The sound of birds chirping swept into Yuuta and Ria's room. Slowly opening his eyes tocused the sight of Ria drooling on his chest tiny snores escaping her mouth.

(Man I could get used to this, waking up with a beautiful girl in my bed isn’t a bad way to start your morning.)

Yuuta soaked in the view with a smile on his face,He couldn’t help but rub his hand through her long silky black hair. He stopped on her ears gently rubbing the fluffy appendages. After about 15 minutes Ria started to stretch her ears twitching as she let out a big yawn.

"Your too cute." Yuuta didn’t even notice he said it till Ria reacted. Her face went bright red as she wiped the drool of her mouth trying to fix the embarrassing state she was in.

(Ohh crap did I say that out loud well I can't take it back)

"Sorry it just kind of came out I wasn’t thinking.... umm did you sleep good."

Ria slowly pushed her self off him with a slight tint of pink still on her cheeks.

"I did that's the best I've slept in a long time thanks for sleeping with me Yuuta. Did you sleep ok?”

(That means something else where I come from but whatever.)

"You don't have to thank me I was happy to do it.... and yea I slept great I feel refreshed. You hungry I sure am" He awkwardly steered the question to get them out of the room.

"Yea, I'm starving the food here is really good" she said smiling looking forward to her next meal. A real meal at that to no scraps or leftovers even animals wouldn’t touch.

They slowly got out of bed and stretched to get ready for the day. Yuuta headed down first and sat at the table to order some food for both of them.

"Hey before you leave do you know of any jobs a woman can do around here"

The waiter stopped and thought for a moment.

"Umm off the top of my head we could use an extra waitress if you want go talk to Giodore about it" The lady gave a smile pointing to the burly man.

"Thanks for the help" he said sincerely.

After a while Ria came down from upstairs looking as beautiful as ever. "Hey Ria I already ordered food for us. It should be ready soon.

"Thank you, so what are you planning to do today. I’ll help with anything I can I don’t want to be a burden.” She said proudly.

Yuuta thought about it for a second before talking.

"I was thinking of joining the adventuring guild it seems like it's a good way to make money. By the way I heard from the waiter that they need another server here. I was thinking you could get a job here while I go on quests does that sound ok?” He asked her opinion which surprised her even more. She was a dove she didn’t get options she got orders. She shook her head and focused on his question.

"I want to be with you Yuuta!!" He stared in her eyes and saw tears welling up.

(This girl is gonna be the death of me oh man)

"I know I wanna be with you too but I'm gonna be fighting monsters and doin dangerous jobs. If I bring you with me I'll have to worry about you and it will be dangerous for both of us I'm sorry but that's just how it has to be ok.” He didn’t his best to explain the situation with upsetting her more it seemed to work.

"Fine I understand as long as you always come back, you have to promise ok!" She accidentally yelled at him making her blush at how assertive she was being. The surprise faded to fear after realizing she just yelled and gave orders to her master.

(She is way to cute)

"Ok I promise, you know for being a slave you boss me around a lot haha"

Ria's eyes shot open with shock, she instinctively flinched and got ready for his attack.

Yuuta realized what happened and mentally scolded himself for being so insensitive. "It was just a joke Ria I kind of like that about you.”

(Fuck it I'm just gonna go for it)

Yuuta leaned over the table and kissed Ria on the cheek.

"I promise I'll always come back to you!" He yelled back at her just as loud as she did.

Ria face was steaming red with tears about to boil over.

"Yuuta that was unfair I wasn't ready" She said meekly looking down at her new dress.

"Sorry I couldn't help it you just looked so cute" he said as smoothly as he could. Flirting definitely didn’t come naturally to him:

Ria couldn't take it anymore and ran off upstairs to her room. she ran upstairs crying and jumped on the bed. Yuuta slowly made his way upstairs after her trying to figure out what he did wrong.

(I might have laid it on too thick. I just couldn’t help myself she’s and easy target not to mention just my type.) he chuckled to himself making it to their room.

After hearing him walk in Ria looked up at him with tears in her eyes. "Yuuta why are you so nice to me I've never been treated like this. Your too nice why are you pretending your gonna leave me like everybody else. So just do it now so I don't get my hopes up!!”

Yuuta was shocked he knew this was a delicate situation if he said the wrong thing it wouldn't go over well.

"Ria I promise I'm not gonna leave you I don't know what happened in your past or how you were treated. But I'm not like that I know it's only been a day but I can't help but care about you. So let me take care of you Ok?”

Yuuta ran over to Ria and hugged her tight. She started crying harder and clawed at his back hugging him tighter and tighter.

