The day after the party, everyone got tired and wanted to rest, especially Sir Key who was the host of the party after his entitlement. However, since I am his maid, I need to wake up early to serve him.

But last night, I was given the order to take care of the unknown noblewoman that is sleeping on Lapis' bed.

Lapis now, is sleeping beside me in my cramped bed. It amazes me that she could sleep despite the small space. Maybe she is used to it since she was once a maid.

While changing my uniform, I notice that the noblewoman is waking up.

After yawning and rubbing her eyes, she notices my presence and freezes the next moment.

“Good morning, miss. I was told to take care if you by my master.”

Of course, I greet her as a proper maid would do. A smile and a bow.

“Where am I and who's your master?”

“Did you nog remember? A man brought you here last night and nearly pushed you down. You were lucky enough that Master Chardelier passed by and saved you.”

When I told her what happened, she becomes shocked while holding her head. Isn't she a bit overdramatic? Or maybe I just got used to Sir Key's casual reaction to everything?

“I almost got raped? I don't remember anything last night!”

“I have a hunch that the man may have drugged you. But don't worry, you're under my master's protection for now. You are in the safest place in the world.”

I'm confident that Sir Key can take on Armies on his own! That's how powerful he is! And I'm proud to be in-love with such amazing man.

“Why are you smiling?”

Oh no! I let my thoughts take over my face.

“Ehem! But miss, would you like some breakfast?”

“Wait a minute. Did you say your master’s house name is Chardelier?”

She just noticed that now?

“Yes. Why do you ask?”

After my confirmation, all of a sudden, her face became pale while like she just heard a scary story.

“Is there a prob-“

“I didn't become a nuisance to him, did I?”

That's probably what should’ve I expected, she's also scared of him. Sir Key's common sense is a bit different from ours so its understandable. Staying with him for a long time made me understand him a bit.

“Don't worry, he doesn't see you something like a nuisance. My master is a kind person.”

“B-but! Isn't he supposed to be a scary person with his power? He's capable of creating gigantic things like the one from today!”

“That is a very big misunderstanding, miss.”

Somehow, her view of Sir Key is irritating.

“Have you actually seen my master?”

“No, not yet. There were too many people so I didn't get a chance.”

That explains a lot.

“If you haven't seen my master, consider it a blessing.”

“I knew it!”

“But it's not what you think.”

I immediately break her expression to let her understand my point.

“If you would see my master, you'll understand. That's because you'll see and understand the concept of seeing someone you can never have. He's the type of person that cares for everyone precious to him, and even for a maid like me, he rescued me even if it meant staining his hand with blood.”

She looks like she hasn’t believed me yet, but it's not my duty to force her to see what I see in Sir Key.

“He-he must've had done something to enthrall you! There's no way a person would be fond of such a man just like you!”

Because of what she said, I fell quiet. After that, I couldn't stop laughing.

“You are right! He did some to make me fall for him, and that's his character. Though my feelings would be unnoticed, I can say that this is what I truly feel for him. It's not magic or anything. It was me who fell for him.”

It's slightly embarrassing when I talk about sir Key like this. I can feel my cheeks getting hot too.

Aside from that, it seems she finally believes me. Her face also becomes pinkish.

Then all of a sudden, I could hear a small knock on the door.

To my surprise, it's Marie standing outside. She's rubbing her eyes so she's still probably half-asleep coming here.

“Fwua~”

She lets out a cute moan and then looks at me. Of course, I pick her up since she's opening her arms out.

It's a big mystery on how she got out of Sir Key's room and remembers the path to my room. I know his good and bad habits, and he has a bad habit of waking up late when he goes to bed after drinking liquor.

“Who is that child?”

Out of curiosity, the noblewoman asks me while getting out of the bed.

“Ah! Her name is Marie Chardelier. My master's daughter.”

“What?!”

“It's a very hard to explain story, but it's true. She is his daughter of flesh and blood. Marie, say hi to the visitor.”

“Hi~”

Marie makes a light smile while lightly raising her hand to wave. And because she looks really adorable doing it, it stole the noblewoman's heart.

“I guess this explain everything you need to know about my Master. There's no way he'll be blessed with such an amazing daughter if he was cruel.”

After this, I gave her a breakfast in the kitchen with Marie and Lapis.

She wanted to meet Sir Key before leaving, but since Sir Key hasn’t woken up yet, she didn't get a chance to do so.

However, on our way going to the exit, we found Sir Key. We couldn't take our eyes from him at that moment because he was topless and his toned body was exposed. Though he looked like he had a headache, his annoyed expression matched his over all look.

He didn't notice us, but we peeked at him the whole time while washing his face and body. No matter what kind of woman you are, seeing that scene will charm you and he will steal your heart.
