Jay twirl the bag of raisin in his hand while thinking to himself.
What should he do next?
He can stop all the following development, Hawkeye attacks on the Helicarrier, Hulk rampaging , Loki escaping, the war of New York.
But is that really better? All this events was what united the Avenger, helping them to form a camaraderie of sort, shaping them into a team. Without these events and conflict the Avenger will still remain a rag tag team with out any teamwork or understanding of each other.
When he was thinking there was a soft feeling on his back and a pair of arm hugging him from behind.
"What you overthinking about?" Charlotte softly whisper into his ear, shuddering him a bit.
Reaching hui hand back and patting her on the head a bit.
"Nah, just how much extras i should charge Fury on this."
"Hmm~" Charlotte was not convinced though and squeeze her arms even harder.
Suddenly on his earpiece Fury voice sound out.
"Jay! Loki plan to unleashe the Hulk, get to the lab right now!"
Hearing his word Jay stood up and make his way toward Banner's lab with Charlotte holding his hand. When he just open the door, there were a tense atmosphere lingering in the room.
On Tony handheld devices there was a projection showing a weapons development plan code name phase 2. Steve was standing nearby next to a energy gun while angrily staring at Fury.
Banner was angrily staring at Natasha. Fury was pointing his fingers at Thor, explaining to Steve.
"Last year earth had a visitor from another planet who had a grudge match that leveled a small town. We learned that not only are we not alone, but we are hopelessly, hilariously, outgunned."
"My people want nothing but peace with your planet." Thor frowned, refuting his words.

"But you're not the only people out there, are you? And, you're not the only threat. The world's filling up with people who can't be matched, they can't be controlled just like him"
This time Fury points his finger at Jay but he just shrugged his shoulder in response while jokingly said.
"Hey now, i have done nothing to harm other you know? I even help you to solve some of your problems did I not?"
"Yes" Fury nod in acknowledgement "But you always ask for a price, what would you do if someone else paid higher or some terrorists paid you to kill the president, would you do it? How can we be sure that you on our side or are we even safe to be on your side"
Hearing this Jay shake his head and sneer.
"And here I thought you should have learned your lesson on how wrong it is trying to control large amounts of power can back fire?"
His words was as if a fuse triggering a massive fight inside the room, Fury justified his actions, Steve and Tony was about to duke it out, the seed of chaos was germinating.
Jay didn't pay their fight any heed though as he approached the slightly glowing Scepter. Holding it in his hand and looking at the shining gem, eyes blood red with a pentagram on it.
"So this is how it work huh?"
His actions certainly didn't miss the eyes of the people in the room as everyone tense up with Fury hand on his holster ready to pull out his gun.
"Jay, put the scepter down."
Fury said, brown frowned, his words fill with caution. Jay didn't care though and continued to analyze the scepter.
"Put it down and let it slowly drive you guys mad and killed each other? While that would be quite a spectacular sence there are other important business we should be attend to."

A series of small runes then formed a circle on the scepter tip particularly on the gem, surrounding it, glowing ever so lightly. Everyone in the room suddenly feel as if a layer of fog disappeared from their mind accompanied by a flash of clarity.
Realizing what was happening and how careless they were, make people in the room have a sudden chill in their heart, if they were to be control the damage would have been immense. Just the Hulk rampaging is enough to bring this Helicarrier to the ground.
Jay was not completely immune to the mind control either, has it not been for him being extremely cautious and preparing several enchantment against mind control he would not be this calm and stable.
And while it seem he didn't do much when other was busy fighting each other, in fact he was analyzing the magic on the scepter, and reserve engineering it to make a counter spell and dispelling the effect.
"Well, now that done, I advise you to hold on tight as it about to get a bit bumpy."
Jay said as he pull Charlotte holding her in his arm. Confused as what his word meant they didn't react until the sound of a massive explosion was heard as the ship began to tilt side way, knocking down the lab items.