"I'm sorry Yuuta I'm just scared your gonna leave me and sell me off it. "

"You don't have to be scared Ria this is your new home now.”

Ria looked up at him with longing eyes staring at each other for what seemed like forever.

(What is she waiting for? I guess I have to go for it right)

After a minute of thinking Yuuta steeled himself for what was coming. He slowly moved his lips towards hers but she didn't back away she just closed her eyes. He closed his eyes and there lips connected it could only be explained as a moment of bliss as there lips touched.

After their lips parted they stared at each other for some time before he spoke.

"Do you believe me now Ria" he chuckled still holding her tight.

"Your so mean Yuuta I believe you ok"

"Come on let's eat already I'm starving"

"let's go"

After leaving their room they made it down stairs to find the food waiting for them.

"Is your lovers quarrel over already?”

Yuuta turned around to see Giodore staring at them.

"Yea sorry about that” he awkwardly rubbed his neck while apologizing.

After they ate together Yuuta and Ria went to Giodore to talk about getting her a job as a waitress.

"Hey Giodore I heard your looking for another waitress Ria is looking for a job"

"Well well she looks right for the job think you could be nice to everybody that's comes in little lady"

"Umm yes sir I'll do my best!’ She gave her best smile though you could see her nervousness.

"Ok the pay is 5 copper a day plus tips is that ok with you?”

Before answering Ria looked to Yuuta to see if it was ok.

(I know as little as you do Ria)

He nodded his head.

"That's ok with me Giodore sir"

"Ok you start today come with me. We will get you fitted with a uniform"

"Ahh right now!!"

Giodore was dragging her off to room behind the reception desk.

"Have fun Ria I'm goin to the adventurers guild see you later"

"Bye Yuuta see you tonight"

After that spectacle Yuuta made his way out side.

(Crap I forgot to ask where the guild was I'll just ask along the way.)

After walking for about 10 minutes he finally figured out where the guild was walking down the main road he saw sign that had sword and shield on it.

(This has to be a weapons shop. I did say I need a weapon so I might as well)

He walked into the weapon shop all kinds of weapons swords, maces, daggers, and hammers where there anything you could think of it was in the shop. A very small but bulky man with blck hair and beard was standing at the counter watching me look around.

(He has to be a dwarf right he looks just like one from the movies.)

After searching a little more nothing stood out until he looked on the wall and saw a curved sword with a braided handle and fancily designed hilt it resembled a sword from his home.

(That's got to be a katana. That's perfect fir me I had a little practice in kendo when I was growing up.)

Yuuta pulled the sword off the wall and opened it from the sheath it's definitely a katana.

"You got a good eye boy, that's a sword I imported from the east it's the only one around here.”

"Ohh you think so,how much is it?"

"1 gold and 5 silver is the going price"

(That's pretty much all my money I'll only have a couple copper left)

"I'm a beginner adventurer so I don't have a lot of coin how about 1 gold"

"Are you bargaining with me boy you got some balls on you how about 1 gold 2 silvers"

"I can do that we have a deal"

Yuuta tied the sword to his waist and left the store making his way to the guild. Another five minutes later he made it to a big 2 story building with the name Celis Adventurers Guild. As Yuuta walked in the first thing he noticed was a giant reception desk with 4 lines of people waiting to talk to the receptionists. On the right was a long post board filled with requests lines and letters split the requests by the letters going F rank to S rank. On the left was a bar/restaurant with a couple adventures sitting at the table checking out the new guy who walked in. Finally there was a staircase leading upstairs to what look like offices, and conference rooms.

[AN/ the ranks of adventurers goes like this F being the lowest rank and S being the highest. F, E, D, C, B, A, S.

(So this is the guild it about what I expected man I've read to many LN'S haha)

Yuuta was standing in line for a receptionist and slowly moving up the line he eventually got to a receptionist.

"Hello welcome to the Celis Adventurers Guild my name is Cerona how can I help you today.

Cerona was a Middle Aged beauty with black hair and golden eyes that shines like polished coins. Her breasts where well above normal size and jiggled slightly when greeting Yuuta.

"Hi my name is Yuuta and i want to sign up to be an adventurer."

"Ok there's a 1 silver sign up fee and you have to fill out some paperwork"

Yuuta gave her the silver piece and she handed him a clipboard with the paperwork on it.

(There are a couple questions I don't know how to answer like what magic I could use. I know god said I'm supposed to be a magic powerhouse but I still don't know a single spell. Or my home town/country.)

"Hi I filled out all I could. "

"Ok let me see.... it looks good I'll turn in the paperwork it will take 10 minutes to get you your guild card. While we wait would you like me tell you about the guild and requests.”

