The two men look at him as if he was crazy, Scott even back up a bit from him. At this time, Steve holding Loki’s Scepter run in the alley and froze when he saw Jay, instinctively get in a fighting stance, turning to Tony and Scott with a questioning pair of eyes.

“Hello Captain, it seem you lose the beard” Jay wave while smiling.

“Okay enough chit chat tell us who you are and what you want, I don’t remember there was someone like you in the past”

Facing Tony serious tone, Jay shrugged, taking out the Tesseract and throwing it toward him. Tony scramble to catch it and glare at Jay for how he careless he was when dealing with this.

Even though he knows there would be little chance of anything happening to the stone store inside of it, he still can’t afford be careless, this is the life of half the universe at stake here! And they only have enough Pym Particle for one shot, if they miss this then there won’t be any do over.

Holding the cube in his hand and checking that it was real deal, he focus back on Jay who look as if what he throw was not something precious like a Infinity Gem but rather a stone that he pick up by the sidewalk.

“So you are aware of the future, how? And why are you helping us?”

Jay put his hand to his chin and tilts his head thinking. There was no particular reason for him to help them; even if he doesn’t do anything there weren’t really any changes to the future as they will just go further back to get the stone at a different time anyway.

“In a sense, it would be cleaning up your pile of mess, I guess?”

If he hadn’t intervene then Loki would have grab the Tesseract and hightail out of here creating another whole bunch of problem, and Jay die before the Loki series air so there was absolute no way to tell what will happen or how it will affect the time line and his life, so just to make sure he choose to stop the Trickster God and give the Tesseract to Tony and crew for their time heist.

"Honestly if i haven't stop Loki right there then there would probably a big ass mess in this timeline and that something i would like to not happen also there are so many different way you could have done this time heist better, like going back in time and getting more Pym Particle and just jumping at anytime you want, seriously you have a bunch of genius but can't even think of that"

A cross vein pop on Tony's fore head and he wants to refute Jay's statement but Steve hold his shoulder, shaking his head while looking at Jay seriously and with some vigilant.

“Let it go Tony, this is not the time and it seem the past us seem to trust him so we should let it go for now and we already got the stones, it better if we leave before something else bad happen”

Tony face look a bit tangled and frustrated but finally nod, the trio then suit up and perpare to go back to the future.

“Hey, Tony catch” Jay said as he throw something to him, catching it with his hand , Tony stare at the green bean and then look back at Jay weirdly.

But Jay still show a calm smile and explain the usage of the Senzu bean to him.

“When you about to die eat it”

While don’t understand what he meant but Tony still nod and activate the suit leaving the past and traveling back to the future.

Jay was about to leave when a circle of spark show up in front of him and a yellow hooded figure walk through the door.

Jay raises his brown in surprise, cupping his hand together and bowing slightly in front of him greeting the figure that step out of the portal.

“It’s an honor to meet you, the Protector of Earth, Ancient One”

The person pulls the hood down to reveal a middle-aged bald woman smiling gently.

“Mr. Jay” she nods then turns to look where Tony trio was standing just now.

“You seem to be awfully confident of them, even enough to hand over an Infinity Stone” she looks at him somewhat curious and a bit respect, such a young person yet in face of such power, he was willing to hand it over to someone else.

“Well didn’t you do the same thing?” he said somewhat humorously “Maybe my trust in them is like your trust in Strange”

She smile, not responding and contemplate for a bit before speaking.

“Mr. Jay, May I interest you in magic study?”
