《The Seven Demon Gods' Successor》Chapter 36-The Beginning of the Purge (II)

What the hell!
At this moment, whether it was the knights or the servants present within the main hall, they couldn't help but look at each other with a weird expression on their faces after hearing Mikhail’s last sentence.
They were all out words. What kinda joke was that?
When the 13th Imperial Prince said that he had uncovered the identity of the Ether Church followers that have infiltrated the Imperial Palace, they were all shocked. This was a great feat.
One of the main reasons that the Ether Church remained strong till this day was because no one knew of its location.
Aside from that, despite their followers being spread everywhere throughout the whole Antheia World, it was nearly impossible to identify them. They completely blended in with the rest of the populace.
The majority of them lived normal lives just like everyone. They had kids, husbands, and wives just like a regular person. They also had regular jobs and many of them even have high and noble status.
All these facts made it pretty hard to identify them even if they were next to you. Unless they wanted to be found or they revealed their identities, one could only dream of identifying them.
As such, when the 13th Imperial Prince stated that he had uncovered the identities of dozens of Ether Church followers, everyone was dumbstruck. This was an amazing feat.
At the same time, they all had a look of anticipation on their faces. They wanted to see the appearances of those lunatics that dared to infiltrate the Imperial Palace.
While the non-followers of the Ether Church were waiting for the 13th Imperial Princes to reveal the identity of those bastards, the true followers of the Ether Church were sweating bullets. They were all scared shitless.
They felt their entire bodies become slowly drenched in cold sweat as they thought that their covers have been blown.

However, they were all rendered speechless by the 13th Imperial Prince's last sentence. This little bastard didn't know shit.
After hearing his last sentence, they were a hundred percent certain that he didn't know who the Ether Church followers were.
He was just bluffing and asking them to turn themselves in. This was quite unbelievable.
Some of them couldn't help but shook their heads after recalling the 13th Imperial Prince's initial arrogant and confident attitude.
Did the 13th Imperial Prince believe that they would reveal and turn themselves in just because of his little threat?
At this moment, almost everyone had one thought in their minds as they were looking at Mikhail_ He's an idiot.
However, some of them still had some doubts. The 13th Imperial Prince looked too confident. It was as if everything was under his control.
Either he was an extremely good actor or he really knew the identities of the Ether Church followers within the main hall.
“It seems like you guys plan on making it difficult for me.” While everyone was still lost in thought, Mikhail slowly uttered these nonchalant and carefree words.
“I have given all of you a chance, but you chose not to take it. Now, you leave me with no choice.”He added as his cold gaze as he swept past everyone below like a poisonous snake stalking his prey.
Even though none of them believed the 13th Imperial Prince’s nonsense, they didn't dare to meet his gaze as they lowered their heads.
Finally, Mikhail's gaze stopped on a black armored knight before pointing at him with his right index finger and said.” Hey, you come over.”
The expression of the black-armored knight instantly changed after being called by Mikhail. However, it was only for an instant as he quickly hid his emotions.

