Scene 2 - Blue ThunderBolt
Saren finished the rest of the chapter and by the people around them were listening in on the story. Many of the girls looked away with various expressions, while many male youths seemed to have gained some type of profound enlightenment.
Nena blushed deeply at the mention of the kiss… It was just too lewd for her tastes.
She asked Saren while hiding her face, “Why would the Demon king keep the maiden around, Brother? As I see it, she’s someone who will eventually kill him with her constantly improving swordsmanship.”
Saren pondered over her question a bit wondering why Nena would speak this way. Normally a youth her age would ask when the demon king would meet his end. Yet despite her young age, she sided with the demon king? She saw some things way too weirdly, normally a girl her age would hope for a hero to rescue the maiden.
With a shrug, Saren said, “Little sis, sometimes love is stronger than logic. The demon king had fallen in with love at first sight. An untainted flower in a kingdom of greed and lust, it entranced him how something so pure could be born from such evil.”
Nena thought for a bit before saying, “If I was the demon king… I would have killed the maiden; not to protect myself, but for my family and friends who are depending on me as a ruler.”
Vince sighed when he heard Nena answer. It was the exact same answer given to him by his father when he held his blade in the sky, about to strike down Rune.
Rune touched his arm, which startled him greatly, as she worried about him, “Vince, you ok? You seemed sad all of a sudden…”
With a bright smile, Vince laughed off Rune’s question, “Me, sad? Haha! Nah, I was thinking about what we’ll be able to eat in the sect! I hope it’s even better than the city food!”

Rune was about to follow up with another question when Vince threw up again in his bag, ending the discussion there.
Saren and Nena bickered about who was right and who was wrong for the rest of the trip; some youths around them even joined in the discussion. Since there wasn’t much to do until they would reach the sect.

The speed of these giant lizards was indeed fast and soon, one hour had passed in a blink of an eye. Letting down youths near the huge gate, which was made of black wood with strange runic symbols that made a pulsing formation.
Two large dogs, about fifty meters in height, sat at the sides of the entrance; standing tall and proud with large brown eyes and a golden mane. If you didn’t know better, these dogs would look like golden retrievers… With spikes coming out of their wagging tails, releasing small powerful gusts of wind.
A young, handsome man with long, yellow tied up hair and a blue tattoo of a thunderbolt on his cheek sat lazily between the two dogs. His robes were loose, showing much of his bare chest, that showed a chiseled rock-like frame. Whilst eating an apple, the young man waited for all the youths to dismount the lizards.
When the youths all dismounted, the blue tattoo-man got up and bowed to the lizard number one, “Many thanks, Elder Beast-Smoke, for your hard work!”
The old man sitting on the lizard grinned, puffing some smoke which roared like a wild animal. Elder BeastSmoke then turned around and lead the rest of the lizard riders back to the city without a word.
Lazily, the youth with the thunderbolt turned to the group of youths, cracking his knuckles with a grin, “Hehe~ So you youngins are the fresh meat who wish to join the sect, eh? Follow, youngins, and don’t wander or you will be kicked out and banned from the sect!”
