After witnessing this scene, whether it was Ether Church followers within the main hall or the other regular servants and imperial knights, all their doubts and suspicions instantly vanished and were blown away like a candle in the wind.
Even the most committed followers of the Ether Church with their strong fortified minds couldn’t help but become greatly alarmed after seeing this scene.
They could no longer deny it anymore or ignore it. The evidence was like a giant mountain right in front of their eyes.
The 13th Imperial Prince not only discovered and called out one but three Ether Church followers. Furthermore, these three people weren’t some new recruits.
They were all veterans that have infiltrated the Imperial Palace for more than a decade and were deep undercover. So, it was a shock for many of them when they saw that even their covers have also been blown, especially the new spies.
Looking at the expression of the people below, especially the Ether Church followers, Mikhail’s mouth couldn’t help but curve upward into a victorious smile.
*It seems like everything is flowing smoothly*
When Mikhail said that he knew the identities of all the Ether Church followers that have infiltrated the Imperial Palace as servants and Imperial knights, he was clearly lying.
The Eye of the Truth indeed allowed him to tell whether or not a person was an Ether Church follower. However, it had its restrictions.
Just like he was unable to see the stats of someone with the strength of a Noble Rank Knight and above, he was also unable to determine whether or not a person with the strength of a Noble Rank Knight was an Ether Church follower as well.
As such, he only knew the identities of those Ether Church followers whose strength was below the Noble Rank Knight, but not the Noble Rank Knights.
Though there weren’t many Noble Rank knights within the main hall, Mikhail suspected that one or two of them were Ether Church followers.
However, he didn’t which one of them was part of the Ether Church as his Eye of the Truth couldn’t see through them. As such, he used this ruse to snuff them out. If it didn't work then it didn't work.

As for him not killing their families, well, if even he didn’t make a move, he was sure that the Emperor wouldn’t let them go.
He was the kind of person that didn’t like to leave any future trouble behind, no matter how small. He was very thorough and ruthless when taking action.
Meanwhile, knowing that their covers have been blown, the Ether Church followers were unable to stay calm anymore.
Their minds were all in shambles as they didn’t know what to do. Some wanted to fight their way out and escape. However, they knew that it was impossible to leave the Imperial Palace.
The entire Imperial Palace was in lockdown. Furthermore, though most of the Imperial Knights were here at moment, the strongest force of the Hyperion Empire, the Imperial Battle Mages from the Hyperion Tower had temporally taken over the mission of securing the Imperial Palace.
Not only that, there was only a handful of them within the main hall while the rest of the people were all true and loyal Imperial knights of the Imperial Family. As such, if they were to make any sudden move, they would immediately be killed on the spot. No matter what they did, only death awaited them.
While many of the Ether Church Followers were in a dilemma and hesitating, an Imperial Knight suddenly stepped out the crown and walked towards the stage and said.”Greeting your highness the 13th Imperial Prince. Is it true that you won’t touch our families if we give ourselves up?”
“Of course, what would a son pays for the mistake of his father.” Replied Mikhail with a calm voice as he was looking at the Imperial Knight.
“This isn’t about you anymore. Your death is already done deal. I could have easily killed you all one by one before you even knew that your covers were blown, but I didn’t.”
“I wanted to do a little experiment. I wanted to see whether or not all the Ether Church followers were all lunatics and cold-blooded individuals that didn’t care about anyone but their Ether Gods.”
“I wanted to see if you guys have a little humanity left in you. That’s why I gave you this choice. Give yourself up and your family will be spared or I expose you myself and kill all your families.” Explained Mikhail.

Listening to the 13th Imperial Prince’s little speech, many of the people present were moved and some of the Ether Church followers that were still hesitating also made their minds.
Soon, one maid walked over and said with a pleading tone.”I hope that his highness the 13th imperial prince will keep his words and spare my husband and two kids. They did nothing wrong and also didn’t know that was an Ether Church followers though I had no choice in the matter at that time.”
“Of course I will keep my words. A man is as good as his word.”Answered Mikhail as he spoke in a sincere tone, his voice sounded clearly and loudly through the hall.
“Thank your highness.” Replied the maid with a grateful look on her face.
Mikhail was aware that many of the Ether Church followers were forced to join the organization. However, this had nothing to do with him.
He was never a hero nor he wanted to be one. He was a selfish and greedy bastard who only cared about himself.
Soon, more and more Ether Church followers started to step forward and give themselves up. Though some of them still had some doubts about the 13th Imperial Prince’s claimed about him knowing their identities, they didn’t want to take any chances.
Many of them became spies for the Ether Church because the Church threatened to kill their families and had no choice but to comply. Now, that their covers have been blown, they didn’t want to drag their families along with them.
In just a few seconds, more than twenty people stepped forwards and gave themselves up. There were ten maids, four butlers, and seven Imperial Knights. There was even a Noble Rank Knight among them.
*I was right* Inwardly thought Mikhail as he was looking at the Noble Rank Knight.
What was even more frightening, most of these people were all people that have even working in the Imperial Palace for a long time and has a fairly good reputation among their peers.
“I can’t believe I was dating an Ether Church follower.” Blurted out one of the maids with a frightened expression on her face after seeing his boyfriend among the people that stepped forward as Ether Church followers.
Not only the maid, but almost everyone was shocked after seeing the spies of the Ether Church. Some of them were people that they’ve considered their best friends, lovers, and brothers. This matter to them was just like a nightmare; this was so ridiculous and impossible!
“I’m guessing the rest of you prefer to go down along with your families,” Mikhail said with a sinister smile on his face as his gaze swept the remaining Ether Church followers within the crowd.
Following Mikhail’s words, three more Imperial Knights reluctantly stepped out of the crowd and walked toward the stage along with the others.
However, as soon as they got close, they immediately pounced towards Mikhail as fast as a flying meteor as they yelled out.” Little bastards, if I'm going down, I'll take you down with me.”
“How foolish!” The smiling eyes of Mikhail suddenly became cold.
“Hell Fire Arrows!” He coldly uttered.
“Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!”
As soon as his voice faded, a giant red magic circle appeared in front of him. At the same time, numerous whistles hissed through the air with a piercing, high-pitch noise as six blue flaming arrows shot towards the three Imperial Knights.
Their speed was unimaginably fast, so fast that they didn't even have the time to react as the six blue flaming arrows pierced through their armors and chests, leaving a gaping hole behind. They didn't even have the chance to scream as they instantly died.
“Not bad!” Mikhail murmured to himself after seeing the power of the Hell-Fire Arrow magic spells.
The Hell Fire Arrow was one of the 4th Circle magic spells he had learned after breaking through the 4th Circle Mage.
According to its description, the Hell Fire Arrow was made of a demonic flame that could burn through all matter.
No flesh or armor could withstand a Hell Fire Arrow as it was capable of penetrating the hardest metals. Though it was a bit exaggerated, its power wasn't far off.