At the same time, everyone around the black-armored knight immediately turned around and looked at him, their eyes showing a guarded air.
Meanwhile, the black-armored knight reluctantly walked forward one step at a time as the others made way. Though he looked calm, he was in fact extremely nervous on the inside
“Greeting Your Imperial Highness 13th Prince!” Saluted the Imperial knight with half a bow.
“What’s your name.” Mikhail coldly asked.
“My name is Isaac Albret.” Answered the Imperial knight respectfully.
“I see,” Mikhail murmured to himself as he took out a thick blue book from his spatial storage.
Without saying anything, he started flipping through its pages before finally stopped on the twentieth page of the book and said.” There you are.”
“Isaac Albret, age 35 and a 7 Star Aura Knight. You were born in the city of Atlanta and moved to the Imperial Capital at the age of 15.”
“You are married to a commoner named Niva and have three children with her. One little girl and two boys.”
“Your father and mother still live in Atlanta along with your little sister and older brother. Your sister has four kids and your older brother have two..........”
“Well, I think that’s about it,” Mikhail said nonchalantly as he closed the book after reading all the information about the Imperial Knight.
“Now Isaac, I give you two choices. first, you expose yourself as the scum of Ether Church that you are and I’ll only kill you.”
“Second, I expose you myself. However, Not only I will kill you after exposing you as a follower of the Ether Church, but I'll also exterminate your entire family and erase any traces of your bloodline in the Antheia World. Your choice.” Mikhail said with a devious smile on his face
At this point, the Imperial knight’s face became pale and white as paper after hearing Mikhail’s words.
“Your Highness, I am afraid you have the wrong person. I swear on my Knight’s honor that I am not a follower of the............”
Swish! Swish! Swish!
However, before the Imperial Knight could even finish his sentence, he saw numerous flashes of cold light which blinded his vision.
And before he could even realize what was happening, both of his arms were already severed from his shoulders including his feet.
Suddenly, the Imperial Knight's whole body was covered in blood, limbless - quite a horrifying scene.
“Ah!” He rolled back and forth in his own blood while howling like a beast.
Let alone the spectators, even the limbless Imperial Knight didn't realize when Mikhail had unsheathed his sword and attacked him. He was simply too fast for his eyes to catch up.
Nonetheless, Mikhail didn't stop there. Ignoring the painful howl of the Imperial Knight, he took out a small dagger from his spatial storage and plunged it into his chest.
He then ripped out his heart from his chest and raised it in the air for all to see.
“You see that small black worm coiling around this Imperial knight’s heart, it’s called Heart Devouring Parasite.”
“This is a parasite-type Ether Beast that every follower of Ether Church has within them. It is also the ironclad and absolute proof that one is a follower of the Ether Church.” Mikhail coldly said as he was looking at the people below.

Just a Rock
There was once a writer that felt like creating a story about a rock. A rock so amazing that its story just needed to be told. How amazing? Not amazing at all, on the contrary, quite ordinary. Don't believe me? Then read on. Edit: Resumed the story. Can’t do any more audio versions for now. I plan on editing some of the now non-applicable author notes and maybe rearranging the two side stories or combining them with the deleted chapters.

Have you ever noticed that the letter Q is unnecessary? It doesn't provide any function to the language. Any word spelled with it could just as easily be spelled with other letters. Does that mean it shouldn't exist? Of course not. In this universe, everything has a place. Cosmic balance, Karma, God's plan, the laws of physics—they're all trying to describe the same thing. There is nothing that exists without purpose, and nothing without purpose that can exist. You can take solace in knowing that, just like the useless letter Q, you have birthright to exist in this world. Nothing can take that from you. Unless a creator God breeds technicolor angel-beasts hellbent on ripping you out of reality, of course. When Mina learns that she was a cosmic accident—a being accidentally created without purpose—what was once an easygoing life starts to entwine with conspiracies, impossible occurrences, and deadly occult mysteries. Not to mention friends so dangerous and unpredictable they make the cosmic horrors look normal by comparison. When the questions never stop piling up, it's hard to know where to begin. But I'll give you a hint: they all begin with a Q.

