---------------Jonah's POV--------------
"Put the Manacrystals on this side and after that we take a break and go back", said the team leader with his pickaxe in his hand.
"""Alright""", said the party like it was studied. It was not their first time, that much was sure.
I was mining crystals at the bright blue wall behind the copse of the Rat-Boss and his minions. It smelled pretty bad and I had to breathe in my jacket so I don't throw up on the spot. It was strange to see Manacrystals in the train station brickwalls, but if you really thought about it the whole system was strange, so I just took it as it was.
"Hey Jonah. Do you think we can each get an extra crystal? I mean there are at least 7 more than we need to finish the quest", said Jason, the boy who was talking to me the whole time in the dungeon. I was happy he was talking to me, otherwise it would have been pretty damn boring.
"Sorry but I don't think we will get an extra crystal Jason", I said with a smile to not make him too sad. He was so pure I bet he thought the hole time if he worked extra hard he would get a bonus. It pained me to see such a young boy, not even 15, doing mining work in a dungeon where you could lose your life like its nothing worth.

Jasons face instantly lost his shine and he looked down with his eyes going from hopeful to sad. I would give him my crystal if I get one at the end of the quest, but that wasn't really likely.
"Stop talking and finish mining or we won't get out of the dungeon before its night", said the Tank with a hella deep voice. I mean damn, could he be more generic? He was big too and had a buzz cut. He looked like a tank, that would be shown in a RPG trailer back when we still had internet.
"Of course I am sorry", I said with a smile and he hopefully won't talk about anymore. I never stopped mining while saying that to show him I meant it.
He just huffed and left. Could have been worse, I thought with a happy smile on my face.
...
Just before we finished I felt something strange. I have never felt like this. It felt like waves are behind me, if that makes any sense. I looked in the direction I felt it and saw Jason carrying some crystals.
I instinctively felt that it would not end good if he ends up walking on the waves for too long.
"JASON STOP", I shouted and ran up to him and pushed him out of the way, just before I heard an unearthly crack that came from the the ground.
The other members heart it too and looked at me just to see me falling down a huge crack in the ground that got bigger and bigger. Luckily Jason was already out of range, but I wasn't so lucky.
I fell down the dark hole until there was not a single bit of the blue light of the mana crystals left. I was trying to make sense of the situation until I saw a big bright blue lake near the ground where I am headed. I was trying my best to move myself in the air to land in the lake and hopefully survive the fall.

I was swinging my arms around like crazy for several seconds until I had around 20 meters left until I would hit the ground. At that point it just clicked in my head. I just knew how to move myself. I felt my mana move from my body to the skill. The skill moved me to the edge of the lake and dropped into it. Then everything went black...

Searcher
I was just like everyone else. At least, I thought so. Everyone grew up in a mansion with servants, trained to be a debutante, had a traveling archeologist for a father, and gave it all up to do whatever the hell they wanted. Right? Well that’s what I did. I was happy. As happy as a single twenty four year old girl can be living in an apartment selling shit online to pay the bills. Not actual shit, that's gross. No, I bought stuff from garage sales, thrift stores, and junk shops, and resold it in my online store. I was pretty good at finding stuff to peddle to my customers. I made rent every month and didn’t have to strip. I’m a bit too chunky to swing around a pole anyway. Life was great! Until two sexy men broke into my apartment and woke me up from the most erotic dream my sexually depraved mind could come up with. One was between my legs, the other was... Oh well, it was a dream and I didn’t even get to finish it. Those bastards! Now I’m supposed to believe my dead father wasn’t an archeologist, but some kind of paranormal agent working for a secret organization called The Guard. My ability to find items for my customers is just a perk inherited from him. And I’m supposed to use my inherited powers to save the world. All while these hunks of man flesh guard me from other paranormals out to get whatever the hell they think I have. A certain body part is dripping with excitement, literally. But my mind is saying “Hell No!”
