At the motel

(C'mon, Lucy, it has been like 2 hours already!) Minoru complained in his head. He had been kneeling in Lucifer's room for nearly 2 hours to hear the scolding.

"From now on, when I say 'go to bed', you must go to bed. You must obey all of my orders. Understood?"

"Yes, sir!"

"Alright...you can go now."

"..."

"Why don't you get up and go? Or would you like to hear another lecture?"

"It's not that...I knelt for too long, and now I can't even stand up." Minoru looked at Lucifer with puppy eyes.

"*sigh...Let me help you!"

As Lucifer was helping Minoru stand up, Minoru's legs gave in but fortunately, Lucifer caught him. And now, their faces were closed to each other.

"Your face...it's too close!" Minoru blushed.

"But you don' hate it, do you?"

And the two kissed.

"Minoru, I've always wanted to kiss you for real. My lips touching your lips. Not just kissing through a screen." Lucifer said, his face blushing.

"...WAIT! WHAT! ARE YOU TELLING ME YOU WERE AWARE OF BEING A FICTIONAL CHARACTER IN A MOBILE APP!?" Minoru was shocked.

"What nonsense are you talking about?"

"It's not true?"

Minoru, Lucifer, Mammon, and Little D. No. 2 sat around a dining table on the 1st floor of the motel.

"In short, we didn't actually see how ya looked like. When ya came to Devildom for the exchange program, it was like ya was covered with a veil, or screen,...whatever." Mammon said.

"It's mysterious yet beautiful and charming in its own way. I would say that's a pretty unique trick." Little D. No. 2 added.

"That was why I didn't recognize you at first when you was taken as a hostage by that chameleon monster. But when you called out to me, I realized right away because the bond we share through the pact." Lucifer said.

"Wait...WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY? MINORU WAS TAKEN AS A HOSTAGE BY A MONSTER!" Mammon shouted.

"Calm down, Mammon. I have taken care of that monster." Lucifer said "But strangely, the monster exploded when I used Hell's Fire on it."

"It's exploded! Wow, it sounded like a Tokusatsu monster..."

Lucifer showed his aura and looked at Minoru.

(NO more of that nonsense! OR ELSE!) Lucifer told Minoru through his glare.

"Our plan right now is to find the others." Lucifer said.

"But how can we find them? Maybe they're on the other side of the world!" Mammon said, sadness in his voice.

"Maybe..."

"You have any idea, Minoru?" Lucifer asked.

"Well...you see...Mammon appeared at an illegal casino, right? It's one of his favorite place, so maybe the others appeared in their favorite place too." Minoru deducted.

"What do ya mean by illegal casino is one of my favorite place?" Mammon protested.

"Good deduction...but given the time, they might have already moved from the original location. However, we can start from those places." Lucifer said.

Then the four began to list out others' favorite locations. But it was no easy task, as one such as Leviathan could have multiple favorite locations, either anime or manga related places or games or related to his stan celebrities. Beelzebub could be in any restaurant or food-related places, Belphegor could be anywhere sleeping, and it was very hard to read Simeon or Barbatos.

The Police Station

07:00 PM

The Inspector was sitting at his working desk, Officer Yoko was on his right, before them was a male police officer reporting his findings.

"Scientia University has confirmed that they do have a student with the name 'Minoru Takahashi'. The dorm of the school has also confirmed that he left the dorm with his roommates yesterday night. His roommates confirmed that he went with them to the Devi nightclub. Yet, he was not found among the victims."

"I wonder if the cultists took him away." Yoko made a comment.

"Then it's quite contradictory with what happened after." the male officer replied. "Because this morning, a man called Minoru's professors and claimed to be his family member. He informed the professors that Takahashi had to take days off due to family issue."

"Huh..."

"..."

"What's even stranger is that this Minoru Takahashi has no male family member."

"WHAT!" Yoko was shocked.

"...His mother is a single mother. No one knows who his father is. Ms. Takahashi immigrated to Country J 22 years ago when she was pregnant, alone."

"Oh, I was presumptuous." Yoko had a bizarre thought that Minoru lived in a family with all females, all males had died, save for him. Fortunately, she didn't speak that out loud.

"...Alright, list the Minoru Takahashi case together with the cultist case. Maybe if we find this young man, many things in this case will come to light." the Inspector finally spoke.

The Motel

10:00 PM

Lucifer was in his room, preparing to go to bed, as he saw Minoru fidgeting outside the room (as he let the door opened).

"Minoru, what is it?"

Minoru sighed then walked in and held Lucifer's hand.

"...What are you doing?" the Avatar of Pride blushed.

"Can I...can I...watch Gao-onger new episode on air tomorrow morning?"

"So this is your goal! My answer is NO!"

"Please...please...please!" Minoru showed Lucifer puppy eyes.

Lucifer's face became redder than it already was but he still shook his head.

"How's about a kiss in exchange for the permission?" Minoru blushed at his own suggestion.

Unable to calm himself anymore, Lucifer cornered Minoru to the wall and did a "kabedon".

"Don't tempt me further! Unless you want things to go beyond a kiss!"

This time, Minoru's face became very hot.

"D...Don't scare me...with that. It's not like I don't have any...e...experience."

"Tsk, I came too late!"

"Huh."

"I won't let you rest until sunrise." Lucifer said and kissed Minoru.

In a cave in the mountain range to the East of the city

"I'm so sorry, General Sabnock. We have lost communication with Synthetic Chameleon!"

"WHAT!" General Sabnock slammed his cane to the floor. "The Fuhrer won't be happy with this. Send someone to the city to investigate!"

"Yes, Sir!"