I stood above a pond, the water as black and deep as the abyss. I started walking but with each step, the water rose, or was it me that drowned? I could only walk forward as the water consumed me. Knees, waist, chest, neck, eyes, and finally, I was fully submerged. It was too late to turn back. Was it all worth it? ----------------------- If there is a "*" after the chapter it is re-written. I do not own the cover and was not able to find the artist, if it needs to be taken down please PM (private message). Source: Pinterest
8 188Grey Worlds
A mysterious incident occurred on a otherwise normal science centered world where all of the children from the age range of eight to sixteen suddenly vanished. “Where have their kids gone and will they ever return?” The now childless parents never got to really ask that question, because a strange new element replaced their lost children. This element slowly mutated the various animals that they once ruled over with their technology to the point that they were immune to their modern weaponry. The barren land of savages on a continent far away from theirs also had their children taken, but they easily mutated just like the beasts and only grew stronger thanks to the incident. A revolution of animals eventually took place after the mutations started to cause the animals to understand just how badly the humans ruined their lives and planet. Humans were the slowest to figure out how to use this strange new element to evolve, while their opponents were evolving and growing stronger by the day they couldn’t even surpass their modern technology. When humanity was on the brink of extinction a long forgotten event finally ended and their children finally started to return from the various worlds they were summoned to! It turns out that the mysterious new element that they didn’t know what to call was mana and that it’s everywhere in some fantasy planets. The children brought back a increase in technology and techniques to grow stronger with, which caused the humans to finally be able to build safe havens for their race. They grew stronger and started to finally adapt to their brand new environment. This is the story of a orphan who was taken away from his world, before he could gain a sense of attachment to the world. Who only has his older sister to care about and how he ends up adapting to the new world in front of him.------------------Dog notes by doggo First 'five' chapters aren't what the story is really about and is more of a prologue. The reason why some are separated into parts is because Doggo originally posted them as a entire chapter. The main setting is Ghost's actual world and not any foreign world. So this story was already posted once to another site or this site three years ago… and Dog is finally ending that three year hiatus! The explanation on why Dog was on a three year hiatus would of been written in the review section, but rrl doesn't allow self reviews. I'd have to create a alt just to self review which they obviously don't want even tho I'd not give myself any stars so its going to be here instead. The update schedule is a chapter a week till Dog get a editor and then two chapters a week till Dog gets enough money to pay for Dog’s bills. The final goal is to release a chapter every other day. Dog writes 4k word chapters so they are about twice as long as some of the other authors so every other day is actually more like once a day. ------------------- The part that was supposed to be the 'review' which Dog wont bother editing out repeat infomation since it wasn't supposed to go here in the first place. The first thing Dog will go over is what changed for the first 5 chapters, so that anyone who still remembers Dog's little novel and wants to continue from where Dog originally left off can decide whether or not to reread it. Also Dog is moving over to qidan simply because dog like the app they have. Dog won't go premium even if Qidan tells dog to and will simply move back to royalroad or create a blog. The things that changed over the years are mainly two important things. The first is that Dog changed the first person point of view to a third person, because Dog read a really bad first person novel and it reminded dog of dogs own novel. Dog also changed the thoughts of the character to be - - instead of italics. Finally dog changed chapter 3 completely to make the mc not seem like a homicidal maniac and introduced a important character in chapter 3.What happened to do in the three years that dog was away? Was dog at college and now needs money to eat? Was dog off in space after successfully becoming a astronaut and has now returned home with a completed novel or two? The answer is actually quite plain dog graduated from highschool and was supposed to only spend a year at dogs owners house to choose what major dog wanted to go to college for.Dog didn't do that and is still stuck with dogs owners and is sick of being a neet. Dog wants to move and buy doggy food, but dog is antisocial and doesn't want to work a simple 9 to 5 job for the rest of dogs life. Dog is a reader before dog is a author and the reason why dog got into writing was because dog wanted to write a novel without all the things dog finds annoying. Dog spent the first year reading various novels and dropping various novels. Dog is all caught up and has to much free time on dogs paws. The first year that Dog took off was the very same year that qidan came out so dog was naturally overloaded with free chapters. But now that pemium exists dog naturally has to limit the amount dog can read. Dog is addicted to reading like my very own readers and can understand your frustrations for dog disappearing for 3 years.Dog decided that dog will go back to writing 2 years ago. Dog wanted a decent stockpile incase dog has any other emergency so dog didn't post for a year but then dog decided to change the point of view which took another year.Dog has a patreon page https://www.patreon.com/mclaindog but there isn't any tiers there or goals till dog gets a editor. My final goal is to release a chapter every other day, but as long as Dog gets a editor Dog will do two free chapters a week.Dog will probably also make a kofi for anyone who just wants to send dog a tip and can't afford to donate money monthly while maybe having bonus chapters if the tip jar gets filled.
