《A Fourth Dimention Reality》Chapter 2: The Search

“I completely, totally, and with all of my being hate you Cassie!” Larson yelled in a whisper to Cassie.
“It’s not my fault. I didn’t think I had to pee!”
“Well you’re either going to have piss on yourself or hold it in because I’m not wasting the energy to disable the cameras in here.”
“We could just pretend we’re some interested highschoolers and ask to go inside.” Cassie suggested.
“We’ll still have to disable the cameras, or do you want someone seeing us when we do something else and us getting caught and hunted down?”
“Aren't you usually the one who says that no one on earth can even harm us?”
“Yeah, but things will go a lot easier if we can work without people on our ass.”
Cassie huffed and was slightly bouncing behind Larson.
He was busy looking out to see if anyone had noticed them, while Cassie was making soft noises behind him and after a bit Larson turned to her.
“Go piss then!”
She nodded and took off running for a bathroom. Larson sighed and returned to spotting out the building.
Cassie had been pretty much right; they could just pose as some kids on a field trip and get in that way. It'd be easier, but Larson still didn’t want to have to deal with the hassle of cutting all the cameras. Was this really the best option? Larson couldn’t think of anything else and settled for that, he turned around and saw Cassie running back to him.
“Okay, your plan is going to be our plan B.” Larson said.
“Like we have a plan A?” Cassie questioned.
“I do at the very least.”
“Then run it by me!”
“Okay, obviously we’ll have to watch this place for a while, but I was thinking of just sneaking in here at night after everyone is gone.”
Cassie beamed, “Oh, we should do it during a holiday then!”
“There's no holidays in March idiot."
She pouted, "What about St. Patrick's Day?"
"You really think you sound smart, huh? Aren't we in school that day?" Cassie opened her mouth, but nothing came out. Larson moved on, "Either way, we're just waiting for people to be gone, and or this place closing early.” Cassie nodded to his reasoning. “Okay, that’s good enough for right now. I say we still just come back here for a while and figure out the usual work hours at this place.”
“When we get in here, what will we be looking for?”
“Reports mostly." Larson stated, "I’m sure they have some shit they’re not sharing with the general public. We’ll use that to decide what other planet we go to.”
“Bro, what if they have some info on other E.Ts?”
“Then we use that, idiot. Just don’t play around when we're in here and get your damn finger prints on the palace or something.”
“Learn to have some fun Lars, it’d help you a lot and those lines on your forehead.” They only got deeper as he frowned at Cassie. She then turned her back to him. “Right, I guess we’ll be coming back here tomorrow?”
“Yeah,” Larson said, moving on from her past comment. “But you can’t be off from school for too long can you?” She shook her head, “Fine, I’ll stay watch for a while and whenever we get the chance to watch together, we will.” Cassie nodded to Larson as they headed back to Cassie’s place for the day.

…
Things went in a rotation for the next half a month and every morning Larson dragged Cassie over to the the grandson they’d eventually have to deal with. Cassie would chicken out every time with a different excuse and eventually Larson got tired of taking her and told her if she didn’t do something about it, he’d ask someone else to do it and he wouldn’t go easy on whoever it was.
Alongside that, Larson had gotten used to NASA’s security system, he planned out a route for them to take once they found the right time to break in.
At the moment, Cassie was sitting at the lunch table with her plate full of foods that weren’t good for anyone including herself. She munched on this food while Larson told her their best odds.
“I don’t know if you can hear me over all that noise you’re making, but if this is screwed up I won’t think to leave you in a heartbeat.”
Cassie swallowed what she was eating and spoke, “You must really think I’m not in this the same way you are. Look, just because I’m not frowning and getting my big girl pants on doesn’t mean I’m not serious.”
“Could have fooled the hell out of me.” Cassie ignored that and moved her tray over to him. “Why?” Was all he said.
“I’m offering you some! You don’t eat at all, at least whenever I see you, you’re not.”
“Because we don’t get hungry often.”
“I know, but we still have to eat so why not just eat anyways?”
“I eat when I have to. Nothing more.”
Cassie snickered, “You must eat like a salad and some water huh?” Larson grabbed her hand right before she was about to eat something causing Cassie to drop it. Her other hand grabbed it before she complained to him. “I must be right if you thought to do that.” She commented.