"Yea please"

"Well I will start with the basics there are ranks to being an adventurer you will start as F rank. As F rank you will only be able to take request that are in the city. Such as delivery or labor work for example. You have to be E rank or higher to take requests out of the city. If you want to rank up to E class you will have to prove you can fight effectively enough for monster subjugation. The highest rank you can achieve is S rank there are only 3 people on the continent that are S rank right now. People consider S ranks to be God's among men and are treated as such. Once you accept a request you'll usually have a time limit if you fail the quest there's a possibility of demotion in rank. If you fail more requests than 3 in a month you will be dropped from the guild and gave to start over from scratch. Most requests you will have to bring back proof of completion. If it's a request from a person they will have a signed letter of completion to give you when you finish the request. If it's a monster subjugation request you will have to cut of a piece of that monster as proof you completed the request. Do you understand what I have said so far do you have any questions."

"Yes I have one question if I wanted to learn magic is there somewhere I could learn."

"Umm the library has books on learning magic but what most adventurers do is join a party and learn from somebody who can use magic I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful".

"No your fine I've learned a lot thank you"

A couple more minutes of small talk and the guild card finally arrived.

She handed Yuuta the guild card which had his name and rank on it.

"Please take this knife and slice your finger and drop some blood on the card to finalize your guild card."

He did as he was told once he slit his finger a single drop of blood came out before it instantly healed.

(At least it's enough to mark the guild card I hope she didn't notice how fast it healed.)

Once the blood hit the guild card a small white light enveloped the card and quickly faded away.

"That concludes your registration you are now free to receive request from the guild."

"Thank you very much I have one more question how do I prove I can fight to rank up to E class."

"An C class guild employee will spar with you to gauge your strength I can ask Barthos if he is free to take your test."

"Yea please I'm gonna get a drink at the bar please let me know"

"Ok give me a couple minutes and I'll find out for you."

Yuuta made his way to the bar and ordered some mead after taking a couple sips he chugged the rest. Waiting patiently for a response for Cerona.

After about twenty minutes Cerona motioned for him to come to the front desk.

"Hello Yuuta, Barthos is available to take your test please meet hit him in the training arena out back."

"Ok thank you very much Cerona it was nice meeting you.”

After giving his goodbye he walked out side and rounded the corner to the back of the guild.

(I really hope I can hold back I don't want to accidentally kill this guy) he thought to himself. While reading requests on the board he noticed one for the wolves he killed on the road to Celis. They where B class monsters when in a pack. Judging by how easy it was to kill the wolf he was abt least above average in this world.

After making it back to the large closed in arena surrounded by a wooden fence. There where stands set up with maybe 20 or 30 adventures sitting down. About to watch the fight that's goin to happen in a moment. In the middle of the arena is man about 195 cm tall with red hair and a red beard he looked to be in his late 30's early 40's. He was lean but looked to be complete muscle you could tell he is no stranger to fighting he was a grizzled veteran for sure.

Yuuta made his way to the arena and jumped over the fence and walked to the middle of the arena and gave a nice hello.

"Hello I'm Yuuta you must be Barthos it's nice to meet you." Yuuta gave a small bow to his senior.

"What's up kid let's get this over with, here are the rules no weapons don't want to end up killing you on accident.” He pompously laughed already underestimating his opponent. Even for Yuuta who had never been in a fight in his old life knew that was a big no-no. “You will come at me with everything you got if I deem you worthy you will be ranked up to E class sound fair."

"Yes sounds good are we staring now" Yuuta said emotionless not even taking a fighting stance his hands still in his pockets.

"Yep start when ever your ready"

Barthos put his fists up in a fighting stance. Yuuta watched closely there where no openings in the C class adventurers stance. At least that’s he could tell.

(He does not seem strong I can't sense a presence from him at all. Those wolves gave me a weird feeling like they where really dangerous.)

"Here I come get ready"

Yuuta took off creating a hole where he was standing closing the distance in a instant he fired a jab at Barthos it was severely weakened in order to not kill him.

Barthos quickly put his hands up to block the punch when it connected the force slid him back at least 3 meters. His arms where bruised the metal grieves where dented deeply. His arms might even been fractured maybe even broken. Blood was pouring out his broken nose and missing teeth the force of the punch slammed his hands into his face.

(I think I over did it so this is an Cclass adventurer he must be a weaker then most C class members I hope.)

All the people watching were clearly shocked most people couldn't believe a simple F class could even touch a veteran C class let alone damage him that badly.

"{cough} man you pack a mean punch and your fast as hell kid let's leave it here for today you pass" he said kneeling on ground having trouble keeping his balance.

(And with that I became an E class adventurer)
