《Tales of Astora: Legacy (FINISHED)》Discussion post 2 (NOT A CHAPTER)

Before I say anything, this is a Discussion post as a preparation for me for the second book of this series (book 1 in done in term of storyline and will finish somewhere between chapter 110-120 I hope before the end of August).
As I have said in a few posts, the second book is a direct sequel of the current story but with a new MC. Who do you think this character might be? Tell me who you think it might be! (yes it is one of the characters that will or have already appeared in book 1, either mentioned by a known character or we have seen that person)
As for the reason of this post, it is to measure the popularity of each character so far. Depending on the story goes and your opinion, this might have an effect on the story. It is regretful but in order to have new characters coming in book 2, old ones need to go.
Since there are too many of them (major and minor), I won’t be making a poll but instead ask you to give me your favorite character(s) and the reasons why. Rest assured! Just because a character doesn’t have many vote, it doesn’t mean he or she won’t appear in book 2. This is simply guidance for me to know which character is the most successful and most importantly what makes you like them so much in order to help me making even better characters. Therefore I would appreciate if you tell me the reason for your choice in the comments.
I understand it’s a lot of hassle I am asking but in order to improve my novel, it’s not just about me thinking of new ideas or has better grammar. The readers also can voice their opinions to help me make this series even better by telling me what is good or bad in the most objective way possible.

Others might call him a devil, meting punishment on those deserving. The true story is always slightly different. Davy Jones is a ferryman, but not one for the afterlife, as Walter finds out. No, Davy Jones manages those who die at sea while in debt, and Walter died with a lot of debt. Unable to pay, Davy puts Walter to work. The specter has just the job for the dead college graduate. Another god, Sod, needs an afterlife for his new world. Davy tasks Walter with the job. Suddenly, Walter finds himself having to run a fledgling underworld with little instruction from Sod. To top it off, the denizens of Sod's world have their own ambitions to achieve godhood, and they won't take kindly to Sod's newest employee shaking up the status quo. [Traumatizing Content tag is up just to let everyone know this will be a story that deals with different themes of death. Some of them won't be nice and so better to be safe than sorry.]