He let her hand go and rested his head in his hand, “You’re so fucking annoying.”
“Thank you!” Cassie returned to eating, but stopped suddenly and looked behind Larson. He turned his head, curious at what she was looking at, and he saw a girl smiling at them both.
“What do you want?” Larson said, turning back to face Cassie again.
Cassie looked at the girl and offered her an apologetic smile.
“Uh, well, I wanted to invite you two to a party I’m throwing… it’s kind of far from here so if you don’t have a ride-”
“We’re good.” Larson said cutting her off.
“B-but, you can bring each other if you want!” The girl pleaded.
Larson opened his eyes and looked at Cassie, Cassie just kept eating without saying a word. He then sighed and got up facing the girl.
“Look, I know what kind of angle you’re trying to pull here and I’m not interested in spilling my seed in some worthless being. Not even her.” He said pointing behind him at Cassie.
“Ew.” Cassie said to him.
The girl seemed shocked, “I-I wasn’t asking you to-”
“Really?” The girl pressed her lips together to Larson's comment, “I mean besides the fact that you always stare at me, you’ve slept with pretty much half the school and I must be next on the list huh?”
The girl’s mouth opened and she just shook her head and quickly left the cafeteria.
Larson scoffed and sat back down. Cassie stared at him for a while and eventually Larson let out a groan. “I’ll gouge your eyes out if you keep staring at me like that.”

“See? Like that.”
“What are you talking about now?”
“You could have declined her more in a more… human way.”
Larson watched as Cassie reached for more food to put in her mouth. He sighed and spoke while putting his elbow up to rest on the table, “If I did that then I’d be leading her on and I don’t have the slightest intention of doing that.”
“You wouldn’t be leading her on if you just said you’re not interested.”
“Yes I would. Humans always think there’s a chance for them to get one in just as long as you’re not taken. Apparently being in a relationship means shit.”
Cassie just shook her head at him, “Speaking of which. Not that I want that, but why aren’t I ‘worthy’ of your seed?” She then laughed at herself after saying that, Larson just stared at her. “Okay, I’m sorry, but I still want an answer.”
Larson sighed, “It’s pointless either way. So I told myself I’d never reproduce.” He simply stated.
“Why?”
“I just said why.”
“Okay, maybe it’s pointless, but wouldn’t you want to see what a little you would look like?” She spoke happily at the idea.
“Yeah, my parents have baby pictures.”
“Boo, you’re no fun.” Larson once more grabbed her wrist right as she was eating, “Ha, that won’t work twice!” He let her go faster this time and returned to sitting how he once was. “But, I still don’t get that, if we were kids and we were born the same as everyone else, what actually makes us different from these guys?”
“Maybe the fact that I punched a hole through a tree, stood under fire and didn’t feel a thing? Like seriously, what are you even asking?”
“Like that, even if we’re different because we won’t die to anything they will, we’re still technically humans?”
“Yeah, but I'm assuming we don’t have the same functions, properties, and processes…” Larson paused, “Well, mostly, since for whatever reason you still can have crushes.”
“I told you, it’s more like those people are fascinating because of how unique they look.” She clarified.
“Well you’re weird with your crushes. You let that hinder you much like humans do.”
She nods, “Oh, or maybe some of us are more human than others!”
“I didn’t think of that, but it’s hard to say when there’s only a small bit of information on us.”
“You wanna know what we should do? We should write our own discoveries!”
“Neither of us know how to do that properly.” Cassie pouted, “no, we need someone else to write this stuff down for us.” Larson said.
“Well, I can write pretty well!”
“Doesn’t matter, you’re not a doctor in any right so I’m just gonna keep telling you no.”
Cassie put a piece of bread in her mouth and spoke with it there. “I don’t know what you’re saying, I can’t hear it with that food in your mouth.” She smiled after he said that...
Their lunch period ended and neither of them were interested in going to their classes so they opted on doing their mission on the NASA building.
However, before that, Cassie had to text her parents and lie to them saying that she’d be staying over at Larson’s place and to also give them the number of his ‘parents’ in case something happened.
Larson was standing in front of Cassie while she texted away a convincing message.
