General Sam Held his rifle with what strength he had left.
The Command center was Strobe lighting green. But behind The wounded general was the Blue ethereal portal opened to an unknown destination.
“Why did you turn your back against us?” Catie asked the General.
“ I fought this damn war for your dark fleet, killed innocent and lost my friend who you turned against me. My true interest was not in fighting this war for your benefit.” The General responded.
“We could have ruled a civilization.” Catie replied.
“Wrong, you would have ruled, that is not the way I see things now.” The General continued
“ I See a Different way, and you're not in it.” The General looked at the Admiral.
Admiral of the Dark Fleet Catie Fired her weapon. Sam Fired back. They both hit each other. The rifles burst Slammed Catie against the wall.
Catie's Round. Hit Sam In the left side of his helmet which shattered it and sent him flying through the portal. Which closed it as well.
Blast bugs exploded the base gun towers and walls.
The Swarm of Martian bugs took over the Martian Base and slaughtered every soldier.
General Sam fell through the blue portal and into the Lower level Medical Experimentation room of the Dark Base.
Sitting up, one of the Rooms Medical droids Started to try to help General Sam.
The examination table was starting to fill with Generals BLood from the wounds he suffered on Mars.
THe droid Administered him with the new Medi Shot through a special port made for medical treatment.
The wound sealed and Sam Felt more better with his Suit stabilizers finding homeostasis.
“Medical unit, Where's the Prisoner’s hold?” General Sam Questioned the Droid.

“ Down the Long hall there sir, is a Stairwell that will take you to the lowest subterranean Levels of the Dark Base, Down there is where you will find the Prisoner hold.” The Droid Replied to the General's question.
“Thanks!” Then General Sam put a round right through the Droid CPU and the droid collapsed to the Dark Base Cold Stone Floor.
The General hopped off the Examination table. Looking around and following out the directions of the medical droid, General Sam finally came to signs leading him to the lower Subterranean levels Captive holds.

The transformation into fae form comes as a shock: all seven, whether originally female or male, find themselves now unreasonably beautiful women. More urgent even than that, though, is their captivity. Getting back to the real world is a higher priority than this metamorphosis that rapidly begins to feel natural... but this is only the first step, as the diverse types of fae blood they carry begin to surface. With no resources except themselves, how can they escape this prison? If they succeed, how can they possibly reclaim their lives? Just how many other faelings have been kidnapped, anyway, and what happened to them? And is there a way to make sure that their captors never put anyone else through this? Back in the real world, Kayla, who learned long ago to trust her gut instincts, is absolutely certain that something is very wrong. The pattern in the list of missing friends is easy to spot, but makes no sense at all. Then a young woman turns up at the backyard gate who knows more than she should, and even though her explanation makes even less sense, every instinct tells Kayla that Riley is her only way to get them back. If they're not quite what they were, well, that's a bridge to cross later... Just a little note: I'm a big believer in endings that are upbeat but not candy-coated, and not a fan of grim-and-gritty or of glamorized violence. These are adults in a difficult situation. However, no one gets raped, and the physical violence is, all things considered, fairly minimal. There is some harassment, sexual and otherwise, and also some mild restraint and mild verbal abuse. Complicating factors are generally wizardly or fae in nature. If I need to warn you about gender in this being all over the map, some of it reality-based rather than fantasy-based, highly diverse sexuality, or that there is (especially later) some indirect fetish/BDSM imagery and honest character discussion, then you probably should just avoid everything I write. :-) Also available on Scribble Hub.
