The carriage bumped down the road as they made their way to Yuart. Compared to traveling to Referia this trip was much more enjoyable because of Ria. His eyes started opening from the faint tickle of her hair against his nose. Yuuta was a little surprised he was able to fall asleep on the uncomfortable hard wooden floor it just goes to show how comfortable he felt with her. Their eyes met as Ria flashed a bright smile. If he could he would freeze that smile in time.

" How long did I sleep for?"

"A couple hours you looked so peaceful I didn't want to wake you up ."

He leaned up from her lap and gave her a small kiss.

"Sorry, it must have been uncomfortable."

"Not at all you always take care of me so it was nice to take care of you for one."

Yuuta picked her up and placed her in his lap. Wrapping his arms around her stomach as she leaned into his chest.

"I take care of you because I love you. I just can't help but spoil you.

He pulled her long silky black hair to the side and started kissing her neck. The smell of her hair was was intoxicating getting lost in the moment Yuuta went too far licking her neck.

"Mmmhh."

She let out a small moan gripping his thigh. Her face went beet red after breaking out of the trance Yuutas lips put her in.

"Sorry I got carried away."

Her light panting and teary-eyed pout made it obvious.

"That was unfair."

He couldn't help teasing her she made it so easy.

"I'm sorry I thought you would have more stamina from what we do every night."

Yuuta hugged her tighter drawing shapes on her stomach. He loved the sound of her giggles it was almost like a drug.

"I'll forgive you on one condition."

"I will do anything you want."

Yuuta liked seeing her confident side it just meant she was opening up to him more. She started squirming in his lap. He knew she wasn't doing it purposefully but it was having some adverse side effects to his lower extremity.

"I will forgive you if you say it again."

Her face turned a brighter shade of red as she waited for his response. He couldn't help but tease her just a little more whispering in her ear with a hoarse voice.

" What do you want me to say?."

Finishing his sentence he licked and lightly bit her ear. Her back straightened hearing

a muffled moan through her gritted teeth. She turned around in his lap and put her arms around his neck. Her meek barely audible voice spilled out.

"Say you....."

Before she could finish he kissed her deeply she tightened her grip around him. The sloppy kiss lasted till Ria ran out of breath and had to push away.

" I love you"

Yuuta said it without hesitation. Ria sat back down in his lap with that bright smile he couldn't get enough of. They stayed like that till the city of Yuart and the mountain he came to investigate took shape. It was much bigger than Yuuta expected it looked to be about the same size as Celis maybe a little smaller. It was surrounded by a 10-meter high wall with watchtowers ever couple 100 meters. The mountain was directly behind the city no more than 10 kilometers away.

(I can see why their worried the mountain is closer than I expected.)

The carriage let them out by the front gate. As usual, Yuuta helped Ria down from the carriage she grabbed onto his arm as they walked towards the guards. The guards stopped them at the gate.

"please show some identification?"

Yuuta pulled out his guild card.

"My names Yuuta I'm an adventurer from Celis I came here for the request."

The guards looked at his card and went inside their watchtower. After several minutes the guards walked back out followed by a young girl with red hair and golden honey eyes wearing a red and blue kimono.

"Hello, welcome to Yuart adventurer."

"Hey, my names Yuuta and this is Ria."

They gave short introductions as the red-headed girl guided them through the city.

"Where are you taking us?"

Yuuta felt a little suspicious but wasn't too worried. He could tell Ria was uncomfortable so he threw his arm around her holding her close.

"We're going to meet the lord of Yuart he has invited you to stay at the castle while you handle this request."

"isn't this a bit much for me I'm just a D rank adventurer."

"That's not how the Lord sees it, your coming to solve our crisis after all."

The red-headed girl quickened her pace weaving through the people on the street he almost lost sight of her a couple times. It didn't take long to reach the castle gate once the guards saw us they opened the gate for the girl. She casually waved for me to come along. She was obviously an important person here and clearly knew her way around. After a couple minutes of walking through the castle, we reached two giant ornamental doors. Just like the castle gate as soon as they saw the girl the giant doors where pushed open. Once the doors opened it the throne room could be seen with a man in his mid 30's with dark scarlet red hair just like the girls wearing a purple robe. Sitting in the chair at the end of the road. The red-headed girl ran ahead giving the man a hug.

"Dad I brought the adventurer here as you asked."

The man patted her head.

"Thank you, sweety, you did a good job."

He was the stereotypical doting father type. Feeling uncomfortable Yuuta started walking towards the man ready to introduce himself but after his first step, he felt resistance. Turning around Ria was holding the back of his shirt obviously nervous about the situation.

(I should have realized she would be scared this is probably her first time in a castle. She must be super nervous meeting a lord.)

Yuuta didn't care much about titles he was already offered one, they had no value to him. So meeting a lord had no effect on. But people in this world saw nobles as beings better than themselves. Yuuta quickly turned around and looked Ria in the eyes.

"You don't have to worry I'm not going anywhere. You don't have to say anything just stand next to me ok."

Yuuta grabbed her hand and squeezed it in reassurance. Her nervousness subsided a little at the warmth of his hand. She nodded her head. The red-headed man and girl watched this exchange between Yuuta and Ria carefully. As they made their way to the throne the Lord called out to them amused by their interaction.

"Aren't you two a lovely couple."

Yuuta grimaced before introducing himself.

