Scene 3 - Battle Results

After the preceding battles, Master Mo created a list showing how many Golems the siblings had killed in the order of highest to lowest.

Except for Nena, all the siblings laid passed out on the floor, exhausted from sparring.

Master Mo contemplated over the results of their fights as he followed the black robed maidens carrying the eight youths to their awaiting medical baths. Marley had stayed back with Nena, determined to teach her some basic swordsmanship before she took her bath.

‘It seems God Slaying weapons do hold up to their name as weapons of mass destruction. Greater Demon weapons, even though a tier lower on the scale, lag behind in power by only a little bit.

With today's results, I have a good idea of how to improve their progress. Xue, Len, and Luna have a battle prowess alike those in the middle of the 3rd stage of Heavenly body refinement. Vince and Rune just broke though yet have the battle prowess of a 4th low tier Core formation expert, but more or less these five have around the same level of fighting strength.’

Master Mo’s thoughts shifted towards Sol, ‘Because of his weapons and his ancestral bloodline, his art of attacking while defending was almost attuned to perfection. He was able to deal with overwhelming numbers thanks to his strong spirit and has the power of a 4th mid tier Heavenly body refinement expert.

Ren on the other hand…

Even though Ren uses a Greater Demon sword with a high offense, his soul allowed him to assimilate with the sword's memories on another level, enabling him to clear three or four golems in half with a single strike... He has about the battle prowess of a high 4th tier Heavenly body refinement expert.

But Saren truly managed to surprise me today. His fight was shocking to the extreme even though at first he was doing alright like his brothers and sisters. Yet midway through the battle his demeanor suddenly changed from its normal calmness into a strange mix of wild cunning, turning him into a fearsome predator.

He was able to move through the enemy swarm by leaping from golem to golem as quickly and agilely as a spider, all the while shooting or stabbing with fluid motions. It was an amazing show of skill and force, but there were moments when he seemed to be walking on a tightrope stretched across a bottomless chasm. As he absorbs his bow's memories and learns to use its ability with ease, Saren will easily become a powerful combatant capable of controlling the battlefield.’

Master Mo suddenly wondered who would win if Saren and Ren fought, causing shivers to run down his spine, ‘It would be hard to say who would triumph… but if I have the siblings fight one another after they surpass 100 golems, I can find out!

Yet then he recalled Nena, and how terrifying she would become

‘She only killed four Golems, yet they were all killed when 10,000 pounds of force smashed them into the ground! Good thing I told her to keep the sheath on when fighting, heavens know what would have happened if that sword slipped out of her hands… If she manages to learn some sword skills while using that thing, anyone within the Heavenly body refinement stages would be crushed into pancakes...’

While Master Mo was lost in his thoughts the black robed maidens had taken the eight siblings into separate rooms to strip them, leaving him alone. When the siblings were unclothed, the maidens threw them into the awaiting lukewarm medical baths. The eight unconsciously moaned in pleasure as the medical ingredients seeped into their skins, and the black-robed maidens started to gossip while scrubbing their filthy bodies clean.

“Wow, look at this! This Xue girl is so pretty! I wonder why she has ink on her face?”

“Daw, these twins are so cute! I could just snuggle them in all their cuteness.”

“My word, this swordsman’s muscles are so honed they’re like rock fufufu~.”

“Oh let me see!”

“No, he’s mine! If you come in here don’t be afraid when I become impolite!”

“Wow this Vince has scars all over his body, I wonder what he’s been through…”

“This girl has such soft silky red hair, I wish I had hair like this... and these boobs as well! I feel so inferior.”

Master Mo’s thoughts were instantly shattered as he heard everything and coughed dryly, “Remember girls, washing only! Don’t do anything to my disciples that's impolite or I’ll whip you with thirty lashes!”

The black robed maidens cried in alarm, “Wahh!”

“Who do you take us for, Sect Master!”

“We are not some kind of loose women that would take advantage of such fine feasts when they can't even fight back!”

“Yah! We’ll do that when they’re awake!”

The black cloth maidens cried out in unison, chasing their Sect Master away from the room.

Master Mo shook his head, coughing dryly, ‘I wish you the best my disciples!’ Then ran away with his tail between his legs, showing an appearance truly unbefitting of a sect leader.
