teleported away from where he was.