“Um,” Larson turned around hearing the voice and saw the male they were supposed to be talking to. The grandson of Barmen, “Sorry if I’m bothering you two, but I wanted to ask you guys something.”
Cassie looked up unaware of who it was and she instantly pulled her lips in her mouth upon seeing him. The male smiled at her.
“Sure, what is it?” Larson said.
The male chuckled, “You guys are really weird, but… you two are like some kind of fourth dimensional creatures right?”
Larson looked at Cassie, she was equally shocked but Larson spoke.
“We’re assuming… though we’re not from there.” Larson spoke carefully.
“Yeah, I just didn’t know how else to call you guys.”
“Can I ask how you even know that?” Cassie asked.
“Well, my grandfather used to tell me about when he was younger. He used to talk all the time about strange things happening around where he lived, but there was one thing I always remembered because I thought it was really cool. It was that you guys could disturb waves, in this case it was electrical ones.” He took out his phone, “Every time you guys would come by my class I couldn’t do anything on it. I thought at first it was just my phone acting up so I got a new one, but the same thing would happen even then. So I paid attention and realized that it only happens when you guys were around. I put two and two together and I guess I was right.” The male explained.
“Yeah… we did actually try to talk to you beforehand.” Cassie said.
“It’s cool, not like you could just walk up to me and tell me you have powers like this.”
Larson stepped up now, “Though, we were going to ask you if your family kept any of the research that your grandfather did.”
“They might have, but it’s not anywhere I live.”
“Why?”
“Because my dad never believed my grandfather or anything he said. He called it dementia,” Cassie stifled a laugh, Larson looked back at her with narrowed eyes. She looked down and kept a straight face. Larson rolled his eyes and turned his back to her as he went on, “He’s passed away now, but I know he didn’t have dementia or anything like that, this stuff was real!” He exclaimed.
“Do you guys have a family home or something?” Larson asked.
“Not that I know of, but I could always ask my mom. She was my dad’s highschool sweetheart so she was pretty much always a part of the family.”
Cassie nodded, “This is great! If you find something we might not have to go anywhere!”
“I swear you talk too much.” Larson brought his fingers between his eyes.
“You two were gonna go somewhere?” The male asked.
“No-”
“Yeah!” Cassie moved Larson out of the way and spoke, “Lars here said we might be able to find out some stuff about us at NASA since we believe they may have encountered beings like us already. Then if we’re right, this means we’d have to visit another planet.”
“That’s so cool!” He said, “But, if you’re gonna do that you’ll need someone to document whatever you find.”
Cassie smiled and looked at Larson, “He’s gonna wind up helping us anyways, so can he do what you said I can’t?”
Larson looked at her, “What if he tells someone about us?” Larson asked.
“In your words, no one can even hurt us anyways!”
Larson rolled his eyes and looked back at the male who had a smile on his face, “If you tell anyone about us we’ll kill you.”
“He’ll kill you, not me.” Cassie corrected.
“I wasn’t planning on it. I hoped to be a researcher anyways.”
“Damn, how lucky are we?” Cassie said. “You did say we needed to find someone.”
“Yeah, but preferably someone older than us.”
Cassie put her hands on her hips, “Age doesn’t mean shit, if he thinks he’s up to the job then we should give him a chance!” Larson sighed and said nothing. Cassie turned back to the other male, “You’ll get used to him, when he doesn’t say anything that’s him giving in to what I say!” He chuckled, “Oh, but you don’t know our names, I’m Cassie and he’s Larson!”
“I’m Jax, I bet this'll be really fun.”
Cassie smiled at him meanwhile Larson was just over her and began to walk away.
“If you don’t hurry up I’ll leave you.” Larson said.
Cassie grunted and began walking to catch up with him, “We’ll talk later, but for now try and get whatever you can out of your mom!”
Jax nodded and watched as Cassie turned to get back with Larson.
Once she did, they walked to the back of the school to leave. “Hey, you didn’t have to take off like that.” Cassie said.
“Whatever,” They got to the grass field that sat behind the school and went over the fence before turning in the direction of NASA. “Are you doing this today or not?”
Cassie nodded to him, “Of course, but you could be a bit-” Larson took off as she was talking, “That asshole!” Cassie took off as well yelling for Larson as she caught up to him…
