《The Seven Demon Gods' Successor》Chapter 22- The Miraculous Feat

“Indeed, time truly flies when you're having fun,” Mikhail murmured with a slight smile on his face as he stood outside the Imperial Library.
He was so caught up and engrossed in learning the 4th circle magic spells he got from the Imperial Library that he didn't realize the passage of time.
When he came to the Imperial Library, the sun had just risen from the horizon. However, when he came out, it was already nighttime.
The majestic sun was now replaced by the glistening crescent-shaped moon. It was hanging high above the night sky like a white jade lamp, pouring moonlight that was clear as water down onto the earth.
“Nonetheless, I didn't expect that I would be able to learn all the twenty-three 4th circle magic spells including familiar magic in just one day.” He added with a surprised expression on his face.
Yep, Mikhail had learned all the twenty-three magic spells including the familiar magic in one day instead of the six he had previously chosen.
Normally, this would have been impossible. Let alone twenty-three magic spells, even the previous six magic spells would have been impossible for Mikhail to learn in one day.
However, with the help of the system, he was able to learn all the twenty-three magic spells which was simply a miraculous feat.
“This system is truly terrifying.” Even those so-called heaven-defying geniuses couldn't accomplish such a feat. Being able to learn two magic spells in a day was already a miracle, let alone twenty-three.
Though Mikhail was able to learn all the twenty-three magic spells in just one day, he was unable to construct all of them into the ring of mana around his heart.
With his 800 units of mana, he was only able to inscribe ten of them including the familiar magic as each spell needed 80 units of mana to construct the model.
As such, ten 4th Circle magic spells were his limit. Even if he were to replenish his mana, he still wouldn't be able to add more spells.

Nonetheless, it was still a great feat as most 4th Circle mages were only able to construct five 4th circle magic spells models and six for those geniuses.
As for the rest, even though Mikhail had learned them and was very proficient as well, he would need to use incantation to cast them. Only the spells inscribed within one’s ring of mana could be cast instantly without incantation.
“Well, it's time to go home. I am famished.”Mikhail said with a satisfying smile on his face as he walked towards the luxurious carriage that was waiting for him.
He was truly pleased with the result of his training today. With these twenty-three magic spells along with the familiar magic, his strength has increased tremendously.
Even though Mikhail had a noble status in this world, he was still a believer of true strength who preferred to express himself through his sword or magic.
As Mikhail arrived in front of the carriage, Martin respectfully bowed to him before slowly opened the door of the carriage.” Your highness.”
Looking at Martin who was wearing the same clothes as well as staying in the same position before he had entered the Imperial Library, Mikhail’s expression couldn't help but changed a little before asking.” Martin, don't tell me you've been waiting for me all this time outside.”
“It is my duty to serve and wait on you 13th Imperial Prince your highness,” Answered Martin with a respectful tone. There wasn't a hint of fatigue nor displeasure on his face.
‘Oh, Shit!’
Mikhail might have many vices, but he wasn't that evil and sinister to purposely let an old man like Martin wait on him for a whole day without food or water.
He didn't do it on purpose, he simply forgot about him. Even though he was doing his job, Mikhail still felt bad for the old man.
“Take this,” Mikhail said as threw a small bottle of high-grade recovery potion to the old man before he entered the carriage.

Martin wanted to decline it out of politeness but Mikhail stopped him with a hand gesture before he could say anything.
Sometimes Mikhail wondered why an old man like Martin would willingly serve Vandal. Even though he had lost most of his power, he was still an experienced 8-Star Aura Knight.
Not only Vandal had relinquished his right to the throne, but he also had no desire to gain power. As such, there wasn't a great future by following someone like that.
Despite all that, Mikhail hasn't found anything wrong with Martin. He’s been serving him diligently and wholeheartedly.
..................................................
After arriving at the palace, Mikhail didn't immediately go to his room. Instead, he ordered Martin to go inside to rest while he went to take a stroll in the garden.
However, he wasn't taking some simple stroll under the moonlight. He was instead looking for some small animals or insects to try the familiar magic on. That's one thing he didn't have the chance to practice in the magic training room.
Fortunately, it didn't take him long before he found a small bee buzzing around a small flower. Looking at the small bee, Mikhail’s lips couldn't help but curve upward into an enigmatic smile.
Without making any noise, he slowly and gently walked toward the small bee. Even though the small bee saw Mikhail approaching, it even didn't bother to fly away. It continued to buzz around the flower as if he didn't care about him.
“You are a brave one, aren't you?” Mikhail said with a slight smile on his face.
As Mikhail got extremely close to the small bee, he slowly raised his index finger towards it and coldly said.” Mental Link.”
Swoosh!
The moment these words came out of his mouth, a small blue magic circle appeared above the bee’s head and sunk within its body, and disappeared.

At the same time, Mikhail’s vision suddenly went black. He couldn't see a thing, he was in complete darkness. However, it wasn't for long. It only lasted a small fraction of a second.
When Mikhail regained vision, he realized that he was seeing the world through a different set of eyes.
Everything became so bigger, even the small flowers. At the same time, he had a much broader range of color vision. He was able to see many things that he was unable to see with his human eyes.
“Amazing, so this is how the bees see the world,” Mikhail murmured to himself with a look of amazement on his face.
Aside from that, Mikhail also realized that the bee didn't have ears. However, it was still able to pick sound with its whole body, especially with its antennas and sensitive body hair.
“Let’s see if I can control his body,” Mikhail added as he strengthened the Mental Link by increasing the amount of mental energy.
However, the moment he did, the bee immediately exploded into nothingness as its small body was unable to handle this amount of mental energy.
“Damn, that hurts.” Cursed out Mikhail as he suddenly felt a splitting headache when the bee exploded. He was as though his brain had just exploded.
“It seems like I still need some more practice,” Mikhail said with his right hand on his head.
“However, not tonight. I have enough training today. Furthermore, I still have a big party to attend tomorrow. I need some sleep.” He added before he left with a tiring look on his face.