"Hello my name us Yuuta and I've come to subjugate the wyverns. This is Ria she came to enjoy the hot spring."

"It is nice to meet you adventurer Yuuta your name has spread quickly the E rank adventurer that killed a cyclops. I have no doubt a couple wyverns will cause you no trouble. I am the Lord of Yuart Emery Vermillion and this is my daughter Lady Vermillion."

The girl frowned then shouted.

"please don't call me Lady Vermillion that was my mom just call me Milly."

Milly ran over to Ria and grabbed her hand.

"Your so pretty Ria come play with me."

"ahhh thank you Lady Vermillion but I'm not as pretty as you."

"I told you to call me Milly and your way prettier than me I can't compare to those melons."

Milly ran behind her and started squeezing on her chest.

"whoooaaah please stop Milly this is embarrassing."

Yuuta walked over to the two of them laughing and gave a small chop on top of Milly's head. She instantly let go of Ria and started rubbing her head.

"That hurt Yuuta."

Ria was still trying to catch her breath.

"I'm the only one who's allowed to do that."

Yuuta started laughing as Ria went bright red at his words.

"ahhh Yuuta don't say something so embarrassing in front of people."

She quickly ran behind him burying her flustered face in his back. Lord Vermillion let out a loud bellowing laugh.

"It hasn't been this lively in the castle for a long time. Haha, how about you let my daughter show Ria to your room. You're welcome to use all of the castle's facilities while your here. We have our own private cook and a personal hot spring just for our use as well."

"I'm ok with that do you mind Ria we're just going to talk about boring stuff."

Yuuta turned around to look at Ria.

"Ok but hurry I don't want to be left alone for too long with Milly."

"Yes, my love."

He gave a nervous laugh as Milly dragged her away.

"Sorry about my daughter she doesn't get too many chances to talk to girls around her own age."

" No need to apologize I also think it's good for Ria to make friends as you can tell she's pretty shy."

"I'm grateful, well let's get down to business ill tell you everything I know."

"sounds good."

(it's not like I care I just need to go up there and kill them I don't need the whole back story. It's probably too rude to say that huh.)

" One week ago we got reports of a wyvern flying around the castle walls taking swipes at guards on duty. I thought my knights should have been able to kill a single wyvern so I dispatched a platoon of 25 men to fight it. Things were going well but the first wyvern was only bait. As soon as my men left the castle walls 3 more wyverns surprise attacked the knights sadly there was only one badly injured survivor. He only lasted a couple hours after the fight before succumbing to his wounds. Before he died he reported seeing the wyverns were flying towards Ganta mountain behind our city. I figure that's where their nest is."

"Sounds plausible they wouldn't go far if they had a food source. It's going to be dark soon so I planned on leaving for the mountain tomorrow ill take care of this as quick as possible I don't want any more casualties."

Lord Vermillion gave a big smile approving of the plan.

"Very well please feel free to have the cook make something if you get hungry and our personal hot spring is open to you as well. If you die tomorrow at least you'll be full and refreshed haha.

(was that supposed to be a joke.)

Saying goodbye to the lord he had the guard guide Yuuta to his room. Opening the door their room it was huge it was the size of their house back in Celis. He saw Milly and Ria drinking Tea on a couch on the other side of the room. It seemed Ria was having a friendly conversation with Milly.

"You two seem to be getting along."

Ria smiled after noticing he was there. Milly started frowning holding the top of her head. Yuuta patted Milly's head apologizing for earlier she seemed to get over it pretty fast. Jumping on his lap after sitting down. Yuuta didn't mind Milly reminded him of his younger sister. They enjoyed their tea and talked for a while until the cook brought food up to them. It was definitely high-class food the meat looked liked turkey. There was gravy mashed potatoes and tons of different vegetables it was truly a small feast.

After eating Yuuta and Ria said good night to Milly as they made their way to the hot spring. To Yuutas surprise it was mixed gender which was what he was hoping for. He gave a small thanks to God in his head.

It was definitely like a Japanese hot spring there was no doubt. Ria had no idea what to do so he got to show her all the steps. First, he had her sit down on the small wooden stool as he started washing her back slowly covering her in soap.

"Yuuta this is embarrassing."

"it's fine just let me pamper you."

He started washing her hair next he could feel her shoulders start to relax after a minute. He was happy she was starting to enjoy it then slowly poured hot water over her body washing the soap off.

He quickly did the same to himself and led her to the main event. The hot spring was actually outdoors surrounded by walls tall enough to keep wandering eyes out. Yuuta grabbed Ria's hand and slowly led her into the spring the temperature was just right.

"it's nice right we used to have these in my home town it is very refreshing."

"Yea the warm water feels really good I've never felt something like this before."

Yuuta grabbed her from behind and she rested her back against him like in the carriage. They enjoyed the water for a long time before he spoke.

"Ria I'm happy you could come with me."

"Me too I had a lot of fun today this place is amazing."

"Im glad you had fun if I didn't have to work this would kind of feels like a honeymoon right?"

Rias face went bright red and her back straightened.

"Umm Yuuta somethings touching my butt?"

"you just noticed haha."

Yuuta started kissing her neck as she let out a small yelp than a lovely moan.

"Not here Yuuta let's go to our room first."

"ok."

They quickly dried off and put on some clothes they got from the maids and ran to their room for the night.
