June 13, 2082. Jade felt hungry for the second time after his evolution. He had spent the past 3 months in his lab making weapons and exploring the uses of energy. He had achieved a lot during this time but he had never felt hunger during this period; the satisfaction from the lion’s meat had lasted since then.

During his time experimenting he had put all his en-code into intelligence to accelerate his improvement it had all vanished without much change, the IP had assured him that it wasn’t a waste, he just had to keep putting en-code into it and it would change eventually.

Jade’s intelligence didn’t improve but he improved in other areas.

The most impactful improvement was his technological advancement. Jade created a new technology from the parts of the Hive mind corpses which he called psychic technology.

When Jade experimented with the corpses, he explored the psychic energy bias; it was a form of energy that greatly affected the mind. The energy almost had no physical effect; no color, no sound, nothing, it could only be felt physically when one’s mind was subjected to the influence of a large amount of the energy.

Jade also discovered that psychic energy was not only present in the corpse of the Hive minds but also in his own mind to a lesser degree, when he infused his brain with energy, the psychic energy in his mind was amplified helping him to cancel out the psychic attack of the Hive mind.

Although the Hive minds only used their psychic energy on him as a form of attack, he discovered ways to use psychic energy more creatively. He created a new control system for his devices that allowed him operate them simply by thinking. He was inspired by the Hive mind’s abilities to control other undead without speaking.

He started out with switch a bulb on and off with his mind and improved to the point where he could create complex programs on his computer with just his mind. Apart from this, he created a psychic energy sensor which could sense the psychic energy in the minds of various creatures around him; a psychic radar of sorts.

The next technology he created was pure energy technology; Jade used the easily convertible trait of pure energy to rework various electronic devices.

He first created a sound amplifier that used energy instead of electricity. The energy sound amplifier was smaller and more effective than the electric version as the sound quality was not decreased no matter how much Jade increased the volume, unlike electronic amplifiers that lost sound quality in exchange for volume.

He then proceeded to rework other electronic devices from blenders to new gen weapons to his spatial devices. The reworked devices ran on an energy battery which Jade had to fill with his own energy, they were far more compact and worked far better than their electric predecessors and they were created with monster parts as some parts of monsters could conduct, store, convert and do other important things to energy.

Apart from Jade revamping his spatial technology he created a new spatial device it was the Spatial mapping earring: This earring utilizes pure energy technology, psychic technology and spatial technology. It can give the user a 3D model of the space around him within a radius of 1 kilometer. The device also includes technology for mapping out energy traces in the detection area.

The next important improvement was his energy manipulation abilities. Jade discovered when he asked his IP how he could get stronger, that the way he had been using energy was very crude. The heat transfer he did when facing the Lesser Horus was a technique he hadn’t used before because the idea never came to mind and as energy was still new to him.

The heat transfer technique he used proved to him that there was a difference between his energy even when converted and normal energy in his body. That his energy could convert pure energy to its own form by being close to it and even when his energy was converted he could still control it although to a lesser extent.

Jade then asked a question that he had ignored for a while, where in his body was the energy storing organ? He could always just generate energy whenever and wherever he wanted like his whole body was the organ. He also wondered how his energy sense worked.

Asking the IP question about the specifics of different things like how energy worked was fruitless as it just answered with a ‘No information is provided for that topic’.

He had to perform various tests to locate the organ as he could not see pure energy but the only test that gave some promise was when he checked his body with the spatial mapping device.

The device didn’t indicate that he had a new organ but it showed that there was a spatial distortion around him; the distorted area was a sphere with a radius of 250 meters that was centered on his head.

From Jade’s tests he found out that the energy storing organ was a separate dimension like a room that only stored energy, the room being the big 250 meter radius sphere. Jade also found out that his energy sense only worked well within the sphere, any energy outside the sphere was vague and hard to pinpoint.

The biggest discovery was that he could release pure energy from any point in the sphere and didn’t have to always release it from his body. The discovery was very helpful as he could now use his energy on his devices more efficiently.

He could also expand the energy organ which would increase his sensing range but would decrease the finesse of his energy control while the organ was expanded.

Jade asked the IP if there was ways to do something other than activate his weapons or enhance himself with energy. The IP told him ‘The possibilities are endless and only limited by the quality of the energy user’s intelligence, perception, energy amount and energy control proficiency’.

It didn’t tell him what exactly he could do, it never answered specific questions well and general questions were given vague answers. It was a bit frustrating but Jade ignored the IPs lack of capabilities.

Jade then began to practice energy control with the aim of converting energy without bringing it in close proximity with another form of energy.

He needed something else to do with his energy because he noticed, after discovering the nature of the energy organ that his energy was vast and he could only utilize a little portion of it by enhancing himself and activating his weapons; most of his energy was never used in combat, it just sat there doing nothing. So he sought a way to use more of it, but at the end of the 3 months he still hadn’t found a way.

The last and least improvement was his soul control; he hadn’t gained control of it even after 3 months of training with no sleep. He could sense his soul and direct his consciousness into it.

When he did this at first he found himself immersed in a sea, even though being under water should have given him PTSD but he was fine, everything in the sea felt familiar and comfortable, like they were a part of him.

There were various fishes in the sea, each fish was a memory or experience he had gone through. He could breathe and control himself very naturally even though he was immersed in water, he swam around the sea, exploring different memories and experiences his soul had gone through.

There were big fishes which represented impactful experiences like his family’s murder, the fish that represented it was a blue whale (I know whales aren’t fishes just go with it), there was also the experience of when he met the Infant Ocean Master which was, surprisingly to him, 3 times the size of the blue whale; it was what he assumed was a Megalodon.

The big fishes stayed at the brighter parts of the sea, Jade tried to reach above the sea level but after exploring for what felt like days, he found out that there was no way for him to get out of the sea. Jade went toward the darker section of the sea, he found memories and experiences he had forgotten; trivial memories, muscle memories, along with memories of his childhood going as far back as when he was a baby.

When Jade was done exploring the sea, he extended his consciousness out of his soul, he had spent so long there he wondered if he still remembered how to, but he did it.

When he came to, he looked at the time on his computer and found out that a day had passed, when he thought back to the time he spent in his soul he realize that it felt like had been there for 15 months, he didn’t have his bodily functions when he was in his soul so his sense of time was dulled.

When he entered his soul after that, the scenery he encountered was different every time; he could find himself in a mountain range with each rock representing his memories, a city, a circuit, a distorted dimension,… he never found himself in the same place, but the concept was always the same and he still couldn’t control the time he chose to spend there as when he entered his soul all his worries would go away along with his sense of time and urgency.

He kept practicing but he hadn’t made much progress and there was no slot for him to put en-code to improve his soul.

Jade spent the rest of his time improving his monster weapons (that’s what we’re calling the weapons made from monsters now) he had to modify his new gen weapons and some of the monster weapons and made them into crafting tools, which he used to craft better weapons. With his knowledge of energy technology, his weapons were no more just ordinary cold weapons enhanced by aura.

Distance folding ring: The same as the sphere but can has a max distance of 25km to 3.7cm.

Coordinate shuffling system: The system can tag anything; spaces, objects, itself, etc, and switch their coordinates as the user so desires. It can shuffle 32 target coordinates, 16 pairs, simultaneously. It works within a spherical region with a radius of 800 meters centered on the user.

Dimensional bracelet: The same as the suit case but can now generate portals of various sizes for transfer of items. The rooms are now 300m3 in size and there are now 42 rooms.

Spatial mapping ear ring: This utilizes psychic energy technology and spatial technology. It can give the user a 3D model of the space around him within a radius of 1 kilometer.
