Scene 5A - 3v3
With a cold snort, Princess Diana slapped Jao's hand away, not wanting to look weak in front of a subordinate even though she was grateful for his help. Weakness wasn’t tolerated in the land of the strong.
Planting her sword into the ground, Diana leaned against the blade and wobbled to her feet, gritting her teeth and pushing her pain to the side as she brought her sword up to bare its fangs.
A sharp glint appeared in her eyes as she rushed forward with a harsh yell, “I’ll take the fatass, you two take the two skinny shits!”
Jayce moved towards his opponent with a chuckle, “Hear that young hero? You got rejected by the princess and didn't even get a word of thanks for saving her! Truly a legend in the making, hahaha!”
A slight tint of red appeared on Jao’s face as he furiously smashed his spear towards one of the two skinny elves. The elf managed to block his attack with its sword but was pushed back a few feet. Its cold and emotionless eyes caused Jao to shudder slightly. Even though he had managed to push the elf back, he wasn't an expert that could surpass levels. Despite his special type of cultivation base, the skinny elf could easily kill him with time.
Although he had a trump card, it wasn't the best time to use it. For now, Jao could only fight with his life on the line! Despite the pressure, Jao was under facing a higher level opponent, he still managed to scream at Jayce while pushing forward to attack once more, “ It’s Jao you prick! Calling me young hero...I'll trample you after this!”
Jayce's eyes flashed wildly, a bloodthirsty smile on his face as he brandished his sword, “Oh? You clearly.…” He stabbed forward towards his foe's forehead, “Misheard, brother Jao!” The elf dodged to the side, avoiding a death blow. Jayce kept up his assault while grinning, giving the elf no time to breathe.

Scene 5B - Princess Diana Vs Giant Elf
Facing the strongest of the three elves, Princess Diana wielded her heavy sword with utter fury as she used her qi to the best of her abilities. Despite losing an arm, the elf wasn't at a disadvantage since Diana was injured as well.
Her black hair flowed like water as she attacked with no regard for her own life! Booms could be heard as the two trading blow for blow. Enforcing her mangled body with earth qi and increasing her attack power with air qi, Diana went all out in the hopes of finish this fight before her wounds got worse.
Their battle raged on but after five minutes had passed, Diana could feel her body was reaching its limits. If she didn’t end this soon her qi would be exhausted and the elven expert would take her head. ‘I have no choice but to use ‘that move,’ she thought.
Sending a blade of air qi at the giant elf and knocking it away, Diana prepared her move >. While she charged her move, the giant elf didn't wait around. Despite being accursed it still held some intelligence and knew that being hit by something that needed vast amounts of qi was dangerous.
Its muscles suddenly bulged, causing veins to pop outward across its skin and somehow allowing it to move a few notches faster than before. But it was too late for the giant elf to turn the situation around. A cold smile upon her face, Diana finished storing the needed energy. Tightly gripping her heavy sword, Diana let out an enraged howl as she released > to finish the accursed bulky elf off once and for all!
The giant elf roared in rage, unwilling to die by the hand of a little girl. It summoned a barrier of black qi in the hopes of increasing its defense enough to be able to survive the strike. Diana snorted coldly, placing all the power she could muster into this one attack as she shouted, “Break!”

Her heavy sword smashed through the barrier of qi as if it was paper, continuing on to bisect the shocked bulky elf. As a last ditch effort, the elf tried to strike Diana with its war club to bring her down with it.
Diana smirked, having been waiting for this moment, and yelled out, “>!” Her heavy sword tilted in a strange manner, suddenly shifting from a attacking the elf's body to striking towards its neck to decapitate the giant fiend! The elf tried to change its defense, but it was far too late!
The sound to flesh ripping could be heard as the bulky elf's head flew through the air, unwillingness to die written all over its face. The headless corpse fell to the ground with a thud, raising a small cloud of dust.
Like a Goddess of War in the making, Diana's eyes glowed with a bloodthirsty intensity. Despite her wounds she roared across the battlefield, “Who’s Next?!”

Join him on his adventures as he must deal with menus, monsters, and mysteries in this litrpg fantasy. Thomas Goodwill was an average boy with an average life, all that changed when he woke up in a new reality. Now, out of his depth, damn near out of his mind, he must learn to survive in a game-like reality with no reloads, checkpoints, or save scumming. He does, however, have a drunk snake. Thank you for reading my first story, hopefully, the first of many to come. This will be my main story and is meant to help me practice and hone my skills as I slowly produce more complex ideas. It's a litrpg in which I want to only lightly focus on the mechanics as I don’t want to pad out the word count with math and number tables and while I want to add a few of my own twists here and there, overall I’m going to keep this story close to generic as possible so that I don't let my inexperience lead me into a corner. Thanks again to all willing to leave a review or some constructive criticism, without you I'd never improve. Unfortunately, Cover art is by me.
