Professor Yamato gives a silver watch to Himiko.
“Can’t you be a bit clever? You’ll have some serious problems if some daymare finds out about it.”
Didn’t he want to expose me?
“What do I have to do with this watch?”
“Wear it when you want to see the teacher, it will hide your presence from other Daymares.”

Daymares have some sort of connection with each other. We can sense our friends' presence in our minds whenever we are 1 kilometre away. It is just a presence, not that we know if another Daymare is in trouble or not. And there’s no specific presence for each other. We all release the same type of presence. He doesn't say anything about why he gave me the watch. Did he want me to keep Hiroshi as a secret from others?
“Himiko? Is everything okay?”
A girl with brown hair with the same height as Himiko asked.
“Oh…yeah everything is okay Sayu…”
“Really? You seem pensive, don’t you want to start the obstacles?”
“Oh, hehe…just thinking about something…here I go!”
In a big white looking hall with many drones and cameras, Himiko transforms into her fox form and starts jumping through the moving platform with water under it.
“Hya! Hya! Hya…eh…SPLASH!”
As she jumps through it all, she slips in the final platform and falls into the water and turns back to her human form.
“WF27! What are you doing? Keep focus until the end! Try from the start!” A sound from the speaker said out loud.
“Here Himiko…” Sayu gave her a hand to get out of the water.
“Ergh…thanks Sayu…”
“You really are not feeling well, don’t you? Want to rest a little bit?”
“It’s okay, hehe I’m always like this though…I’ll try again.”

There are as many as twenty Daymares in their white fox form train there beside Himiko and Sayu. All trying to pass themselves from the many obstacles for their training. In another room, a big screen is being used by some scientist-like people to see the progress of all the Daymares in that training ground.

It looks delicious…
Hiroshi stares at a cat that licks its fur.
"Do you want to get eaten?"
Hiroshi said to the cat. The cat doesn't run away as it seems like a tame one. The cat rubbed itself around Hiroshi's leg.
Hiroshi grabbed it and glared into her eyes with a menacing stare. The cat looks uncomfortable but can't release itself due to Hiroshi's tight hold.
Is it good raw? Or grilled? Or fried?
Hiroshi takes the cat closer.
Maybe I should give it a bite...

Prism - Seekers of Solace (A LitRPG Saga)
The Virtual Revolution is in full swing and empty streets dot the landscape, vestiges of a foregone era. Seeking to escape the harshness of the outside world, humanity has turned to VR. And the unlucky few unable to enter this virtual realm must make do however they can.But Prism, the most advanced VRMMORPG, promises to change all that: countless possibilities, no restrictions, and cutting edge tech that allows even those afflicted by VR Sickness to full-dive into its world.Join Ryan and those around him as they try to find a place to call their own within a game that turns out to be so much more. A game that seems to recoil at the players' mere arrival.Author's Note: The story starts out slower, but the pace does pick up eventually. This is a rewrite of my first and only story & I hope to do it justice. The story follows the journey of a group of young men and women as they begin playing Prism. Fair warning, once we move past the initial arc, there will be POV changes as I move from one party member to another or, occasionally, to the viewpoint of some minor characters.Any feedback or suggestions that you might have are more than welcome!Release Schedule: New chapter every Sunday.Cover Art by: Tsuu ([email protected])Prism's Discord Server.

Metagame
Some people get a second chance, late in life, and jump on it. Other people are on their third before they turn twenty. One was given everything they wanted, and threw it away on principle. One earned their place, but could never afford to pay the price. One never failed, right up until it mattered. One encountered nothing but failure, instead helping others achieve success. One never believed themselves worthy. One is crushed by the past, afraid of what might repeat itself. And the last never had a goal to begin with. But while nobody cared and no one was watching, they each decided to carry on in their own ways, even when that made things worse- and they did, usually, get worse. Arrows Through Reality, often called Arrows or ATR, is the world's first full-immersion Virtual Reality game, a MOBA by Granduon incorporated that didn't blow its competition out of the water, but did provide a new entry point that had millions trying their new game. Two years later, the player base has only grown, and everybody knows the most effective tactics... but while a cutting-edge AI supposedly runs the game's balance, it hasn't patched anything a single time. Well, the most effective way to do anything is subjective, right?
